    Hasn't set fit

    The backlog continues...

Tried this beauty on when I was visiting a friend in Vancouver this past spring. My husband had to go over to record a podcast, so I tagged along and spent the afternoon with my friend. Among things, I tried a bunch of bras and this one was one of the better ones.

It's very beautiful and I love the colour and lace details on the straps. At the time, I had felt like it might not have had enough projection at the wire, but looking at the pictures, it seems like maybe it's more projected than I had thought. I feel like I the gore was low enough, and my soft tissue was contained fairly well.

I had some puffing in the 30E but the 30F was better. The band felt fine, especially after trying some really tight 30s.

If I ever saw this one at a really good price, I would probably try to grab it. This could be the bra for off the shoulders tops...https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />

Ardour is very very pretty bra and the colour looks great on you!

    • 1

That is lovely and looks great on you. I love the straps.

    • Wilderness1 here is the Ardour which is the same as Porcelain Grace iirc but fancier.

    • 1

Very pretty. I’m not a huge fan of that wide got though. I would be overlapping that bad boy.

    • 1

Calluna, oh yes I see...it is very similar, but this one has prettier straps. I love the colour, it looks really nice on your skin tone.

    • 1

      Gorgeous!

    • 1

That certainly is one of the nicest and most projected molded cup bras I have seen.
I think you got this bad boy now you'd have alot more cleavage! XD

And I totally agree cupandahalf wide gores are the number one reason why I don't purchase a bra these days!

    • 1

Love this colour. The purple is very rich and it looks great on you!

    • Thanks everyone. It's been on my mind to try again ever since then. I feel like I was in a hurry to try stuff and disqualified it pretty fast because I was so sure that it was slipping out of my imf.

    Didn't fit

For reference I'm about a 32FF in Cleo.

I bought this bra in a 32FF and a 34F, as I read the previous line (Masquerade) ran tight in the band. However, I would say this bra runs a little generous in the band and cup. I didn't even try on the 34F, as the 32FF band was plenty stretchy (I could easily fasten it on the second hooks). Only three rows of two hooks, sadly. I always prefer a three hook band.

I do get some gaping, but that's to be expected for a molded cup.

The tops of the cups, where they attach to ... the straps, do cut into my underarms a bit, but not terribly so.

This bra is invisible under a t-shirt.

The lace on the straps and band is very pretty, but it does flip up at the front of the band for me (because of my ribs/stomach/bad posture).

I did notice that the underwires don't match up where they meet the gore, one is shorter than the other. I've never had a bra do this, and I'm certainly surprised to see it on a $79 bra like this one. Not that big of a deal, but a little disappointing quality for the price.

The wire width is perfect, and after wearing it a few hours it did stay in my IMF. I'd say this is a great option for a t-shirt bra for projected and fairly narrow shapes.

I'll be trying this bra in a 30FF and 30G.

    Didn't fit

This is the best bra I've found to fit my FOB / immediately projected breasts. All of my bras in the past have had wrinkling by the wire due to my immediate projection and this is no different, though it's minimal (the wrinkling starts ~0.75" from the wire; in other bras, it can be much higher). The straps occasionally slip down but are not often a problem (note that with the lace detail, they are pretty wide). The bra is usually comfortable, but can sometimes cause pain around my ribs after wearing the bra for many hours. The biggest negative: one of the cups has started to curve ... out a bit at the top, so the cup doesn't sit completely flush on my skin. I've only ever handwashed my bras and always store them safely when traveling so I'm not certain why this happened.

BTW: The reason this bra is marked as not fitting is because my boobs have shrunk since purchasing this bra and the cups are now too big on me. I can still wear the bra and it looks fine under clothing, but there is significant space between my breasts and the top of the cups. I assume that if I sized down to a 30F, the bra would fit me just fine.

My shape is low set, slightly pendulous, and short and narrow rooted.

