This fits and it only cost me $15.95 cad!! You know how I bargain shop people!
My first Nessa. I don't know why it's so cheap! There's nothing wrong with this; it was a brand new bra & I can tell that it's never been tried on. It's just an older style from Nessa. This was bought through Fruugo.ca (the same website is Lingerie-Superstore.com for people in the US); it's probably worldwide on Fruugo, if you have that website in your country (I thought they were worldwide like amazon).
The Band: very interesting b/c it's not like any other Polish brand I've tried on, tbh. Not ...super stretchy, it's firm, I can't tell it's going to last a while. Like the fabric is...stiff, I guess. I stretched it to 29 inches for a 70 band (32 UK). I *could* stretch it farther, but I just give it a gentle stretch, until the wires distort.
Underwires: you know, Nessa (at least this bra) is not that much wider than Gorsenia underwires in the same size. I compared a Gorsenia bra that currently fits me now as well (70I in Gorsenia) The Nessa underwires just slightly go a bit wider towards the armpit than the Gorsenia underwires; the Gorsenia underwires are more U shaped. But I was surprised, somehow I was thinking Nessa underwires would be WIDE, they're not at all. They're not anything like Freya at this size! (I know b/c I currently have a Freya in my possession that I am returning through amazon). They're typical Polish underwires, imo.
The cup: compared to the Freya bra I just tried, the lining in the interior of the cup is soooo much better. It's silky! The Freya cup was so rough and scratchy, and totally see through! The exterior has embroidered fabric. I don't have one embroidered bra, this is my first!
Bra straps: very thick. built for comfort.
Gore: does not seem to bother me but I only wore it for five minutes (I have a scratch on my underarm, so I can't wear a bra currently, until I let it heal) I'll report back if the gore is problematic, but it seems it will be fine.
Immediate projection: you know, it's interesting. I do have some wrinkles under my smaller boob, while my larger one seems to fill out the cup better. I'm not 100% even on both sides (as most women).
Overall feel of the bra: Firm band, I feel like the construction is quality, like typical Polish construction.
I don't know why it is soooo reduced. I can tell it's brand new; it's like it just got stuck in a drawer somewhere at the Mio Destino store, then someone finally found it. ; )
Update: It's hard for me to judge comfort, I've only worn it once. So, I won't comment on comfort at this time. Also, this Dusty Pink colour works well as a "nude" if you have colouring like mine! FYI. Read more 387 more words
Tibi is a bra I’ve had my eye on for years but never bought because I think I was sized out of it originally. It’s slightly different than the typical Nessa brand soft cup bras. I can’t think of how to describe it, but the overall cut and fit are different somehow.
For one thing, it’s an unlined bra made with 1 layer of mesh fabric and no additional support aside from a section of lace on the sides (I’m assuming to act like a “side support panel,” although I think it’s a stretch to call it that.) Because the bra is only 1 layer with no extra ...support, there isn’t a lot of lift or support for the breasts. This bra is officially being deemed “my most boring bra in my set” because it wear so much like a “granny bra” on me. The lack of support leaves a lot to be desired for sure.
The actual appearance of the bra itself is stunning. I’m a big mesh and lace fan, so this has both. The flower lace details on the top of the cups are really nice. There is elastic along the top of the cup, which usually does not agree with my top fullness, and this bra is no exception. Besides the elastic slightly cutting in, the bra fits me well. The band is nice and snug (snugger than my 70J - Nessa » Miya Soft, probably because of black bra syndrome). The straps are slightly difficult to adjust, but I’m sure that will get better with time.
