This bra, affectionately dubbed “Smokey,” is the oldest bra I own still in my regular rotation. It has managed to work for me for years, despite my fluctuating sizes, due to it being very stretchy and very forgiving. A year after getting this bra, I ordered three more in different colorways (mint, white, and red). It has definitely come to fit me better overall as time has gone on, due to my now taking a larger band size than I did in my 26:10 days and earlier. The cups, as well as the band, have tons of room to stretch, yet remain firm while they do ... so thanks to the ribbed nature of their fabric. The band does ride up just a tad, but I can’t tell if this is due to the bra’s age or not. I’ve taken this bra caving, hiking, biking, jogging, and exploring all over — I definitely wish it were more supportive and gave me a better profile, but it has never let me down yet. Not to mention this being one of my three everyday bras, meaning it has been worn consistently for the last 7 years, though there have been occasional hiatuses from use, it has always remained top-drawer staple.
I have never found another bra that is so easily convertible, so comfortable to wear, and so good at keeping my boobs in place. Nothing cuts or digs into my body anywhere, and the cups have a nice ribbing at the bottom, the gore, and the sides that does a good job of keeping everything in the cup. The straps have seams at the front and the back which can be itchy when this bra is new, but I covered those in a small strip of medical tape until they softened up on their own in the wash and were no longer an issue — other than that, there is nothing at all on this bra that itches, pokes, or prods. It’s adjustable in the back as well as the straps, which combined with the stretchiness of the cup allows this bra to fit a wide range of sizes and shapes. This is legitimately the only bra I have found that I can forget I am wearing. The fabric can feel a little warm in the summer months and doesn’t wick sweat very well, but it is antimicrobial and can sit in a gym bag for a week without smelling, not to mention it is pretty much impossible to sweat stain — it really doesn’t look like its been worn for 7 years. Super duper durable — for a long time I didn’t know you were supposed to put bras in a protective bag when machine washing them, so this bra got pulled and yanked around and survived: you can abuse this bra without fear.
