This is the most comfortable bra I've ever worn!! It has fantastic support despite seamless foam construction and some stretch material. It gives a very nice, rounded shape, even to my poor deflated mom-boobs. The foam is just thick enough to prevent headlights but thin enough to look natural.
A bra that fits me! I went from wearing a boob hammock (36DD US) to a very comfortable 34G in the Natori Comfort Chic. I am close set, pendulous and have wide roots. I have never tried plunge bras until recently, thinking, with bigger breasts I would just fall out every time I moved. Not so! If you're close set, this might be the best option for you. The fabric is very stretchy so the bra moves with me.We'll see how it holds up over time. I was worried about the narrow straps, but they don't seem to be a problem and they don't fall off my shoulders. The underwires measure 11.25 inches, following the curve, and 6.25 inches straight across. I feel very supported and very good about the profile this bra gives me. I will definitely buy more!
How are you measuring your cup width? That number doesn't seem right.... you "underwire straight" measurement more resembles the cup width.
Good catch, LeProfessor! You're absolutely right. I updated the cup width.
XDD I was like "DAMN THATS ONE WIDE BRA!" Could you imagine a bra with a cup NINE INCHES wide!! I sooo badly want to try Natori's fuller fit or any of Natori's bras....except padded ones. Even though they're cute. I just really dislike padded bras. But the price! The price burns holes in my retina's! lol
Desperation! I tried on a Prima Donna bra that was fabulous, but the ONE bra was $138. Crazy! So, I've actually been looking into sewing my own but have not yet taken the leap.
I think that's why we see so few Prima Donna bras on BtB. Few can afford the price tag, & most aren't wanting to risk a fit fail at that price.
Everything about this bra was wrong for me. It looked kind of cute and comfortable in the pics and I was having one of those moments where I was desperate for a smooth bra that wouldn't show under tshirts. I think I forgot that Natori uses US sizing when I ordered the 34G and the cups were much too small. The straps are wide set at the cups and narrow towards the shoulders. There is graduate padding in the cups for enhanced cleavage which sounded like a good idea in the ad but in reality would work better for smaller boobs. The bra also gave me that east west look.
It is actually cute and most likely very supportive if it fit properly.
Best bra I've found so far. Doesn't chafe my armpit area, gore is comfortable. It has padding along the outer edge of the cup, probably to push the boobs in the center. I have wide set boobs and it works for me. I wish the straps were slightly wider or felt a little more substantial, but I can see it working better this way under certain garments.
Got this from a fitting at a very reputable shop and it was one of my first bras post-pandemic. I hadn't gotten any new bras since 2019 and gained about ten pounds since then. I originally thought this was a good fit, but the gore digs in painfully after about an hour. I sewed it in and overlapped the wires, but that didn't help much because the shape doesn't seem to be right for me. The cups crease near the wire, and I need to pull the bra up during the day or it ends up near my waist. I used to wear Natori successfully years ago but I don't think it works for me any more.
I'm sad this one didn't work out because the style is nice and the strap adjusters have a J-hook. The lace is also flat and isn't visible through any of my shirts. If it works for your shape I'd recommend it as a comfortable everyday bra.
This bra's measurements have been altered
Overlapped gore, which probably removed about 1-2cm of length off of the band.
At first I thought this bra was a good fit for me, but it ended up being a shape mismatch. When I tried it on it was very comfortable and worked well for asymmetry (my left breast is about a full cup size smaller than my right). However, it's too shallow at the wire. After an hour or two of wearing it the gore digs in and the cups fold over/slide down an inch or so. If I wear it for a full day it the underwires leave dark red marks on my skin at the top of the gore.
If it fits your shape I'd definitely recommend it, although to me it's more of a comfort bra. The band is stretchy and doesn't provide a ton of support.
In general, this bra feels flexible through the band and cup. The material is reasonably comfortable despite being lace. Despite not being the best fit for my personal shape, the wires don't painfully dig into my sternum or underarms.
Super soft, stretchy and pretty. I don't like the shape on my body. I would prefer more side support. Pretty consistently with Natori, the cup seems to fit well at the bottom, but gaps at the top. This one also had some slight tissue pushed over the the bra at inner breast. Grabbed a bra extender for the recommended size for comexim. Have come to the conclusion that though this bra is comfortable. I don't like the shape.
I read somewhere that this was called “The Butter Bra”, and I think it has that name for good reason. The material, which is the same on the inside and outside of the cups, is so soft and smooth, and the band is snug and stays in place without feeling like it’s cutting or digging into you. Though it is not a full band, the gore is stable and tacks nicely.
