Very pretty bra i found very cheaply in TK Maxx clearance. 32 band is firm but comfortable. The cups seem quite tall on me but i am short. Doesn't give much lift or a brilliant shape but it's not meant for everyday use. It's more of a special occasion/sexy bra. The matching briefs are lovely.
Super cute bra! Unfortunately, the band is too big for me despite running small. The cups are made of very thick fabric layers, so it gives the appearance of gaping, even though its not really doing that. A 30DD would probably look better on me.
I am normally a huge Mimi Holliday fan but this one just didn't quite fit. Both the straps and band were weirdly long in my usual 32 (I had the straps fully tightened and they were still a bit loose), and the cups in my usual DD gape very slightly near the gore on my smaller side, I think the balconette style isn't as good on me as the brand's plunge and moulded styles. I got it at a heavy discount and the colour and fabric are fabulous so I may keep it, but compared to my other Mimis it's a bit ... meh.
Another excellent fit for my wide-rooted, shallow breasts from Mimi Holliday. This was the first time I'd tried their shoulder bra style, which I was a bit dubious about at first (seemed like it would be very "covered up", also less strap adjustment space) but it's actually very flattering and supportive, plus the lacy bits can look cute over the neckline of an off-shoulder top. It is also very, VERY bright green.
Lovely bra for shallow/wide-rooted girls. Extremely flattering and comfortable, perfect fit for me in this size. Fabric is gorgeous - zingy bright pink silk!
My love affair with Mimi Holliday plunge bras continues! This is an extremely comfortable, flattering bra for those of us who are shallow/wide-rooted. It's quite low-cut but doesn't gape/spill, there's enough light padding to avoid nippliness and give a nice shape, the colour and fabric are BEAUTIFUL.
This may be the first bra ever to give my shallow, wide-rooted, sort-of-pointing-at-my-armpits boobs Actual Proper Cleavage. The novelty! Admittedly it does so via a *shedload* of padding underneath and some serious uplift that pretty much hoists everything up and forward. Probably more padded/HELLO HERE ARE MY BOOBS than I would wear every day (despite the name) but will be great for low cut dresses (or if I feel like frightening my coworkers).
Cup fabric is nice smooth microfibre with a cotton lining, there's a bit of lace trim, also a little metal heart decoration on one strap that I may remove. Extremely comfortable. I would say the band is true to size/small (but stretchy) and the cups run shallow and maybe a bit small, if I was even a little bigger I'd need an E.
This is an absolutely gorgeous bra that I bought completely on impulse, and I now want to own pretty much the entire Mimi Holliday range. I'm quite shallow/wide rooted and the cups are *perfect*. It's incredibly comfortable (wore it all day on first wear and no problems), looks great, and the fabric is BEAUTIFUL.
If I have any quibble with it it's that I think it might be even more flattering if it was a little lower (the older model Super Plunges are lower cut/don't have as much lace above the top of the actual cup) but that's a minor detail. LOVE.
Nordstrom didn't have any Mimi Holliday bras in my usual 30F or any 30 bands, for that matter. Even online Nordstrom doesn't have Mimi Holliday bras in 30 bands. I tried a 32DD in the Padded Super Plunge Shoulder Bra. As expected, the band was not snug, and the wires weren't nearly wide enough. It is, however, a gorgeous, adorable bra. From the marketing photos, I would never have expected to like it.
I loved how low cut it was. I don't know if it would be as skimpy coverage in my correct size, but I'm now curious. The satin cups were very soft, and the lace wasn't scratchy. According to the Damaris website, the Baby Cakes bra has these sizes: 28B-28F, 30B-FF. 32A-32F, 34A-34E, 36A-36DD, 38B-38D and 40B-40C
I would probably try the 30FF. I avoid white bras, though, because I wear so many dark tops.
I love this bra! Too bad it doesn't really fit https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> But! This bra was the first clue (which I ignored for a while) that I've been wearing the wrong bra size since forever! I bought this bra on a whim (it was on clearance!) Even though I said "Hmm, DD? There's no way that would fit me! I'm too small!" I also looked at the widths of the cups and like how wide they were and decided to try it on anyway. I was surprised at how it looked and figured "Wow this fits me -- maybe the label was a ...mistake??" Now bear in mind that I have been running around in anywhere from a 32C to a 36B. I liked to wear this bra when I wanted to show off my breasts because the plunge style really pushed them up there. It was also more comfortable than most of my other (crappily sized) bras because the underwire actually ran far back under my armpit. But, as it turns out, not far enough! Only recently I have learned, much to my amazement, that I have been putting on bras TOTALLY WRONG. This led me to go back and try on all my old bras, and use the scoop and swoop method to fit them right. Well, you can guess what happened: my cups runneth over, and for the first time I noticed what was armpit fat still ran over the sides! The armpit thing, that was always a problem for me, though. The other thing, which happened with a lot of bras for me, is that the straps were pretty useless in that they would either slip off OR dig into my shoulder -- no happy medium there! It's a shame because I really like this bra! I would like to try it out in either a 30/32FF or 30G though. I just love the silk materials used and I find it to be a very sexy bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 234 more words
