You know what? This bra is actually pretty great. I have been pretty loyal to Polish bras the last couple of years, and I wear Ewa Michalak every single day. However, I got a chance to get this bra, and I couldn't believe it -- the shape and fit is very similar to that of my 70J - Ewa Michalak ยป Chp Brzoskwinka (301)! Sure, the gore is slightly different and sits on top of my tissue instead of separating it, but other than that, it's pretty close. The upfront, rounded shape is nearly identical. There is a great amount of projection at the bottom of the cups, which is awesome. It only has 2 hooks, but the comfy padded straps nearly make up for it. This shade (sepia) is a great nude for my pinkish-pale skin, although I don't know how well the raspberry trim would disappear (it is really pretty, though.) Overall, it's a really lovely bra that feels comfy and gives an awesome shape.
had this bra for about 2 weeks now and kept forgetting to enter it in and return it, oops! ordered 2 sizes on amazon to see if either would work since both were cheap and returnable, and neither did. i think i will have to up and admit defeat on orla https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> as pretty as it is, it seems like it will never work for me.
first things first: DAMN. this band is tight! it *just* goes to 32, and i needed a full extender to even get it on. even with the extender, it was very snug, and the gore dug in ...painfully. this is probably partly due to the height, and party to the tightness. i would suggest ordering a band size up from whatever you wear, at least one.
its hard to gauge everything else because of how poorly the band fit, because using the extender skewed the straps so far. even in the right band size, the straps on orla are *very* wide. the cups gapes a little on me here, but im guessing more so because of the band having to be made so much longer by the extender. the cups are 6 inches wide in this size, which is a bit too wide for me. appearance wise, the plum color is gorgeous. This review is about the black colorway. I like that it is all black, including bits of black lace on the top and bottom (if it must have lace), but the heart-shaped charm on the gore with the fake diamond should be removed, along with the gore bow. Why that seems to be required is beyond me.
The gore does not tack completely on me, but I also don't fill the cups entirely. It's a little bit too big on the larger breast, and at least a cup size too big on the smaller side. It seems to be a soft gore which causes the non-tacking as pushing it flat didn't result in any overspill.
The band was too tight for me; I had to wear it with an extender.
Update: I tried to wear it once, but it is too high under the arms for me.
This is a gorgeous bra, but the shape of the cups just does not work for me at all. The way they're cut at the top, plus the lace overlay, means that i have a very distinct bra-line, which doesn't work for me.
This bra is simply too small and shallow for me. There's not enough depth so my boobs try to escape out of the sides!! I think this would fit someone with even fullness who is a bit more shallow than I am. It's a super cute bra, but not for me.
Great bra, I have owned Delphi's for a long time, it's one of the few bras I try to buy right away when my size changes. The straps are padded and they are soooo comfortable, I wish all my straps felt that God. Excellent projection for a half cup.
Oh god, this bra is goregeous. I usually wear a 32H/30HH, but due to how Basques do, this size does end up working. The shape it gives, both to my breasts and my belly, is flattering and sexy. Getting it on isn't as big of a pain as anticipated, since it's relatively stretchy. The straps are wide and wideset, which for me is really nice, and this shape gives extra lift and support to the bust. Probably due to the size discrepancy, the boning underneath the cups tends to be distorted, but it's not that big of an issue and likely wouldn't be a problem at all if I was in a slightly more accurate size. The aesthetic of the basque itself is refined and sexy. 10/10 would use to seduce James Bond
The bra is gorgeous, and has a unique and beautiful taupe color that would work well as a 'nude' bra for my pale skin. The band is quite firm, holding true to other Masquerade bras I've tried in the past. I am currently in between a 32 and 34 band, and this 34 fits well on me. The cups are TTS, and hold in my breast tissue securely. The wires, shockingly, are not too wide. I usually have issues with non-Polish bras and their wires, but the Delphi wires aren't obnoxiously wide like most Panache bras. The cups are very, very open on top. I have FoT breasts, ...and still had to tighten the straps a bit to close in the cup more to get the best fit. My biggest issue with this is the 2 hook closure. WHY with the 2 hooks???? Even though it's gorgeous, and fits basically perfectly in every other way, I just don't feel secure enough with only 2 hooks. The best part of this bra, without doubt, is the padded straps. They feel amazingly comfortable. If you can get over the 2 hook issue, this is a superb bra, and lives up to superior Masquerade standards. Read more 94 more words
Absolutely stunning. Dark plum with gold accents. Decent projection, firm band, very similar to other masquerades, but this is a pretty much full coverage bra, instead of the half cup I was hoping for.
I love the shape Masquarade balconnet bras give - very uplifted and rounded. Rosetti is quite thick hence cup edge line might show through clothing but not to the level that it would start to concern me. Rosetti straps are soft and comfy, also band is very comfy. I wore this bra to death despite gore being to wide for me and not sitting flat on my sternum. For very long time it was my favourite everyday bra, until i got hold of EM bras https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The band has stretched lightly but still very good on tightest hooks. Straps unfortunately are not as comfy on worn out bra as they tend to get in roll nowadays, i guess it just means that its time for a new bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
Unfortunately, the cups are way too tall for my short rooted boobs, and it seems a size big on me, so a lot of gaping. And, because of the cup height, my breast apex does not fall at the apex of this bra.
I think this would do well for someone with a lot of upper fullness who still needs substantial projection. It is light enough it would work as a fancy nude bra with most things.
Surprisingly this bra's band isn't very comfortable, I can't exactly pinpoint what is wrong but I think it may be that the band isn't stretchy at all, and tends to rid up on me. The cups fit okay...a little on the small side but overall not too bad.
I absolutely love this bra, it's gorgeous. Unfortunately it's a cup too large. This bra would be fantastic for upper fullness and projected breasts. This bra gives a fantastic shape and I would highly recommend it.
Received pre-loved, so the band may be stretched from wear. I am going to have it altered so that the band is shortened and the straps are angled closer to the clasp in the back. It is, of course, gorgeous. The sepia w/raspberry color way is lovely. The lace overlay and embroidery would be lumpy under thin or tight fabrics. The cups are just a bit wider set than usual, but fine for me. A more narrow torso would have a problem. The compromise between my larger and smaller sides is acceptable since the top is so open. I have a bit of orange in a glass, but I ...am so used to more that it doesn't even count. Padded, wide-set straps are pretty and comfy but would be problematic for those with slimmer shoulders and under most tank tops. The clasp only has 2 hooks, which is ridiculous when it's supposed to carry the weight of GG's. It does, but I don't know how, and it would be far more balanced looking with 3 or 4. The band, as on the Rhea, is the only real weakness. The satin wings are nice, but not built for longevity. (Thus my need to alter/repair all of mine.) If the satin had been reinforced by a powermesh, this would not be an issue and the cost of these bras would be more justified. Read more 120 more words
This is about the antique colorway, which I'd describe as mauve. The bra has a similar fit to the black version which I've also reviewed, except the cups seem a little bit less too big on me. I'm not sure if this is accurate or mere perception.
Beautifu beautiful bra which fits me better than the Delphi of the same size. The band is stretchier,t he sides are lower and the gore lies flat. I also think that the straps are less far appart.
However, I don't fill the top of the cup well and the edge stands up straight over my boobs, which makes it unwearable. It's so beautiful though that you could probably let it show under a low cut dress and people wil think it's part of the dress.
Looking up Rhea's sizes and reading reviews, I accidentally touched the 'dislike' / vote down on this review (damn you, tablet touchscreen).
