Recently picked this up at a local boutique. I wanted to get properly fitted after losing some weight. I think this is the best fitting bra I have ever owned.
This is probably the worst fitting bra I have ever worn.
There is NO projection in the cups. None. Because of this, the underwires quickly migrated out of my IMF & sat on my lower breast tissue. I wore this bra one time (only for a few hours) & I was aware of how uncomfortable it was the whole time. My coworkers probably thought I was nuts from the way I was yanking and readjusting this thing during my entire shift. Needless to say, the gore is far from tacking!
The details are beautiful, but it's a definite no for me. Boob-hat central. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
I was sold this bra at an expensive European only lingerie boutique when I first started looking for a bra that fit and did not trust myself to fit myself. It is the only lingerie store in my town selling bras outside the matrix. I was not educated enough when I went in. Although this EU70E (UK32DD) is a huge step up from my 36As, now that I do have bras that fit I am very unhappy with it and especially unhappy with the price I paid for it. I also just found out while adding this bra that EU E is the largest cup size sold by ...this brand, so they were just fitting me into what was available instead of what I needed.
Fit issues: This bra is just too small. It isn't wide enough. I spill out of the sides. I quadboob out of the top. The gore doesn't tack (although it was way closer than anything I had ever seen up to that point). The cups aren't projected enough so they fold at the bottom. My very pronounced tail of spence sticks out of the sides in a more pronounced way in this bra than any other bra. It's better than anything I had before, but not worth what I paid for it.
Construction issues: This is a convertible bra. You can convert it to a halter and a cross-back. This is pretty cool. Unfortunately, the little hooky things where you make it cross are constantly popping out of their loops, especially while I'm trying to put it on. It's very hard to reattach something at your shoulder blade. Additionally, there are these stupid little bows with beads on the tail that are very irritating right where the straps attach to the top of the cups. They stick out of sleeveless tops. The band is VERY stretchy.
As a t-shirt style bra, I don't think it's worth the expense. Read more 213 more words
Bought this bra (and the same in blue) just before I found out it was the wrong size completely.
I think it looks lovely, with very fine detailed embroidery and very pretty straps. The band is very stretchy and looks a bit thin to me now that I got used to the sturdiness of the bras from Ewa Michalak.
Lovely looking bra. Beautiful deep dark blue color and fine embroidery. Pretty straps as well. Unfortunately completely the wrong size, but I only found out after the band was altered by the seamstress of the store, when the cups appeared to be too small. After that incident, I found out about the bra matrix. And as my true size is about 60G-60GG, it is safe to say that 70E does not fit https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" />
The band is altered very nicely. It was shortened and a smooth black fabric has been sewed onto it, so that it is more comfortable to wear tight as it distributes the pressure along the whole band, instead of just the elastic rims. Before altering, the material of the band was a bit too thin and stretchy for my taste.
