This is a really good unmoulded bra! It has flexible wires, conforms to my root breadth and spacing, and very tall cups. This is a great bra if you have tall roots and average projection. My right boob is a little bigger than my left boob and the right cup fits perfectly. My left boob is shallower and has less bottom fullness and immediate projection so there is a tad bit of wrinkling. However, I like my bras to fit perfectly on my bigger boob so this bra is a 10/10.
I love the looks of this bra! It looks great on you.
Gorgeous!!
I love the curve and transition of the cups to the straps! It almost forms a heart , or at least the bottom of the perfect shaped heart that ends on top behind the neck..... It's perfect & looks great on you!! :)
Most comfortable underwire bra I have ever owned. I've worn this a couple times without any comfort issues so I felt confident enough to really put it to the test the other day, primarily by just running around being active all day. I didn't even feel the underwire once until I slept in it! Looks good even under tight clothing and I like how it enhances without being too much padding. The mesh look is nice enough but not the most elegant. The band is a little too loose on me, I'm wearing it on the middle or tightest hook for a better fit which is a bit unfortunate to have to do right out of the box but no chance of sizing down since it doesn't come in a 28 band. I've already bought this in black as well. It might not be perfect but it's my new favorite!
Congratulations on finding a bra that not only fits you so well but is super comfy as well. I love the little crossover at the gore, it adds a nice touch. It does look like a great everyday bra
Thanks you! I'm pretty excited about that. Also, you are right on about it being a great everyday bra.
I went to this web site and i love it jst like you but they dont make in my size. They do come in some very pretty colours though. I like the purple one. If i found a bra that fits as good as this one fits to then i would have bought two as well. I like that you have skin colourway and black, it should cover most tops that you would wear. Good for you. http://www.barenecessities.com/ongossamer-gossamer-mesh-bump-it-up-bra-3201_product.htm?pf_id=OnGossamer3201&cmp=xyz
I'm glad you like this bra! It's great to see reviews of less commonly reviewed brands here :)
Scott I really like the purple as well but it doesn't come in my size. (So it looks like I'm being smart about choosing colors with more versatility but it was that lack of availability that kept me to that choice haha.) I'm sorry it doesn't come in your size at all, I hope you find one even better soon! Saskia_C , Thanks! :)
Awful fit, although comfortable. The cups run 1 size too large and it is immediately too shallow while too projected at the apex. If your size is 30DD and you have a very conical shape this might work.
oh wow that is terrible! It looks like they copied the shape of classic midcentury-style retro pointy bra cups... inappropriately scaled down from a larger cup volume completely ignoring the differences in typical breast shape across size ranges... and then set the cups wayyyy on the sides of the body for good measure whereas the conical shape of the old wireless bras was made to fit very centered.
My search for a bra without underwire will have to continue but this might still be worth checking out for people interested in unwired bras. This bra is the wrong size for me (both too large a band and too small a cup). The band on this feels loose for a 30, I do normally have to take a 30 band to the 2nd or tightest hook to fit me properly but this one doesn't fit even on the tightest hook. The band is not as comfortable as I would have liked and even though there's no boning, the side seam at the edge of the foam is irritatingly pronounced. The cups seem shallow and good for wide-set. The look of the bra itself is simple but nice.
Have you looked into affinitas? They have some wireless options.
I saw the bras that do fit you and it seems that OnGossamer in 30C a better size for you. As for wireless bras, try TOMgirl as they have 30C and even 28D.
Thank you both so much for the suggestions! The Affinitas Allison wireless looks really nice and I'd be all about grabbing that if it came in a smaller band. Saskia_C , I think you are spot on about the 30C being what I should have bought but because of the issues I had with the band I've decided to just look at different models. I hadn't heard of TOMgirl but the fact that they have 28D and a mix of wireless comfy but push-up sounds great. Do you have any experience with them? I'm curious what their cups are like and there doesn't seem to be much info on their site or here. (I would prefer not to have a repeat of the Freya Deco Moulded Soft Cup Bra which just really really wanted to push my breasts down and out the sides.)
