I don't think it makes sense to measure/set fit for this bra the way one typically might, due to it being a compression sports bra, but here's the lowdown:
QUALITY: I have two of these bras, and have had them for over two years now. I use them mostly for high-impact sports stuff - trail running, lifting, etc - but before I found a way to affordably get real bras in my size, or even had an inkling what my size was, I used these as my everyday bras. Even with daily wear for like a year, they haven't failed, and I still wear them on the first hook. ...The elastic is still snug and the fabric is still compressing, although the tendency toward monoboob has increased over the years. One small gripe: on the website you'll see it claimed that these have "moulded cups" which is not true - there's a nice inner lining with space for each boob, but they aren't moulded by any definition. COMFORT/FIT: Minimizing, compressing, suprisingly comfortable, utterly locked n loaded. Technically, Moving Comfort offers between 30 and 40 in band sizes but only A-E in cups, but as a 30F, the 30DD works fine for me (and I like a very firm band). So people with 28 bands and cup sizes up to a G who aren't into the Freya/Panache wired sports bras might give this one a spin. APPEARANCE: At a time when my boobs were a big source of stress - I didn't know how to find bras to fit them, I didn't know what size I was, I thought I was some kind of strange monster for not fitting into the foam-laden 32Ds VS folks insisted were my size - these bras allowed me to just put my tits on lockdown and pretend like it wasn't a problem, and for that, I thank them. Aside from the tendency toward monoboob these can give after a while, they're super compressive and let you feel hella athletically shaped when you're doing your deadlifts or cruisin' through your local running trail. IDEAL USES: high impact sporting, or low-impact sporting if you like a lot of support - I've done tons of bouncy stuff in these, from running to trampoline jumping to rock-hopping, and experienced virtually no boob-jarring KEY AESTHETICS: Womens' Rugby Chic, Dirty Hiker Kid, That Mom Who Is Perpetually Ready For Yoga Read more 288 more words
This bra does the job. Like lots of sports bras, the band's quite tight for a 32; it actually stays put on my 28-inch back, yay! I expect to get several years out of it before it becomes unwearable. My older Maia bra has stretched to the point where it feels just like my normal 32-band bras (i.e. it rides up over the course of the day), but I'm still using it. My new Maia keeps everything perfectly in place. The cups fit me very snugly, just barely enclosing all my breast tissue. I feel slightly compressed but not restricted wearing it. And the high neckline means I don't have to worry about slipping out with vigorous movement.
Works great as a sports bra! Fits a little tight. After about 8 months the hook wire pulled right out of the fabric, so I have to use an even tighter size. Also doesn't look that great under tanks, I only wear this under shirts.
This is an encapsulation style sports bra. The color is a very springy light mint shade with white trim The straps are fantastically plush and comfortable. The structure reminds me of the Natori Power Yogi sports bra, with a few stylistic changes (and no crossable straps). Unfortunately, the cups of this bra run excessively large.
I have short rooted, projected, center heavy, fob/even boobs. I typically wear a 30F in Freya, 65FF in Ewa, and a 32E in Cleo. This bra is too big in the cups. It fit - ish, there was some odd puckering at the top of the cup (probably due to my short roots). ...In this size, it didn't really reduce bouncing at all. I probably could have used it for yoga, but definitely not for running. In addition, the top of the bra came up ridiculously high on my chest. People with more FOT boobs may appreciate this.
I went back to the store and tried on a 32D, which was almost a perfect fit (band is still a little loose, but the cups were perfect). In the 32D (remember, I'm typically a 30F or so, so my sister size is a 32DDD/E, and this is 2 cup sizes down)), there was perfect encapsulation and no bounce.
If your boobs are anything like mine, I would recommend sizing down at least 1 if not 2 cup sizes in this bra. 2 cup sizes down was perfect for me.
Good compression style sports bra. The back has a nice scoop or leotard style. It's wireless, but has a wide, snug fitting band for support. It's double lined in a wicking fabric, keeping you cool. The bra has help up well and hasn't stretched much.
I'd recommend encapsulated sports bras for high impact activity, like running. But this is a good bra for lighter activity, like yoga. My only complaint would be with the velcro straps. If I was doing something like jumping, they would sometimes come undone. Also, these straps are short. I usually have to adjust my straps to be as short as possible, but I kept these straps at their longest.
A very comfortable bra to wear for hours, with soft stretchy fabric that still provide great supports It is a very modest bra and covers a great deal of skin. No scoop neck or v-neck shirts with this one. The cups are unlined and made of a double layer of mesh and a slightly stretchy fabric underneath. Unfortunately, the shape of the cups is somewhat unforgiving, so the cup was tight at the bottom but wrinkled at the top. The straps and back are very comfortable for exercising in or even wearing all day. It uses encapsulation to control breast tissue movement instead of compression. The back is a tight 32. I usually wear a 28, and wear this on the tightest hook and could go smaller.
The 34 D is too big around the ribs (at the furthest in hook, the band is still too big). Sized down the band and up a cup to 32 DD.
Seriously no movement. Well...there is a little but in comparison to the rest of this brand, this particular model has the best high impact no movement. (Personal change room tests).
