This bra is SO sexy. I love the straps and the jet black colour makes me feel like a Bond girl. The material is great too. It's not itchy or wrinkly or uncomfortable in any way. The straps are nice and thick, too. Besides the fact that is so very the wrong size, the only thing about it is that I felt like the band was SUPER stretchy, but maybe some people like that.
This bra is gorgeous and I love it despite the slightly ill fit. The band is too loose which is okay by me because I have smallish, firm boobs that don't need overly much support. The cups are also a bit too small, but because of my firm boobs this just results in some extra pushup as opposed to a quad boob effect. Overall I am happy with this bra, I wish it came in my actual size but due to its quality and beauty I can't really complain. If it wasn't such a nice bra I would probably alter the band smaller but I am too afraid of ruining its integrity...
Looks really cool under low cut (both in front and back) tops. I find that Marlies Dekkers is good quality, and a great design. Sadly this bra is far to big in the band. The decorative strappy-thingys however started looking "used" by the stitchings after just one handwash and very few wears https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
I have had this bra for years and still get butterflies in my stomach just looking at it. I purchased this bra in a major case of bra-lust. I love the little straps above the cups and the cut out straps in the band. The whole thing is just beautiful and hot. But since this bra is not my size, I've never worn it.
I think this is one of my well fitting bras - although I fitted and bought it when I was 4 kg lighter last spring - and currently I feel that the band is just tad too tight. On the other hand these haven't been worn too much, there is a chance that it will still stretch (but sturdy one this is) - and I'm usually at my heaviest at this time of the year.
Marlies Dekkers bras are absolutely well constructed, good materials and nice finishes - never mind the awesome designs with strap details. This particular model is one of my favorites, stylewise. The size range is ...relatively good, too, the bands range from 65 to 90 and cups from A to G.
+ Quality construction and materials + Sturdy, does not stretch easily + Overall style + Good support + Gives very nice, neutral cleavage and beautifully shaped breasts + Fits rather well to low hanging breasts and the straps are long enough - but can be worn higher, too + Crossing straps are unusual, but quite useful under racerbacks - which I love + The nice strap detail can even be left on display purposefully
- The band could be slightly sturdier and wider, especially from the back - It can be a bit fiddly to put on - Does not fit to every occasion or every outfit (on the other hand - which bra does) Read more 120 more words
This is a bra that I just had to own regardless whether it fit me or not. Needless to say...it has never fit and never will no matter how many times I take it out of the drawer and admire it. I might have a bit of a "my precious" thing going on with this bra. I haven't done more than try this bra on a few times. It is a beautiful bra but as to the fit....it is nowhere near my size so the fit is accordingly poor. Putting this bra on can be a little tricky with the extra straps, but the contrast between the light pink cups and the black chest straps/decoration is striking. Now if only I had a magic bra wizard so I could wear it
Ahaha, amazingly beautiful!! I completely understand --I have the MD Lisbeth (google image search if you haven't see them *drool*) in 34C. Both the black *and* the red. To put that in context, I wear 32E in Chantelle and Simone Perele. Not as glaring a size difference as yours, but I do still find myself with some red mark action at end of day.
I don't care though: I will wear them till they break, or till someone pries them out of my cold, dead hands. ;P
