I think this bra fits really nicely, despite the cup width being a little on the wider side. The cups are a little stiff and does not follow and bend with the body as much as I would like it to, however, it's also perhaps the reason why that the cups don't wrinkle under my boobs at all unlike my other bras (!), and I like that. There is some padding near the underwire too which I think also helps prevent the bra from wrinkling, and also provides some support to the breasts. The gore is really short and low too which helps with close-set breasts. I think ...it does a nice job with structure and support but the band remains a little big for me (if only I could get this bra in a smaller band size...)
The bra looks pretty simple but pretty all the same. The material is smooth, and the band is really comfy. Another thing which I love about this bra is that the back band (where the hooks are) is slightly taller than most of my bras (even though it has 2 rows of hooks still) and I think it may be what gives me better support too. This bra would fit perfectly except for the straps. The band is comfortably tight without digging, the gore tacks, and my breast tissue fills the entire cup comfortably. The underwire doesn't dig anywhere and there is great support. But the straps are set too far apart and like to try to fall off, and where the strap meets the cup digs in and chafes my arm. Perhaps if the strap was a softer material, it wouldn't dig in as much. I may try to alter this and add a pad.
My first DD bra & still my favorite. Very comfortable. This bra seems to me to fit more like a 32E. It is the only 32DD bra I bought that I don't quadboob in after tissue migration. There's a little touch of orange in a glass, but it doesn't show up under shirts. One of my go-to bras, and probably will be until it falls apart.
My height (5'2") didn't seem to work for this initially with the straps worn in the conventional way. The wire came up high near the armpits and the cup coverage was too much. The wire is more U shaped than Nike swoosh shaped. I suspect this would have worked better if I were not slightly asymmetrical and slightly conical, as the wire dug in more on my smaller breast side, where I can't quite fill out the bottom of the cup as my inframammary fold is slightly higher on that side. The gore wore on my xiphoid process rather than regular sternum area because there was a sort ...of fleshy strip right above my xiphoid process that kind of forced the gore to stay low. I wore this for one workday with the straps in regular (not criss-cross) position. The straps started slipping after half an hour. Today I retried this with criss-cross strap position, and it is working a lot better, but the cups are still higher coverage than I need. If I'm not careful on position, the cup cuts a bit into my tail of Spence. The straps are not slipping, though. The wires sit better in my inframmamary fold, I don't feel a gap in the cup this time, and though there is a very small amount of quadding near the center, the gore isn't digging in. The band was still right, especially the dental-floss like bottom of the band, but everything feels distributed better with the straps in the criss cross position at the bottom of the bra band in back. I have since tried this bra with a non-elastic extender to add an inch, and wear has been much more bearable. This was bought on sale for $17. I suspect it was a return because there were already creases at the bottom of the cups at time of purchase. I probably would not have paid full price for this, but the quality was sufficient for the sale price.--After wearing 5 more times, the bra has become more comfortable. With stretching the dental floss feel of the bottom elastic is gone. Read more 247 more words
I'm mostly FOB and center-full, fairly close-set with indenting/deflation near tail of spence, and pretty narrow-rooted with some height and some projection.
[Disclaimer - I have only tried it on]
PROS: - Very soft! - Stretchy
CONS: - Edges don't really lay flat so I think if I were wearing a tight shirt, they would show - Might be too stretchy
I don't think this is my size but I will definitely get it if they have the right one.
My usual size is a 30DDD but that wasn't available so I sister-sized. I'm still figuring out my shape and I don't think I'm very suited to t-shirt bras but I still wanted to try. I believe I'm mostly FOB and center-full, fairly close-set with indenting/deflation near tail of spence, and pretty narrow-rooted with some height and some projection.
CONS: - Gore doesn't tack - Projects very east-west so lots of empty space there - Fabric around wire lifts up - Too tall so the bottom of the cup doesn't get filled - Cups too far apart for me
I think this would be better for people who are very projected and have outer/upper fullness! It was definitely the completely wrong shape for me but could be okay for someone else.
Excellent bra that has lasted a year of heavy use with minimal damage. Very comfortable to wear with any casual outfit without showing lines or odd bulges. The wide band prevents that back fat lump. Stayed with me through a 50 pound weight change and fit through the whole process, although now is time for a new one.
I ordered this hoping it would fit better than a 34D I had purchased. The band is better, but I think this just isn't my style. There is too much padding around the wires, which causes the bra to slide around a lot. Also, my boobs are a very different shape than the cups (I am full on bottom) so there is some empty air at the deepest point of the cups, even though I'm getting a tiny bit quad-booby lower in the cup.
Cups fit perfectly, band is loose. Am keeping for a lounging around the house, reading kind of bra as I paid 14.99 for ithttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> Very soft and comfortable, but flimsy.
I'm so glad others have noticed the stiff cups as well. I thought it was just me being picky at first! lol
