This is not a bra for my splayed FoB boobs, but I am experimenting on it. When I tried it on, it occurred to me that if I changed where the strap attached to the cup, moving it in a bit, it would not only make the straps narrower, it would tighten the top of the cup. So I moved the straps in an inch on each side, and now there is no gapping on top. I am still trying to figure out what to do about the sides, since they are now even wider, but since my sewing machine went on strike after I moved the straps, I have some time to develop a plan. The cups are still too shallow at the outer bottom, but for some reason they don't seem to push the bra down out of my IMF, instead pushing my boobs in towards the middle. Since I am pretty splayed, I still don't fall out, but I'm sure someone with closer placement at the bottom would escape out the middle.
I love the cut of this bra and it is just so pretty and sooo comfortable! Unfortunately this is one of the bras I wasted money on when I didn't know what my correct size was and ordered it online. I think it would fit great if I had the right size, but my only gripe about the style is how thin and stretchy the back band is. I wish they had made it more supportive. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I think it would work well for someone who needs wider/shallower cups.
I love a lot of things about this bra. It is made from gorgeous fabrics and has great hardware. The blue is deep and silky. It fit well when I was wearing a 38e. It has nice narrow and low cups which I have a hard time finding. (I wore it when I was smaller, and so my fit comments are for a 40f wearing a 38e bra.)
The cup fits on my larger left breast. I can adjust, swoop, scoop and jiggle in the morning and it stays put for most of my SAHM day. I fit it on the center hook, which is not entirely ideal, but 200 bras in, this is the first one that worked in every other way. I like the cup shape but they are a touch deep for me....seems that's almost always the case.
This bra runs tight in the band and large in the cup, so definitely size up a band and down a cup! My regular size is 36FF, and the 38E fits, the underwires are just a tad too narrow for me.
I love this bra by the way it looks, but it just doesn't fit me. I got it as a present so I couldn't return it, so it's been just sitting in my closet ever since.
The center fits fine and the cups are big enough when breasts are scooped in, but the sides are the problem. When I lift my hands couple of times, the breast tissue slides from the cups to the sides, causing bulges on the sides and empty top on the cups.
The straps are way too thin for my taste and I feel the metal rings digging into my shoulder blades even when the straps are correctly adjusted. If the straps were any looser, they'd fall off my shoulders all the time.
I think I need to stay away from Masquerade bras, since the underwires are way too short, and cause the breast tissue escape from the side.
