This is one of the bras I found on my way to a better fit for me. When I bought it it ran small in the band - more like a 30 or 32. A couple of months later and I find it is fitting alot more like a 34 in the band and the straps are no longer capable of going short enough. The cups are really far apart and the material creases when you bend over alot or (dare I say) slouch. The material is soft and sort of spongy - not bad, and I like the wide band with 3 hooks for the support (nice on the back). I bought it on clearance so I can't complain, but you get what you pay for in construction and wear as always.
Had a $10 credit at Maidenform. This was the lesser evil of my choices. This bra is built solidly like a brick outhouse and the band is lined with soft cotton. The gore isn't completely comfortable for me, but I'm a splayed separation type, so your mileage may vary. Fortunately, the band runs tighter than normal for this brand, since I need a tighter band in 34DD since my usual size is 32E UK. Although not the perfect shape for me, it should be adequate for its job as a riding bra. It seems to me that this bra is more like a 32E UK/ 32DDD US than a 34DD.
Update: I shortened the straps, and it fits better.
The gore floats off my sternum compared to the Comfort Devotion 9404, and while cup fitment is pretty decent (the underwires always run a little wide for me), the construction of the bra I have some issue with. Maybe it's just the black lace version I have, but there is more area of lace over the cup than the surface area of the cup allows for. This causes wrinkles that are VERY visible through my shirts. I have hardly worn this bra for that reason >https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
The underwire runs a little wide for my breast shape, but this is the only bra I've worn for a good 7 years or so. I just wish the cups weren't so tall, and that they had more patterns in my size
Quality: -I've had it for about 2 years as of now and it's held up extremely well. The band hasn't stretched too much from before I think, the underwire is fine, there are no loose threads and the cups have kept their shape. I've been pretty cruel to the poor thing too (Putting it on wrong, washing it in the machine, etc.) It's a great bra, just the completely wrong one for me. I'd totally recommend it if you're looking for a good budget bra and you fall into the size range! I think it maybe it has been discontinued though...
Comfort: -The material is so comfortable -It does have a U ...shape back -The straps can convert to racerback -3 hooks -The wires were a bit uncomfortable, but again it's the complete wrong size for me.
Appearance: -It's a T-shirt bra but the style is cut more plunge than full coverage (could also be because it's massively the wrong size for me) -Super cute looking, there is a small bow on the gore and just enough lace on the sides at the wings. The lace doesn't rub or get in the way of anything. Read more 79 more words
band too small, empty space at bottom of cup, like it's narrow U shaped and my IMF is a straight line on the bottom. quads on top. bruises at top of wire under my arm. Good under t-shirts
The Maidenform Comfort Devotion was my go-to bra until I found r/abrathatfits and realized this bra really doesn't fit me at all. As I'm a couple of cup sizes bigger than this bra is meant for, it is a "boob hat" rather than a supportive bra on me. Now that I understand how a bra is supposed to fit, I'm not sure how I thought this fit. It really only worked because I didn't know about the scoop/swoop method, so my breast tissue was pushing back against the band and some escaped into my armpits. Somehow I never realized that was breast tissue.
Even so, I can say the fabric was always comfortable and the bra held up well over time. Unfortunately, the bra only comes in sizes up to DD, so it won't work for a lot of people. However, if you fall into matrix sizing, I would give this bra a shot.
This T-back front-closure bra would be perfect for someone with splayed breasts or has lots of outer fullness and not much center fullness and/or has a wide sternum.
On me, it spreads everything East & West and flattens me out, similar to when I'm laying down (of course, not to that extreme, but you get the idea). Everything else fits acceptably, albeit far from perfect. It's certainly not the look I prefer. The wires are wide on me and the cups are shallow. But the gore is low enough that its' wide width doesn't interfere with my breasts and sits comfortably on my sternum. ...The cups are tall on my short torso, making the sides of the cups right on the verge of painfully rubbing on my armpits. Also, the wires sit ever so slightly on my ribs instead of tucked into my IMF.
I normally don't wear front closures, for the very reason there are no adjustments possible in the band. But I have been dealing with constant pain in my dominant arm from Chronic Tendonitis for almost a year already. And putting on a regular bra (regardless of method) has only made my problem worse, by continually causing small tears at the injury, so that it hasn't had a chance to heal. So hopefully this front-closure bra will be serviceable long enough that will allow my arm to heal and I won't need a front closure for too long. In retrospect, I should have switched over to this type a long time ago. Read more 152 more words
After some bad advice, I bought two Maidenform 34DD bras. After about a year of wearing them, they were no longer fitting properly, so I went and purchased four new ones. These were the Comfort Devotion Embellished Extra Coverage bras and they were so comfortable. I have recently found out, however, that 34DD is not my correct size, which explains why I was slipping out of the bottom of the bras and having to adjust myself often. If you are actually a 34DD, then I think these bras would be a great fit and you'd find them very comfortable.

This is a good full coverage bra that goes well under t-shirts. I used to think this was my correct size. It is what I consider full coverage. The outside is a smooth stretch material. It snags easily. The inside is molded and lightly padded. It gives a smooth round appearance.
The cups are slightly too big, which is (I think) what allows the underwire to dig into my sternum. The band doesn't have as much stretch to it as most of my other bras.
tha fabric IS a dream, it's super soft. The bra is really small but still wearable because the cups are stretchy. I'm not sure how to call it, may be the cups are moulded or may be it's a spacer bra
