My shape: projected teardrop with lots of shallow-boob fit problems like Orange-in-a-Glass because of my super-tall (within a finger's width of my collarbone) and super-wide (almost to my shoulder blades) roots that almost touch on my sternum, but with more immediate projection underneath, and very firm tissue that fights back when smooshed.

This is possibly the softest bra I have ever felt. It's so lovely to touch, I just wanted to pet it instead of putting it on! Sadly, the effect was kind of ruined by the obnoxious tag scratching a welt onto my back, but that could be cut out or might ... even be made better after the first wash. Otherwise, it was super comfortable, with a very narrow center gore (great for me!) and straps that were a little wide-set but not falling off my shoulders or digging into my armpits like some I have tried. The straps ARE narrow, though, and while that is fine for me, it might not be for others, especially larger boobed ladies.
I have to keep reminding myself that Natori bands are stretchy, and that I don't know exactly what that means for my real size because prior to this bra I've been fudging with 32s on the tightest hooks. This one was a little odd, with some visual bulging around the sides that might be noticeable under a clingy top, but nothing uncomfortable. I'm not sure if that indicates that it's too tight or still too loose. Unfortunately, as lovely as this bra was in the comfy gore and cups (which didn't quad on me! Hooray!), it rides down, which either supports the too loose theory or the too tight one (trying to find a smaller circumference), and again, I'm not sure which it is. Either way, the underwires ended up more than a finger's width below the base of my breasts, which is way more scooching than I've had even in the other Natoris that were 32s. It also means that, while comfy, the wires weren't really supporting at all and were, dare I say, too wide??
Overall, I think this is a great bra, and I am stoked that Natori has expanded into some "non-standard" sizes. I'm going to give it a trial run of about an hour on the tightest hooks to see if there's any difference because I do want it to work, but otherwise it will have to go back to the store.

I don't think the riding down has anything to do with how loose or tight the band. This is just a very shallow bra and the bottoms of the cups are too shallow for you.