The straps have a pretty kind of lace-like strip of decorative fabric on the front and adjust in the back with metal hardware which stays where you put it but is easy to move when you want to ...adjust.
Though from a technical standpoint the cups are too tall for me and the wires too wide and there is not enough projection at the wire, I don’t even care because the fabric feels so nice and the moulded foam of the cups provides such a gentle and slightly stretchy cushion. It hides my asymmetry and gives a nice shape under clothes. My boobs feel pampered and protected.
My only complaint is that occasionally the top of the cup between the wire and the apex ( strap-cup junction) will decide not to get along with my Tail of Spence on my larger side. It’s not painful, just kind of annoying and seems to happen randomly. It may be related to my cycle but I’m not sure. The straps don’t usually slip much but when the cup is fighting the ToS, then they slip.
I recommend that anyone with horizontally wide roots and shallow tissue try this bra, even if the cups might be too tall. ( I’m 4’11” and have short roots, so they are very tall on me, but someone taller, or with a longer breast base measurement than mine, or with tall roots might find the cups to be the right height for them). This is an attractive and seemingly practical bra. The moulded cups are supportive, despite a "lighter" appearance. I generally like seamed unlined cups, but this does not have the unstructured, dome-like feel of many moulded cups.
I accidentally bought the wrong band size. I loved how it looked. But the band is too loose and the straps are set too wide for me. It may be that the wideness of the strap set is at least partly because it is too large a band size.
I really wanted to like this bra because the fabric is super soft and it seems well constructed. The 32H didn't work because the gore didn't tack and the wires were too low and wide for me. The 34G has similar problems. Additionally, the band isn't tight enough for me.
I spent Super Bowl Sunday bra shopping with my daughter. We live in the 8th largest city in the country yet there are very few non matrix size bra shopping options and none of them have much selection in the 34FF, 34G, 34H range. I tried on at least 15 bras at Nordstrom and left with this Natori and a Passionata Brooklyn.
The Natori Cherry Blossom is an underwire, bandless, plunge t-shirt bra with contour pads and a lace overlay. The adjustable straps have a J hook converter. The gore is .5 tall which is ideal for my close set boobs. It is very soft and comfortable as well as pretty.
It fits in a comfy, minimal support way. I am not sure if I will wear it other than at home or a lazy day because I like a lot more support and lift.
Love the fact that there is padding in the bottom outer quadrant of the cups - usually a hard to fill area for me! I am quadboobing slightly after swoop and scoop, but not enough to be super noticeable under clothing. I would defintely prefer this in a 34GG though. Love the plunge. Super stretchy band is comfortable even through bloat/breastfeeding.
Natori uses US sizing so a 34G is actually a 34F uk (34:6). The next size up would be 34H (34:7) in this brand. They don't make the equivalent of a uk 34GG ( 34:10)
I don't know if you are prone to blocked ducts or mastitis but I know some nursing moms who have found that padding in bras tended to make it worse, especially if the cups were small. I am still nursing but I never wore anything padded so I can't speak from direct experience. I imagine it has to do with the shape and location of the pads. Just thought I'd pass that on!
Thanks for the heads up! I'm pretty far along in my nursing care (the youngest is 18 months) , so I'm not concerned about any nursing side effects at this time. Usually, when nursing an infant, I stick with those sport bralettes. :) So sexy!
Oh good! LOL at the sport bralettes. I could never figure out a workable size in that type of article, so I spent a bundle on Anita Maternity wired nursing bras for the early months both times.
This is a pretty comfortable bra-- really stretchy, so the band is super loose on me. I could fit my whole arm behind the band, for sure. My only major complaint with it is that the straps seem to be particularly wide-set, so I am constantly having them fall off my shoulders. The lace sometimes also pokes out under my collar, so I have to be careful what sort of shirt I wear this bra with.
I LOVE AND MISS THIS BRA... but it doesn't come in small enough a band or big enough a cup. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Too small. Tissue is pushed out from the sides. Wires don't lie flat against sternum; are instead resting on the lower portions of the breasts themselves. Nice, soft color. Feels very delicate and flimsy; I'm afraid to handle it too hard, and I feel like wearing it too much might make it fall apart. Band is pretty stretchy.
How are you measuring your cup width? That number doesn't seem right.... you "underwire straight" measurement more resembles the cup width.
