Tried this beauty on when I was visiting a friend in Vancouver this past spring. My husband had to go over to record a podcast, so I tagged along and spent the afternoon with my friend. Among things, I tried a bunch of bras and this one was one of the better ones.
It's very beautiful and I love the colour and lace details on the straps. At the time, I had felt like it might not have had enough projection at the wire, but looking at the pictures, it seems like maybe it's more projected than I had thought. I feel like I the gore was low enough, and my soft tissue was contained fairly well.
I had some puffing in the 30E but the 30F was better. The band felt fine, especially after trying some really tight 30s.
If I ever saw this one at a really good price, I would probably try to grab it. This could be the bra for off the shoulders tops...https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />
Ardour is very very pretty bra and the colour looks great on you!
That is lovely and looks great on you. I love the straps.
Wilderness1 here is the Ardour which is the same as Porcelain Grace iirc but fancier.
Very pretty. I’m not a huge fan of that wide got though. I would be overlapping that bad boy.
Calluna, oh yes I see...it is very similar, but this one has prettier straps. I love the colour, it looks really nice on your skin tone.
Gorgeous!
That certainly is one of the nicest and most projected molded cup bras I have seen. I think you got this bad boy now you'd have alot more cleavage! XD
And I totally agree cupandahalf wide gores are the number one reason why I don't purchase a bra these days!
Love this colour. The purple is very rich and it looks great on you!
Thanks everyone. It's been on my mind to try again ever since then. I feel like I was in a hurry to try stuff and disqualified it pretty fast because I was so sure that it was slipping out of my imf.
My shape is low set, slightly pendulous, and short and narrow rooted.
This bra came to me pre-loved but in mint condition from rachaelll (thanks). The colour is dark pink and reminds me of 65FF - Ewa Michalak » Chp Red Wine that I used to own. There is decorative lace along the front of the straps, and along the band to the clasps. The only thing is, the lace on the straps like to fold over on itself, so you have to flatten it (at least I did). The band measures to a true 30" band, but it doesn't feel overly stretchy... ...probably because of the lace that covers the band. The straps adjust long enough on my tall frame, but they are extended all the way out in the back. The shape is lovely and rounded, but obviously too small on me. (I think I had a growth spurt because the last 3 I tried were all too small). I'll save this one for my "low tide" days and for when I lose 5 pounds again. It is very reminiscent of my 30F - Panache » Porcelain Grace Sweetheart Moulded Bra (7371) . The only real difference I could see from measurements was that this ardour cup is shorter by about 0.5cm. It's a molded cup that lays smoothly and looks good under a tee, but it is slightly shallow. I actually think that the panache porcelain grace might be a little bit more projected at the wire, which may be why I can currently wear it without bubbling over (that and the additional height of the cup).
Overall the bra is great quality, great comfort, shallow, and pretty. Read more 180 more words
It’s so beautiful. I tried a very purple one last year. I’m sure I would have to size up too. It fit me then but I’m larger now.
Yeah I think you'd definitely have to size up right now Calluna . I could use a bigger size right now too, but I'm gonna hold onto this one for now anyways, because I think it would fit well if I was a bit smaller... and I fluctuate sometimes depending on my weight, so there's no point in getting rid of it.
Backup bras for rainy days is always a good thing! It saves a lot of heartache (and backache, & breast-ache) during size changes instead of having to wait for new ones to show up.
MamaPagan exactly! I've sold off a few bras I now regret getting rid of because I would have fit them now! Grrr. Hindsight is 50/50 as they say.
Wilderness1 it is the same here...I kind of wish I still had my 30FF Bardot now.
Always keep a one size valiant stash on hand! You will thank yourself later. :-D
I tried a version of this a few weeks ago in a deep purple colour. I have no idea which variation it was...Masquerade, Black, or straight Panache. I had mixed feelings about it. At the time, I felt like maybe it’s a bit shallow and is slipping, but my pictures definitely show some depth to it. It’s such a beautiful bra. If I can find it in my size at a reasonable price, I might try it again.
This bra is gorgeous, it looks so sophisticated! The cups are super stretchy, accomodating up to 11.5" of depth. I think it fits more like a 30FF. This bra would fit if: A. The cups were more projected at the wire. B. The band was tighter. C. The gore was narrower and D. the top line of the cup didn't cut in. I get the slightest bit of quadding, but it isn't noticeable.
This bra is electric pink - it is vibrant! The colour and lace detailing on the straps and band are extremely beautiful. This really looks like a luxury bra.
As far as moulded bras go, this might be the most narrow and projected that I have tried. The wires were not obnoxiously wide (Freya Idol - I'm looking at you) and there is a decent amount of immediate projection. The cups were quite a match-up for my shape - I'm very FOT, so moulded bras can be really hit or miss. For someone who is more even, or FOB, this would be a great option for a fun t-shirt bra.
Very soft, silky fabric on the outside of the cups, feels lovely to touch. The wings are lined with the same material. Good depth and projection for my averagely projected, tallish boobs but I had a bit of quadboobing and would fit better in a 30FF. The lace on the front of the straps is very pretty and not at all scratchy. I found it very comfortable and sometimes forgot I had it on.
Ardour is very very pretty bra and the colour looks great on you!