This bra came to me pre-loved but in mint condition from rachaelll (thanks). The colour is dark pink and reminds me of 65FF - Ewa Michalak » Chp Red Wine that I used to own. There is decorative lace along the front of the straps, and along the band to the clasps. The only thing is, the lace on the straps like to fold over on itself, so you have to flatten it (at least I did). The band measures to a true 30" band, but it doesn't feel overly stretchy... ... probably because of the lace that covers the band. The straps adjust long enough on my tall frame, but they are extended all the way out in the back. The shape is lovely and rounded, but obviously too small on me. (I think I had a growth spurt because the last 3 I tried were all too small). I'll save this one for my "low tide" days and for when I lose 5 pounds again. It is very reminiscent of my 30F - Panache » Porcelain Grace Sweetheart Moulded Bra (7371) . The only real difference I could see from measurements was that this ardour cup is shorter by about 0.5cm. It's a molded cup that lays smoothly and looks good under a tee, but it is slightly shallow. I actually think that the panache porcelain grace might be a little bit more projected at the wire, which may be why I can currently wear it without bubbling over (that and the additional height of the cup).

Overall the bra is great quality, great comfort, shallow, and pretty.

It’s so beautiful. I tried a very purple one last year. I’m sure I would have to size up too. It fit me then but I’m larger now.

    • 2

Yeah I think you'd definitely have to size up right now Calluna . I could use a bigger size right now too, but I'm gonna hold onto this one for now anyways, because I think it would fit well if I was a bit smaller... and I fluctuate sometimes depending on my weight, so there's no point in getting rid of it.

    • 2

Backup bras for rainy days is always a good thing! It saves a lot of heartache (and backache, & breast-ache) during size changes instead of having to wait for new ones to show up.

    • 2

MamaPagan exactly! I've sold off a few bras I now regret getting rid of because I would have fit them now! Grrr. Hindsight is 50/50 as they say.

    • 2

Wilderness1 it is the same here...I kind of wish I still had my 30FF Bardot now.

    • 1

Always keep a one size valiant stash on hand! You will thank yourself later. :-D

I tried a version of this a few weeks ago in a deep purple colour. I have no idea which variation it was...Masquerade, Black, or straight Panache. I had mixed feelings about it. At the time, I felt like maybe it’s a bit shallow and is slipping, but my pictures definitely show some depth to it. It’s such a beautiful bra. If I can find it in my size at a reasonable price, I might try it again.

This bra is wonderful and impressive on so many levels: wonderfully low wings, silky soft beautiful fabric, and great projection. As other reviewer's said, the band does run large and stretchy. I would encourage anyone in a large cups size to try this. This bra fits me leaps and bounds better than any other molded cup I've tried. Unfortunately, its just a wee bit small on my right side. This isn't super noticeable in pictures, but under shirts the quad boob is clearly visible. I'd try the next size up, but as a g cup is as large as this comes, I'd have to sister size up and alter the band, which seems like too much hassle at this point, and for a $79 bra.

I am FOB with non-immediate projection and this is the best-fitting bra I own. I'm so sad it was discontinued as I would buy it forever. The lace on the straps is really cute as well (I hate boring straps). Only downside is they still tend to slip down, but that's been an issue with literally every bra I've ever had (I have a 26" ribcage and small shoulders so that may be why).

I’m center-full, close-set, and fuller on top, and my breats keep escaping the center and top of the cup, giving a quadraboob effect. Other than that, it’s pretty comfy and good-looking, if it weren’t for the quadraboob it gives me which shows under certain tops

    Fits

This is the closest I've ever come to finding a moulded bra that actually fits. Much better than the Deco, which has been my go-to for a long time, and I was astonished by how comfortable this was. The projection is almost immediate enough, and it keeps the breasts front and center (where mine naturally want to be). It's also closed enough on top to prevent gaping even when I relax my shoulders, but not so closed it cuts in on my tall root tissue. I think I'm right on the line of needing a 32GG instead of 32G - no quadboob or anything but some of the ... tissue wants to sneak towards the armpits and if I really scrape the swoop and scoop in the gore won't tack - I'd try going up a size if they made the GG size :/. There's all sorts of small details that make this 1) really pretty in a simple way, with lace scalloping, a dangling rinestone, ornamented straps, and 2) comfortable, like the carefully tacked down and overlapped strap anchor points which keep it from cutting in at the armpits.

Not good for those less full on top. Seems to fit full on bottom well and there's no spilling on the sides.
The cups are very shaped a certain way so they aren't forgiving like a stretchy Unlined bra would be
