Very nice nightie with a built-in bra. I even thought briefly about cutting the nightue part to get a new bra! Pushes breasts up without padding (magic?) and makes them look very nice and rounded.I I *adore* the thick straps.
Full disclaimer, I got this bra on sale for 9 euros, and it was well worth the 9 euros.
It is a deep plunge, and the lace comes up high almost like a high apex style, however this suits my shape fairly well as I am shallow with tallish roots. I had slight, slight wrinkling at the top, but this was fixed by tightening the straps a tiny bit.
The band is definitely a true 28 - the first couple of wears were very snug and borderline uncomfortable, but now that it has stretched out I can wear it on the last hook very comfortably. The cups also ...fit better than they did since they were distorted, seeming very shallow at first wear, since the band was quite tight.
The wires sit a little low, maybe a fingertips width below my IMF. They also cut into my breast tissue after scoop and swoop, however my breast tissue doesn't stay in this position. That leads me to believe it is a quite shallow bra, as I am already on the shallow end.
I don't know if anyone else would ever find this bra or purposefully buy it, as it was on clearance and seems a little niche, but if you're a quite shallow 28 band, and you see it - go for it! Read more 114 more words
I bought the wrong size, and probably should have gone with a 34G. My boobs fluctuate a bit because I'm nursing, so sometimes I get some overspill and I need to wear an extender for an extra set of hooks to be comfortable. I can close it on the loosest but it's too tight. The shape is pretty nice, rounded and up front but not too up front - I don't love the cakes on a plate look unless I'm wearing something form fitting (and I normally wear looser tops) so I'd rather be a little minimised, personally. Fit is supportive. Wires are too wide for me but not uncomfortably so. I have narrow roots, FOB, soft tissue, splayed breasts. The color is a god nude for my skin tone.
I really want to like this bra (and I do, but not quite enough) but it doesn't fit well enough and there's some flaws to it. It has this really cool construction in the band, it has two 2-inch wide elastics that are firm (yet stretchy) and that provides equal tension throughout the band. AH-MA-ZING! Super-comfy, although it's a little too big for me. I have to hook it on the tightest setting and just one eye tighter would be perfect I believe. They don't do this bra in bands smaller than 32" though. If they did, a 30 would be perfect for me in this.
The underwires are ...crazy wide for a 32F! I've never seen anything like it! Yeah sure, I often have to deal with too wide underwires (almost always) but this is just ridiculous. I couldn't look past it. Another huge flaw is the fact that the underwires are super-springy. I have a picture illustrating this.
I also don't like the way they've attached the band to this bra. It would've been better if they sewed the band on in an angle, that way the band would sit lower. Lots of British bras have this construction and I don't like it. The boning is alright, nothing spectular but it holds up fine.
I think this design has potential because the 2-inch wide elastics are super smart! Such a shame that the execution and grading of it was so terrible... I don't think I could recommend this to anyone, not even those with really wide roots because the underwires are way too springy for anyone, no matter how small or big your bust is.
