This colorway is the hot pink with bright yellow/green trim. Cute for a sports bra. Wayyyyy too shallow for me so sizing up in the cup (even if they made a larger one) wouldn't solve it. The underwire isn't anywhere near my boobs and the girls are squished together under the gore. All that being said, it's pretty comfy and controls movement pretty well. The 34ff panache is a surprisingly good fit by comparison. The bands on both are very firm so I took a 34 instead of a 32 which is more typical for me. The bottom of the band folds up but isn't uncomfortable. If it wasn't so far down my chest (consequence of the too-shallow cups) it probably wouldn't happen. I appreciate the almost infinite adjustability of the straps and the 4-hook band.
Interesting color combination. The background for the front of the bra is a coral color. The lace overlay is a semi-saturated jewel-tone medium blue. There is lace all over the cups and extends a small part onto the side band and covers the center gore. Lace is attached along wire and on edge between the strap and the outside wire. It is not attached on the cup surface, but is tacked along the scalloped lace edge on the inner (top) portion of the cups. The back part of the band and the straps are the solid blue with no coral.
Cups are foam padded and ...tall (to me). Straps are convertible in the back, but the fronts are attached. The wire width is wide to me. Wire itself seems sturdy but narrow (in gauge). Band seems stretchy to me. Three-hook closure in color-matched blue. Strap hardware is silver metal. Small gold/brass detail at center gore.
This bra is really comfy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~ Quickie initial impression: Wore it a couple times. It just is not deep enough OR... it's the whole way-too-tall-for-my-boobs thing that requires me to tighten the straps to prevent massive empty space in the tops and effectively cuts down on the projection. The second time I wore it, my boobs actually hurt after I took it off. No good for me.
Needs much taller and/or rounder boobs than I have. Will sell.
~~~~~~~~~~~ Update: It's even more laughably huge on me, now that I've lost more weight/size. I'd consider getting this bra if I could find the right size to fit me, but I suspect that the cups will always be too tall for my very short boobs and upper torso, so that size might not exist.
It's so tall on me, the cups practically reach my shoulders. Read more 188 more words
Unlined and tall gore, but fits very well! I must reiterate that the gore feels really tall on this one and I hope to find a bra that fits as well that's more of a plunge.
This is the Plush in the color Black. Honestly, the fit on this one is pretty good, other than I think I should go down in the band. The cup does not buckle under my arms like the Esteem, but the constant creaking sounds it makes when I move are just too much to deal with. I'm definitely not keeping this one.
This is the nude version of the Esteem. It fits similarly to the black one I also own and reviewed; the cups feel strangely tall under the arms - not the underwire itself, but the edge of the cup between the underwire and bra straps. I wonder if I would benefit from a cup size down, but I worry that the cups might create some quadding at the top of the cup if I go down a size, and I don't think I should go up a band size because despite the nice, firm band, I can fit my whole hand beneath the band, and if I go up a band size I will also be able to stretch it out.
I wonder if I would benefit in sizing down in the cup in this bra. While this particular cup seems to fit, it also feels too tall in that the side of the cup under my arms gets pushed out and folded by my body as I move my arms. The band fits really well, though, and the quality of the bra feels great.
Me: even shaped, slightly FOB, average projection, wide set.
I received this bra from another user who told me that the bra cups are too tall and the band too big. The tallness of the cups is a deal-breaker for me also. It fits like a full-coverage bra on me, which I do not think is how the bra should fit. The cups look goofy on me. They are just too tall.
The band is extremely stretchy, which I don't prefer. I feel like the straps are doing more work than they should be. Although the straps are comfortable, the fit would be so much less terrible if the band were tighter.
The color combination is gorgeous. It's a shame that the shape of this bra is a total disaster. It looks fine under t-shirts at least.
This bra is lovely. The fabric is soft and high in quality. It doesn't fit me at all. I can fit just fine in a Wacoal 34H, but this brand... I've never been able to wear Natori. I think this Natori in an H cup runs more like a DDD in Wacoal or Chantelle. I also think their bands run quite stretchy, so this 34 isn't tight at all. Basically, I can only get this bra around my breasts as a kind of sling. When I swoop and scoop, I have to hold my boobs up in order to show how bad the quad boob is when I ...do that. But my boobs don't stay up in this one, they just fall back down, and the band stretches right back out. Also, I think my boobs are too far apart for Natori bras. So many bra shopping problems would be solved if Natori worked for me, as this brand is easy to find in so many American department stores. Also, the straps are close together and don't fall off! That would be another problem solved.
Regarding "comfort" and "bra appearance," I'm not entirely sure whether I'm supposed to give a sort of overall assessment. The bra is not comfortable and looks very bad on me because it doesn't fit. If it did fit, I'd check excellent on both counts.
Also, I guess bratabase will tell me if my measurements are off, but just in case: I measured this bra down to the lace, which lengthens both the center gore length and the wings. The lace part is not sturdy bra band material, but sort a sheer tulle fabric. Not at all scratchy as I've found bras in similar styles, though.
This bra pushes my breasts down, and out to the sides. My nipples are above the seam, meaning the fullest part of my boob is in the wrong part of the cup, and I have quadboob escaping from strap to gore. Gives me no lift at all. The seam is quite apparent even with two layers (camisole and t-shirt). I have close set, bottom heavy breasts. The gore is pretty good since it is on the shorter side, but the wires are a bit wide and there is not enough projection. Beautiful lace with colorful lining, wish it fit.
Very comfortable and flattering bra. Not the most lift ever, but I don't always want them hoisted to the sky. Lace pattern apparent under tight shirts. I have this in 2 colorways.
This bra was so comfy when I put it on, but it didn't stay comfy. As the lace stretched out over the course of just a couple of hours, the fit changed pretty dramatically. The band is comfortable, but I expect, based on the stretching of the cup, that in a week's time, I'll be on the last set of hooks. The gore was flush and tacked in the fitting room, but by evening, it had lifted off.
