    Hasn't set fit

This will be the second glowing review I post of a Maison Lejaby bra this week! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The quality of the materials and of the construction are again amazing.
After wearing it for the past three days I can say that the band is the most comfortable I've ever worn! Usually, most bra bands seem to have a somewhat uneven tension between the fabric of the band itself (which is usually a more stretchy material), and that of the elastics on the upper and lower edge (which are usually firmer). That makes the elastics cut in uncomfortably (I'm looking at you, Freya ... Deco!). Somehow, for this bra it's not the case, and the band feels smooth and comfortable the whole day.
Regarding the design, this bra looks absolutely beautiful. I like the rose decoration on the cup, and the fact that there isn't any charm on the gore. The colour didn't really come across in the pictures I took, it's not as pinkish in real life - it's a more deep shade of red, like a deep berry colour, a bit lighter than burgundy. The decorative lace on the straps is quite uncommon and gives a unique look.
The straps are the only minor comfort complaint that I have. They're only half adjustable, with the top part not stretchy at all. Somehow, the non-stretch straps are not as comfortable as the usual stretch ones. However, a plus side for a lot of people will be that the straps seem to be less wide set than usual, and they don't tend to sit so wide set on the shoulders.
The fabric looks very delicate, but in fact the fit is very stable and secure. The profile I get from it is quite minimized, despite the shape being between round and pointy - so definitely not flattened. Maybe it's because it doesn't bring the bust completely to the front.
The wires are also surprisingly comfortable. They are very low under the arms (great for us with short roots!) and the gore is also not too tall. There is a lot of bottom projection, and this is the first time in an unlined bra that I get an extremely smooth fit of the fabric on the whole lower cup. What I personally like is that this really doesn't feel like a "lot of" bra. It's quite low coverage overall.
Unlike the EU 85G @Enlace Moi bra, this one is is one band and one cup smaller. But the sizing definitely runs large! My usual size is UK 36GG (depends a bit from brand to brand).

I loooove this bra. The cups run really big compared to what most conversion charts I've seen show for French-sized bras--I normally wear a 34H UK and this 36G Fr is just about perfect. I do have to wear it on the tightest hooks, but I plan to alter the band down eventually.

It is very comfortable, narrow, and projected. The materials are soft and luxurious, very high quality.

  3. Manon 3-section Underwired (G11333)

I usually wear a 34H UK, so I was very surprised that this 36G Fr fit, but it does, and I love it. I do have to wear it on the tightest hooks, and I plan to alter it in the future, but I have not done so yet.

This bra is GORGEOUS. It really lives up to the price--it looks and feels very luxurious. The cup material is firm embroidered mesh, no stretch at all. I love the little details--the beautiful jade color, almost iridescent, the unique embroidery, the gore tassel, and the pleated tulle trim. The band is VERY soft and comfortable, especially along the underwire/right ... under my boobs where a lot of bands often give my somewhat sensitive skin trouble. My one quibble would be the scalloping along the cup edge--even though the top edge seam is perfectly flat, the scallops do not lie flat, which is visually unappealing both with and without a shirt on.

The wires are quite narrow. It has a very good immediate projection--I still have a teensy bit of empty space right at the bottom, but it's better than most other bras I've tried on. The center gore lays nice and flat on me. Its lower than the Lily, but not a true plunge--I love this as I find higher balconette gores to be a bit stabby sometimes, but I fall out of plunges. I would say it's fairly open on top, but without letting my escape artists go wandering--I don't have any cutting in or quad-boob, or extra room, and it feels very secure. The straps are half adjustable, which is plenty for me.

The shape is nice and round, but minimized and lower, not quite so up-front and center like the Lily. The embroidery is quite thick, and would be visible under a thin, smooth, fitted shirt, but I can tolerate it under the looser slubbed tees I usually wear (see photo).

This bra and my other Lejaby bra (the Mosaique, which is very similar) are my current favorite bras in my entire collection--even given the price and the loose bands--they are SO comfortable, and they fit great. I'll definitely be stalking other bras from this brand to see if some other cuts work on me too--I'd love to try some of their moulded bras.