It’s a comfortable bra even though it doesn’t have much support. It’s also pretty full coverage compared to the half cups I’ve been wearing lately, hence again feeling like a boring “granny” bra. It’ll be a nice addition to my regular rotation. Read more 197 more words
I purchased this from Zathiya Lingerie's store closing sale. It's a cup size bigger than my usual size, but as I haven't tried any Nessa bras before, and the price was right, I figured it was worth a shot. My shape: soft tissue, full on bottom, narrow roots/shoulders Appearance: This bra is a really lovely shade of purple. It feels really delicate, but when I was wearing it, I didn't feel like it was going to fall apart or anything. The top half of the cup is one layer of purple mesh lace, and the bottom cup has a matching purple lining on the inside. The straps themselves are quite ...wider than I am used to, but are soft and comfortable. At the gore, there is a tiny purple bow. The band has a set of four three-hook clasps. Fit: The band is stretchier than I like; I usually wear mine on the loosest hook, but right away, I had this on the second to tightest clasp. If you are in between band sizes 32 and 34 inches, I think this would work better, as it will stretch with wear. The cups are wider than what I am used to, as well, though I would love to try a Nessa bra in my actual G (HH) cup size. As usual, the strap placement is wider than my narrow shoulders like, though this might be more of an issue on me with this particular bra because of the larger cup size. Overall, I think this is a well-made, beautiful bra, it just wasn't the right size for me. Read more 156 more words
It is a gorgeous bra! Nessa typically runs larger in the cup compared to other Polish brands. Sizing down is not an uncommon requirement with them.
Oh, so beautiful . . so sad .. . wish I could drop 40 lbs and buy it lol
UGH I know! I wish there had been a different size available; the purple is so pretty! Now I'm on a mission to try more Nessa bras! :)
The purple is gorgeous on you! Thanks for your photos and measurements....Science ;-) ;-)
Love4Pollinators Thanks! I'm not a big purple person, so I'm surprised at how much I liked this color. (My sunburn is... pretty apparent in those pictures hahah! Summer is hell for my pale skin.)
Best wishes this summer! People are puzzled by my long sleeves, hat, and pants when the heat index is 105F+ (108F yesterday), but I burn nearly instantly with the little melanin available in my skin.
I'm right there with you both. I have 3 settings: Burn, Blister, then Peel & turn white. No tans only freckles and sunspots. Thus I avoid the sun like I'm a vampire.
They are in the US but I don't think they actually stock them so it's an order & wait 6-8 weeks for delivery.
And Amazon usually has a few (subsellers in the UK, not Amazon direct.) It's usually a 6 to 8 week wait from those as well.
And of course, even if magdalenahukalowicz doesn't have them listed on Bras4you.com, I am confident she can get you Nessa as well. She is our Polish Goddess!
MamaPagan Oh, good to know! I've actually been emailing her back and forth about getting a lime green Kostar bra made! (I couldn't pass one up once I saw yours, hahah!)
I love the quality and consistency of Nessa’s bras! 🩷
This bra is just as great as all of the other Nessa’s I’ve owned and loved. I had purchased this 75J - Nessa » Juliette Soft because Brastop had it on sale for super cheap, but the band was too big and the cups were also too big. I sized down a band and a cup but it’s still slightly too roomy in the cup, so I think I might need more compression and a shorter cup. I think I’m going to try a 70I next time I order a bra from jagna.pl (because let’s face it, ...I will probably literally put an order in right after I post this haha).
The band on this 70J Miya is almost as stretchy as the band on the 75J Juliette, so it’s super stretchy (either that or the Juliette is snug for a 75). Love the colors on the Miya, it reminds me of a peacock for some reason. This is a very projected bra, so if you’re someone who needs that, check Nessa out. Also, the wires are wider than most Polish bras I’ve tried, so if you’re someone who needs lots of projection AND wider wires, definitely give this brand a try. Read more 106 more words
Yup, I would try 70I. This looks like a close fit though.
Loxus thank you! I have a 70I and a 65J on order. The 65J will probably be too tight in the band, but it’s a style that I’ve owned before and really wanted to buy again, so I’ll deal with an extender lol. Fingers crossed!
"Also, the wires are wider than most Polish bras I’ve tried, so if you’re someone who needs lots of projection AND wider wires, definitely give this brand a try."
Interesting, I never noticed that Nessa has wider wires. Love their bras!
This one's really pretty.
Thank you! Yeah, that’s just a personal observation. I don’t know/think ALL Nessa bras have wider wires than other Polish brands, but so far IME, they do. The wire width on this bra is quite wide, wider than my Ewa Michalak bras and pretty close to the Matilda bra I have (I think…based on memory, not the actual measurements.)
Hey, by the way, you have a few Gorsenia bras, correct? How would you say they compare to Nessa bras and do you know how the sizing works? IIRC, I feel like folks on Reddit said they run a cup size large…so if I wore a Nessa 70I, would I want a 70H Gorsenia?
pretty_promise okay, sorry. I just noticed that you responded to this (sometimes I'm not paying attn to my notifications on the bratabase).
re: Gorsenia.
