Profile: even-to-full on bottom breasts, splayed, narrow, projected, short roots.
This bra is gorgeous, although the cobalt colourway was not as saturated as I had expected it to be. I still love it very much and looks very good on my skintone as a muted royal blue. Construction feels sturdy and high quality. I have to say that the material doesn't feel as high quality as my older Paige bras, but it's better than most full-bust brands.
I agree that this bra fits a full cup bigger. All of the Miss Mandalay bras I've owned tend to be small in the band as well, so this fits more like a ...28F on me. The wires are one of the most narrow I've ever tried and at least in this colourway, I find that the cups of this are rather deep too. This bra fits narrower and deeper than my Paige bras do, although the Paiges are an older style. This bra is deeper and narrower than the Freya plunges. The ribbon cuts in a bit, so it's not for those who are fuller on top. The shape is naturally rounded. Read more 80 more words
At this point I have other bras that fit me better and that I like more. But, I still really like this. The band, straps, and wires are all comfortable for me. I have zero complaints about this bra except that it's more of a 30E than a DD.
I do have one rave though. The color! It's so pretty! I love blues and a cobalt blue is so fun. It's why I really want the Comexim Sapphire, but I've seen a few of those that are more purple. This isn't, it's electric.
I will say that the ribbon edge on the Paris doesn't seem like the best quality. It's fraying where it connects to the straps. It hasn't interfered with fit yet, more annoying to look at than anything else at this point. But, I feel like it shouldn't be happening. The bra isn't that old and it's well cared for, so what's up, Paris?
I saw this bra on mega mega sale a while back from somewhere I wouldn't be able to return it to, and after reading heaps of reviews I was pretty comfortable taking the punt. Overall I'm glad I did.
The Good: The band runs really small - I need a small 28 band, and this 30 fits snugly on the middle hooks. This is a plus for me! The wires are really narrow too, and there's good projection at the wire. I think the cups run a bit big, as it's a perfect fit for my larger side (more of a 28F) whereas the top of the cup wrinkles ...a bit on my small side (more of a 28DD/E.) I love the bright pink colour, weirdly enough. The quality is superb and the support is great.
The Bad: The gore is pretty high, and a little too wide for me. I find it rides up onto my bigger boob and also digs into my sternum. I wouldn't want to be any fuller on top than I am (even fullness all over, trending towards FoT,) as the ribbon at the cup edge isn't elasticated and definitely digs in a little. The wires are a bit hard for me, but for a bigger cup size I'm sure they'd be a bonus.
The Ugly: I don't wear this bra as often as I should because I'm not a super fan of unlined styles. I'm too lazy to bother with silicone nipple covers. This is just personal weirdness, and not a reflection on the bra. Read more 150 more words
This bra would be best suited to even shapes with average width. However I slightly modified the cups by taking in the top portion so now it fits me fairly well. It's slightly too wide on my smaller side, since I'm quite narrow. However this bra has great immediate projection, which works well for my FOB shape.
Overall I'd recommend this bra to anyone who needs some projection. It's pretty, comfortable, and works well for FOB to even (if you don't mind a bit of alterations)
Quality: On the whole, great. There's a couple slightly frayed, semi-finished edges (mostly where the wire channels end) but this is a previously owned bra so I'll take it. On the whole the fabric is light but supportive, firm but not aggressive, double-layered in all the right places, and super soft. Really wide, sturdy elastic throughout. Definitely one to hand-wash. Comfort: Good! My only fitting issue is a little light wrinkling and some slight cutting in at the top of the cups - def a bra for projected shapes who don't mind their bras very closed on top. Otherwise, soft, sturdy, supportive, and pleasant to wear - only ...minimal hoisting and tugging necessary throughout the day. On the whole, I'd say that fit-wise, this bra runs slightly snug in the band and perhaps a sliver big in the cup - I wear a 30E in Fantasie and this 30DD fit me pretty freakin' well. Appearance: The pink and purple are surprisingly non-garish but keep in mind there's a bunch of goddamn purple bows all over this thing and they are perhaps needlessly visible under camisoles and the like (though the seams on the cups disappear really well under a tight shirt). Your boobs are front-and-center in this bra.
IDEAL USES: Rococo-era pouting, summer croquet games, being carried about on a sedan chair, looking good in a fancy dress KEY AESTHETICS: Marie Antoinette Meets Virgin Suicides, General Sofia Coppola-ery, Slutty Bennett Sister Read more 133 more words
I loved the pattern of this bikini, and I found it in my size for 25euros only, so I tried it.
The fit is bad on me. Maybe a 30E or a 32 D or DD can fit better but I don't have a lot of hopes...
Wires are too narrow and some of my side boob is outside the cup, the elastics on the cleavage area dig in my breasts, but don't look like a real quadraboob. The deep seems good, and the band too. My breasts are more squised than lifted up.
In 30DD, the pieces of fabrics are too small for the pattern's drawings, all the curves are cutted too quickly, so the bikini in this size isn't as beautiful as the promotional photo.
The quality is good for a 20-35 euros bikini top, but it don't worth the 60 euros original price at all !
I didn't want to keep it and send it back (to asos, if you are interested https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> )
Gorgeous on you! Thanks for comparing this model to Paige.
