This is the first Mimi Holliday bra that I have seen that has cotton fabric on the front. It is not great quality but is a nice pale peach colour. For alterations, I cut out the padded liner and reattached it to give more projection at the bottom, added a cookie at the base of each cup, and tightened the cotton fabric along the top of the cup - darting it into the gore to avoid lateral gaping of the cup. These alterations give a rounded look on top and on the bottom. Comfort level is high all day long. Should be a cooler bra for the summer.
Colour and fabric wise this is a lovely bra and I found co-ordinating undies that are perfect. The cups fit excellently with a good swoop and scoop. What I do not like about this bra is the proportions. The straps are wide set, so with the combination of short cups and those wide straps it makes for an unpleasing balance on my torso. I had noticed this in pictures from other bratabasers but had dismissed this concern thinking that I would move the straps. I did move the straps and it did look better but then there was uncomfortable rubbing at the underarm area that I did not accustom to. I did not want to do major adjustments as my sewing skills are not up for that challenge. I moved the straps back as remains pretty and very comfortable. I, personally, would not get the same style unless it had lace at the top to balance the shape out.
It was one of the first two fitted bras I ordered and kept. It fit me really well as long as I was a 30C, and it was very comfortable and gave my boobs a nice shape. I never really wore it much, though, because I wanted to "save" it (because I liked it so much). Silly of me - now my boobs have become bigger and it doesn't fit me any more! It hasn't stretched out, but then again I haven't worn it often enough to say if it would with regular wear. It feels nice, because it's partly made of silk.
