This bra has such a tight band. It only stretches to 26"!!!! If you have a 35-38" overbust and need an underbust of 26-28" band, then this is the bra for you! I have a 30/32" underbust, and while I could fit the bra on, I could barely move or breathe, but the overbust felt fine.... It is wonderful soft 95% organic cotton. I only tried on and washed per instructions. Here is the listing: http://bra.pe/GEoq/
My well-intentioned but bra-uninformed mom got me this bralette for my birthday. According to the size chart, S fits a 34 A-C and it is true to size. Unfortunately as my usual size is 26FF, my boobs only got several seconds of nipple coverage before promptly falling out the bottom 😅 Thank goodness it is returnable.
Beyond the fit disaster, it is an ok lounge bralette, but not what I would prefer even if it fit. The fabric is a super soft organic cotton knit with stretch lace hanging down from the band. I love the cotton knit, but the lace, while soft, would be sensory hell for ...me to wear for a whole day. I'm sure it would be fine for people who are otherwise ok with wearing lace bras, though, it is softer than most bra lace I've felt. The cups have pockets with removable molded foam cups. There are no clasps on the band, it is put on by pulling over only. The straps aren't fully adjustable - the front part that goes over the chest and shoulders is a a softer cottony feeling fabric with a bit of cushion and the adjustable part lower on the back is regular flat bra strap material. They are a bit thin for my comfort preference. Read more 108 more words
Oh! I actually really like this one… but I can’t wear it on its own either due to the fit. I’m around the same size as you but the band is ridiculously huge. I use it as a layering piece during the winter… I wear it over another unpadded bralette with a tighter band when I work from home, and the effect looks like I’m wearing a normal t-shirt bra.
But seriously, what were they thinking when they came up with the sizing?!
