What an odd bra. I like the soft fabric a lot. It just flattens me out in such a weird way, I really don't like how it looks from the side and angle. I think the wires are just too wide and go too far back around the sides. Maybe if they were more curved it would be better. The top digs in after major swoop and scoop and gives some quad boob, didn't get a picture. Definitely returning this one.

Shallow & Projected. I'm not good enough to tell which you are or what's wrong with this bra by looking but if it flattens you you're probably a little more projected than the cup. Natori if I'm not mistaken is for those with more shallow breasts and has really wide wires.

That's what I thought, I'm still figuring out my shape and I was curious to try a shallower cup, too shallow for me

The Natori Statement seems to be a new style, and I couldn't find much information on it before deciding to order it. I had had my eye on it for a long time as I usually love this 3 piece cup construction with side sling, but had no idea how it would fit. The good news is that the fit is spot on and is literally the only Natori bra I've tried that fits true to size. The bad news is that I had to mark this as "doesn't fit" because the sides come up so high under the arms that it's really uncomfortable. ... It is probably also the only Natori bra that has been too painful for me to wear!

The bra is made from gorgeous, soft lace that is a little fancier than Natori's more utilitarian styles, while the band is made from powerful microfiber and actually provides support. If you've read any of my other Natori reviews, you will know that my top complaints regarding Natori bras are the flimsy bands and the shallow cups. This bra is the exception! The styling is really pretty and great for everyday. I really wish this bra had fit me, however . . .

If you take a look at the measurements, you'll find that the underwires on this bra are MASSIVE. A standard 30D in my collection has an underwire around 19-20 cm, while this one comes in at 23.5 cm. That's almost an extra 1.5" of wire, and most of this is under the arms. The cups are nice and wide, which is great for me, but the wires are way too long under the arms. Combined with the extra tall sides, I can't move my arms in this bra without discomfort. There's no way to size down in this bra though, as 30D is the smallest size of the range, and the cups are already pretty shallow on me and fit snugly. The lace cups are lined with mesh, so they can't stretch to accommodate more projection.

Once again, another style from this brand that didn't work for me. In this case though, I have a hard time imagining who this bra would fit, as the cups are shallow but the wires are very tall and deep. Perhaps someone who is taller than me would not find the long wires and tall sides as uncomfortable as me, since I am petite and often do run into the long wire issue. If you can fit this bra, I think it is a beautiful lace option for everyday, and is certainly the most supportive Natori design I've come across.
