This is the best bra I've found to fit my FOB / immediately projected breasts. All of my bras in the past have had wrinkling by the wire due to my immediate projection and this is no different, though it's minimal (the wrinkling starts ~0.75" from the wire; in other bras, it can be much higher). The straps occasionally slip down but are not often a problem (note that with the lace detail, they are pretty wide). The bra is usually comfortable, but can sometimes cause pain around my ribs after wearing the bra for many hours. The biggest negative: one of the cups has started to curve ...out a bit at the top, so the cup doesn't sit completely flush on my skin. I've only ever handwashed my bras and always store them safely when traveling so I'm not certain why this happened.
BTW: The reason this bra is marked as not fitting is because my boobs have shrunk since purchasing this bra and the cups are now too big on me. I can still wear the bra and it looks fine under clothing, but there is significant space between my breasts and the top of the cups. I was delightfully surprised to discover that this molded bra actually has enough immediate projection for me! I gave up on molded bras after trying so so many that were too shallow at the bottom, gave charming orange in a glass effect and ballooned at the top with unfilled fabric, or squished me flat into boob-pancakes. I like a lifted, rounded shape, and my girls come straight out of my ribcage like they are on a platter. The Odette delivers the shape, no squish, and no orange in a glass; there is a little unfilled fabric at the top by the straps but not too much. The band ...is comfortably firm and doesn't seem like it will stretch out , the fabric is silky, and the gold animal pattern is woven in (in pix it looks printed on - its not). Construction and fabrics are overall high quality. The straps are very thin & stretchy though, so its a good thing the band and cups are supportive. There is also a little gapping right at the gore, but I do not have center fullness although I am very close-set. At least Odette doesn't cut in there like other molded bras and plunges sometimes do. I can live with the gore gap and it doesn't show under clothes. The inner edge of the cups turns out a little, and that is visible under knits, but I think that is endemic to molded bras; might try to tighten the straps and see if it goes away. I'm so impressed by this bra. I thought there could never be a molded bra that fit me. Well, this bra proves that you can make a molded bra with depth! It gives me a wonderfully round, globe-like shape. The ombre leopard is very pretty and the bra looks quite luxe.
The straps are set quite far so it does hurt a bit there. Also this band stretches to a bit more than 32 so probably sister size down.
By far the best fit I've come across in a molded bra! Excellent immediate and center projection, medium-narrow wire width, and wonderfully silky, low wings. Very high comfort feel and lovely naturally-rounded side profile. Also love the thinner straps for a more discrete look under a tank top. I'm not usually a fan of animal prints on bras, but Odette is surprisingly elegant and understated in person... very much along the lines of the old Masquerade brand in quality. The only caveat is that the band (like the straps) is on the stretchy side, so a 28G would probably be optimal for me, if Panache produced that size in this bra! Still, I think Odette will be an excellent t-shirt staple for me.
If I hadn't fallen hopelessly in love with Bali 3488, this bra would be a great staple. The immediate projection, for a molded bra, is excellent. This is the first molded bra that is both short enough and immediately projected enough for my breasts. The shape is similar to Ewa Michalak S: it is centered and lifted. However, this molded cup has more immediate projection than E.M. S and Comexim Plunge. Good to know if you need immediately projected cups.
The wings are low and a pleasant height for my petite frame.

The straps are a major detraction from what otherwise is a thoughtfully designed bra. Stretchy straps and heavy breasts are not a supportive combination. If you have self-supporting breasts, you may be happy. If I were keeping this bra, I would replace the straps.
The band elastic is not what I had hoped. It feels thin and flimsy; like it would loose elasticity quickly. Obviously, I will not own this bra long enough to discover the band longevity.
After removing this bra, I wore a Wacoal How Perfect Wireless bra. Instantly, I was reminded that comfort is most important to me. Wires bite.

I was super excited to get this bra after I got the 30FF - Panache Black ยป Odette Sweetheart Moulded Bra (7851) . The Odette fit me almost perfect, so the fact that this was a liiiittle bit off disappointed me a bit. It's a bit taller so there's a little gape on top for me when I move, but it's not much of a problem. It's extremely smooth so it's invisible under clothing. The scalloped lace on the band and straps is very nice and makes it look much more interesting than a plain molded bra. The band is definitely very stretchy, I'm usually a ...32 and this 30 fits right. I would recommend sister sizing down. Upon first wear, it was quite comfortable, but under the band in the front my skin was starting to get quite red, so I imagine there's a little less immediate projection than the Odette and this would start to get uncomfortable in that area if I wore it longer. The color is quite light beige. Overall, if you're in need of a projected molded bra, I would recommend the Odette over this one for the shape, but if you need plain beige I would say this is the best in that color that's out there. I sized down as the 32 band was too stretchy. I would recommend sizing down in the band if you're between sizes.
Sadly I'm between sizes in this bra. The 30FF is a tiny bit too small in the cups, and the 30G is too big in the cups. I can make the 30FF work if I just don't scoop and swoop super vigorously on my larger breast.
But that isn't the main issue...
This bra seriously breaks my heart. It would be the perfect seamless bra for me (the only one I've found that's projected and narrow ...enough), except for the straps. I don't think they're too short. I do have them as long as they'll go, but they're not really cutting in. It's just the placement of the adjustment hardware is in the worst spot for me. These straps are only half adjustable (UGH), so the adjusters rest on spots that are painful. I don't know if they're resting on bone or what, but they really hurt.
I really hate to return this bra. It's so nearly perfect, but it's just too painful to wear. I'll probably try and track down the old Masquerade version to see if it fits any different. Read more 107 more words