Everywhere I've read "Gorsenia runs 1-2 cup sizes large" I wear 70I in Gorsenia soft bras. I find 70I is very consistent with Gorsenia.
70J is my correct Nessa size in Nessa soft balconette bras.
I measure abt 32G or 32GG UK, 103 cm bust and 77cm underbust.
Loxus just curious what you think about how this bra looks compared to the 70I Nessa Lea? Earlier when I shared this one you had suggested a 70I, but I’m wondering what your thoughts are now that a comparison can be made. Another user said that the “satin-y” Nessa bras run smaller.
Now that you mention it I think it’s a good size. Looking closer though I think it’s just too narrow because of the bulging above the wire which I believe is breast tissue. If you manually widen the wires I think it’ll fit much better in the cup and encompass the breast tissue in the side. That’s just what I’m observing though.
This is a Polish bra that I got from the online store Jagna.pl I actually got this last Dec. when they were having a sale on Gorsenia; I had previously discovered my size in Nessa ordering 32GG UK from a U.K. store (in Nessa). When I received the bra, it was size 70J EU and all of my future Nessa bras I ordered in this size & they all fit #consistent.
Before I ordered this bra, I read the bratabase reviews and one person said Juliette was "scratchy" but I don't think this bra is scratchy at all! And I have sensitive skin, so IDK. I've not had any issues with Polish brands being scratchy, TBH.
I know some people like to size up in the band in Polish bras, but I just like to have a really firm band, so I just stay with the same band as UK. 32/70 - at least for Nessa! : ) I appreciate the delicate floral embroidery, it's pink & white.
I wish I could have found that bra in that size! I ended up sister sizing to a 34G (75I I guess would be the EU size?) and the band is way too big but the cups are almost perfect, maybe just slightly too big.
ETA- I have it in 75J/34GG, not 75I/34G.
Sorry, blowing up your review comments here, but wow that Jagna website is dangerous!! They ship to the US at a reasonable price and have Nessa AND Kris Line bras available, which are both so difficult to find anywhere online these days. There goes all my money lol! 💸
I know, they're great!
Oh I need to look into this brand! The bra is gorgeous. I would most likely be 75J if I wear UK 34G and need tall/ wide cups for my size.
Bra I bought last winter from the Polish store Jagna.pl when they had their Gorsenia sale; I added a couple more bras that I thought would fit to make the shipping "worth it" for me.
To be honest, I selected this bra because of bratabase reviews. Lol. (I think it must've also been on BraStop). This side support bra has four-part cup construction, which differs from my other Nessa balconette bras. At first I thought this wasn't a good fit, but now I wear this bra all the time! I find it quite comfortable.
It does show some wrinkles here, because the cups are *so deep* but I ...did still mark it as a fit. I don't know if I've gained weight, but the slight wrinkles are not a problem as it still feels supportive. I like the fabric used on the bottom of the cup, it's soft yet durable. As the other review said, the lace on the top of the cup is not as stretchy as some other bras, but not a problem for me at all.
I just check my receipt and the price on Nessa Clarisse was 125.46 zloty (Polish currency last December, so I did buy this is combination with several others, so that the shipping fee would be less per bra (the more you spend, the more you save!)
nessa's soft bras work for me, I read online that they specialize in large-cup soft bras; I you're in N. America and you want to try out Nessa bras, I made a button on reddit (I can't promise it's 100% up to date though) about where to buy, Aphrodite's closet in San Antonio, TX and Broad Lingerie in Toronto. a few other places https://www.reddit.com/r/PolishBras/wiki/brands/nessa/ Obviously, I ordered directly from Poland (I'm in Canada), but I knew exactly what I wanted. So, I would recommend to buy directly from Europe if you already know what works for you, or if you don't mind relisting on Poshmark, bratabase.com/listings, etc. The process was straight forward to order from Jagna.pl, I emailed them what I wanted to include in my order and they emailed me back a link to use PayPal, iirc. This is my 2nd bra-buying adventure from the website Fruugo.ca (which is the same company as Lingerie-Superstore.com, fyi). I decided to purchase this b/c I had such a good fit with my first Nessa bra, Loni, https://www.bratabase.com/bra/dnkpl/ which works really well for me at this size, 32GG UK.
