I never have much luck buying sport bras online, even when I'm not looking for something that will actually uphold my chest during sport (I know I need to do special research for that), but just for something I can wear around the house when I'm lazy. Even the simplest-looking sport bras make shape assumptions that don't hold for me, and I end up with spillage around the sides, or some other weird shape issue. So, I've taken to buying my basic "around the house" sport bras in person, where I can try on everything in the store. Then I end up with bras like this one, where ... I don't know the model - it's not written anywhere on the label - and I can't find it anywhere. It doesn't appear to be sold online, except used, by owners who simply call it "gray New Balance sports bra." It's possible this was made specifically for in-store sale at Marshalls and T.J. Maxx and there is no formal name for it, or way to buy it again once you've randomly found it in the jumble of unsorted sports bras and bayberry candles and giant wooden letter L's and picture frames that say "Today is the best day" and whatever else they sell at Marshalls.

Which is too bad, because it's a shockingly comfortable bra. Certainly, with my rack, I can't wear it for sport, and it doesn't give good uplift, but for around the house, it's tops. It's the one I reach for when I get home after a long day of binding at work. It's not very compressing (which I need when "decompressing" from wearing a binder all day), but it does a good job of hugging the shape of the bosom and getting in under the mammary fold so that you don't get that underboob sweat. (You still get between-boob sweat since there's no cup separation.) It basically lets the breasts lie in their natural configuration, but keeps them still so they don't jiggle or knock around. For my purposes, it was a great find.

It certainly looks cozy... I can see why you reach for it.