This bra is super comfortable. Has stretchy soft spacer foam cups, that are super light weight. The gore is adjustable by twisting to make it narrower if needed, which also makes the cups be able to go up and down which is perfect for me since my breast are set at different heights so the underwire actual almost sits IFM on my higher up and more projected and smaller left breast. Band is comfortable, just the right amount of tight. Cups could fit different size breasts easily, I do get tiny amount of quadding if i stick my chest out, but by far this is not too bad a fit for my conical shape. The tops of the cups do cut into my armpits a tad, but the material is soft enough not to bother me.
I'm slightly full on top, and on some days the cups would cut into me. But it's otherwise comfortable, great quality, and this issue isn't a problem under a thicker top.
Very soft. I really like the criss-cross fabric detail at the gore. The 3 hooks in back were the easiest to hook of the last 12 bras I've tried on in the last month. I was quadding on one side and gaping on the other since I'd nursed recently. I'll size down the band and keep the same cup size to try again.
Recently I've experienced about a cup size increase for unknown reasons, and have found myself needing to replace my molded cup bras for winter with a size up. I've gone from a shallow on top 30D to a more rounded 30DD, so I am mostly looking for more depth in the cups without dramatically increasing cup width or wire length.
I tried many different molded 30DD bras, and found the On Gossamer Sleek Micro T-Shirt bra to be the best fitting option. In my experience, On Gossamer's 30 bands are very TTS, and I really like that the sleek microfiber wings have a high percentage of stretch ...(18% Spandex), which gives the band a nice secure feeling. The wires are a gently curved C shape that is longer on the outside and shorter at the gore. I found them to be the perfect width and didn't press into my bony ribcage painfully, which smaller bands tend to do on me, especially in partial band styles. The cups have a nice amount of projection and aren't too shallow like the BP Undercover and Skarlett Blue bras I've tried. This basically fits like a half cup size larger than my current best fitting bra, the Le Mystere Tisha Evolution in 30D (which fits a half cup size bigger). This is a good style for someone with a rounder shape and needs a bit more projection.
Styling-wise, this bra has a bit more of a plunge shape than a balconette style. The gore is fairly short and features a nice crossover detail. The straps are convertible, and as a result are fully adjustable. This is always an issue for me as I am very petite and in this type of style, the J hook always ends up at the top of my shoulders or even more forward. Luckily, I like the bra enough to shorten the straps on my own. The fabric has a nice cool feel and the upper edge of the cups is bonded for a clean finish. It reminds me of a VS Very Sexy bra I had back in the day, but with nice flexible soft cups rather than heavy padding.
I snagged my first one from Nordstrom and ended up ordering the rest of the colors directly from On Gossamer. Sadly they do not offer all styles in a 30 band, and I would recommend staying away from the nasty 100% nylon styles that will surely stretch out quickly, but overall this brand offers comfortable silhouettes that run true to size and fit well. Highly recommended! Read more 332 more words

I really wish that I had liked this bra, since it gave me an amazing shape. However, despite what the name would suggest, this is a padded push up bra, and I despise padded bras with a deep passion. There's definitely a full inch of padding at the bottom of the cup, so this is a no go for me.
I ordered three of these from Nordstrom Rack as they were a good price. I am pleased that all 3 of them measure and fit quite consistently. I've found consistency to be a pretty good point in On Gossamer bras from other styles as well.
This ...style gives a really nice plunge push up shape, as the name suggests. I really like the little V at the center gore, it adds something that your average molded cup bra doesn't have. It's also a full band construction, which I prefer. The band measures nice and snug and fits comfortably.
However, other than the padding not being for me (or clearly stated in the name), there are two issues with the bra that I want to point out. The main concern is that the bra is made from 100% nylon mesh, so there is no spandex/elastane in the fiber. That means all of the stretch is mechanical stretch from mesh supported by the elastic. Given that nylon is not super sturdy and there's nothing to give the fibers recovery, I would suspect that the longevity of these bras is not good.
The second issue is that this bra isn't designed for support. The elastic used in the band is rather thin, as are the straps, so the elastic will also most likely wear out quickly. I could already tell that the brand new bra didn't give much support other than the thick foam cups holding me up. Over time, this will certainly degrade more than other bras. The styling is beautiful and delicate, with lace trim and an interesting paneled design on the wings. The straps give a doubled satin effect based on the novelty elastic used. However, like many bras on the market, this bra is designed to look pretty for a short period of time, rather than be supportive and hold up over time. It's cheap and cheerful and gives a nice shape, but that's about it. Read more 292 more words

Best fitting bra I had before I got fitted correctly; unfortunately it's padded. It's a huge band, in order to get the A cups with a wide & broad base. Then I sew the band smaller. The elastic is degrading, and needs to be sewn again.