1st of all, let me give you my stats: full-on-bottom, close-set, narrow roots (though now that I've gained weight, I think my roots are wider, it's like my breasts have gotten more fat on the sides). I'm 5'7 with average shoulder width (I think), so usually I'm okay with bra strap placement.
Colour: this same bra ...is for sale on BraStop currently & someone described in as "skin-coloured." IDK, I think it's more gold wrapping paper coloured. It's Christmassy. It might clash with my skin tone slightly, since I have a lot of pink in my skin, but it's not terrible.
Aesthetics: I really enjoy the aesthetics of this bra. I know not everyone likes the lacey bras, but I do! Srsly, when I pulled this out of the box, I was like "ohh" It looked better than I expected. Like so many Polish bras, they're always more impressive in person.
Band: The *only* difference I can tell from Alisa and Loni styles, Alisa has only one layer fabric for the band. As such, I stretched the band *farther* for the "stretched band measurement" for bratabase. So, instead of having the band be too firm the first couple of wears, the band is instantly comfy (for me - I like a tight band though). This means it will probs wear out faster, I image though. I guess I will prefer a really firm band. I've ordered two more Nessa bras so I can compare to those two other ones!!
Cups: If you look closely, the left breast is a little "overflowing" it's almost creating cleavage, and the right breast has a small amt of space at the top of the cup. I still marked the bra as "fitting" because this is the best I can do with asymmetry. Lol. It feels comfy & I don't think it's overwhelmingly too tight or too loose for either cup.
Straps: 10/10! I love this nice thick and firm (yet stretchy) bra straps. Great for comfort - I prefer thick bra straps though. Also, the bra strap placement is a good fit for me, it's not too wide for my shoulders, they rest comfortably and don't fall off.
Fabric: I don't have any issues with the fabric being scratchy and I have quite sensitive skin. Maybe the cups are not as soft as Comexim or Ewa Michalak, but I got this bra for the bargain basement price of $16.95 cad so I am not complaining.
The shipping time was 3+ weeks (Landmark Global) from the U.K. to Canada, but I didn't have to pay duties on this item, so win/win! If you're in Canada and don't want to pay duty fees on Ewa Michalak B.M., I would consider Nessa soft bras a decent alternative to Ewa Michalak soft bras. Though I would probably classify E.M. as a touch more comfortable, Nessa is a very budget-friendly alterative, esp when purchased directly from Europe. Read more 432 more words
This bra fits me very well. The wrinkling on the center gore is normal for me and not an issue. The rest is amazing, the gore tacks, the band is amazing, the cups well set. It has the good and right placed projection for me giving me a Rounded nice shape. The straps are wide set. I don't know yet if that is a dealbreaker but in generall it could be altered. Also they come off very wide (2.2cm). The lace on top is not that stretchy as I am used to at panache envy or ana but it also gives me enough room to fill it without overflow. The asymmetry I have is a little more noticeable yet not a dealbreaker imo. All over a good bra
This is from my shopping trip to Poland! Feel free to send me a message if you want any more info on that. For reference, I believe that I had short, narrow roots with a very projected, omega shape. My ebst Cleo fit is the Meg/ then Marcie/Melissa.
The band is very very snug, more so that Cleo; I will need an extender for a while. I have another Nessa model in a 75 that is too loose, so there's that Polish inconsistency for you =p
I believe the tightness in the band is pulling the straps too tightly under my arm, as I otherwise think that the wings are ...low enough. There is a firm tack and the gore is nicely low. The cups seem a bit shallow at the gore, which contribute to a bit of an east-west-ish effect: while the shape is rounded, it isn't in your face/front and center. The straps are pretty soft and stretchy.
The wires are wide-ish (there seems to be a bit of a outward swoosh towards the end under my armpits) and the projection is pretty good. Not enough for me, but probably for most people would be fine. The "koral" color is a warm salmon-y pink-peach and the embroidery design is fan-like. There is a strip of embroidery along the top edge of the cup that may not make this very forgiving for people with taller roots or more upper fullness. Read more 302 more words
this bra is basically perfect for me (even fullness, projected, narrow roots, wide set.) the only issue i have is the straps are a bit wide for me, and tend to slip often. the bra is a beautiful shade of green, and it is very comfortable and the quality is very good.
That is very lovely, sorry it doesn't fit.