Cup seems to fit my breasts pretty well. The issue is that the underwire comes down too steeply from the outside edge, leaving space on the bottom unfilled, and then it swerves up too soon causing the gore to rest on my breast tissue (I can fit two fingers on top of each other between it and my sternum). If I push the gore down, the cup seems a little two small, causing minor quad boob. Also, I'm a 28 band and this bra only went down to a 32, so obviously the band was too loose. The straps just barely adjust short enough. I like the feel of it, though, despite its issues.
This bra is very lightweight and comfortable. I'm not sure if t-shirt bras just work better for my shape or if they're just more forgiving of minor fit issues, but of my order of 5 bras from Amazon, this was the only one that fit the way I liked and the only t-shirt bra in the order.
The band is very stretchy and thus definitely too big, so I will be altering it (I'm just going to sew a running stitch along the elastic). The wires seem a tad too narrow, but the marks left by the bra say that it just skates by on the edge of ...my root.
The gore is made of several layers of soft mesh, so it's very comfortable and it can be easily twisted so that the cups sit in each other without being flipped inside out. (I like doing this for storage reasons. All my old ill-fitting bras could do this, which I miss.) There's a tiny edge of lace along the inside edge of the cup. I find that I always have to smooth it back down after swooping and scooping. The lace is comfy; I don't even notice it.
I really like the convertible nature of the straps and that there's an extra slot if you want wider straps or a wider racerback. The cups are lined with a mesh layer over it. Unlike the Natori Feathers, the mesh is part the cup. I only noticed that it was a separate layer when I saw that a hair had made its way underneath.
The cup cuts into me just the tiniest bit due to my tall roots, but it's very minor and fits great otherwise on my wide, shallow roots.
The OnGossamer tag was itchy sometimes, but it was pretty minor. The band itself is one bit stretchy mesh and looks rather fragile and easy to snag. It may not be; time will tell.
Update: I sewed a ribbon onto most of the bottom elastic, leaving maybe 1.25-ish inches left. The reduced stretch was something like 28.5 inches. It still felt way comfortable and easy to breathe in on the loosest hooks. The band is just that stretchy. I can't hook it tighter, which is good, but I can't imagine the band stretching out because there's basically nothing left to stretch out, it's so stretchy. The running stitches were no good; they popped in several places over the course of the day. The ribbon held up fine. Read more 306 more words
Tried this bra out for about an hour. My underbust measurement is approx. 30 6/8 inches and I bought it in a size 32D. I sized up a band size because I have a couple crappy MaidenForm bras in a 30 band and they strangle the life out of me. But this bra band was too loose. The strap rides up about 1/2" in the back after a while and the front gore moves up about 6/8" when I raise my arms. Despite that, the cups fit pretty well with only a tiny amount of spillage on my larger breast when I breathe in or sit up ...real straight. I'd say the straps are pretty wide set, but I have narrow shoulders ~15". The bra is very comfortable (moreso if it fit) but somewhat flimsy on the sides which are just sheer mesh. The cups aren't overly thick, but the downside is that the shape they give isn't very perky. It's invisible under clothes and very prettily designed. I would try it again if I could find it in a 30DD.
I bought this bra last year when I was down to one bra that fit and I was desperate for a spare. I had never worn a bra with tulle sides before. The tulle fabric is way too stretchy to be supportive, and I had to move the band to the tightest hook after just a couple of weeks of ownership. The plunge cups are not my favorite shape to wear, either. They're fine if you're standing up straight, but as soon as I bend down or move my arms a lot, they bunch and even gape open at the top even though the bottom of the cup seemed to fit fine. There's also a metal hook on the back of one of the straps that can be used to convert into an x-back, but when it's not being used for that, it digs into my skin uncomfortably.
In short, it's a very pretty bra, but too flimsy to be very supportive and not the best cup shape for me.
I love the looks of this bra! It looks great on you.
