I like this bra. This is the first sports bra that I've ever owned, and I decided that it was time to invest in one. So far, I've been using this as a yoga/around-the-house/sleeping bra. I'm excited that I'll finally have something appropriate for dance classes once I can afford to take those again.
The bra fits really well, except that the center gore is a little wide and a little high for my close set breasts,,, This is why I usually wear nothing but plunge bras. They fit my shape the best... Anyways, as a result, the center gore of this sports bra can sometimes become a little irritating/itchy with a lot of movement.
However, this isn't super noticeable and is offset by the fact that I get such great support in this thing. I just feel really secure. No jiggling because the bra covers the entire breast area. Cups are true to size and the band is nice and firm. This also gives a really nice shape under a shirt.
This underwired Sports Bra is the one I reach for when I'm going to the gym or know that I'm going to be out jogging for a while.
The center gore is designed to lay flat against the sternum but I find the 28GG is a compromise fit for my shape: it cuts in a little bit near my underarms (where I'm not filling out the side cup really well) but doesn't quite lay flat at the center (where my boobs are full/soft).
The 28 band is a tight fit but I would say only a little bit tighter than other 28s from Panache - just want you want ...in a sports bra. I also wear this in a 30G which is a bit more comfortable at first but isn't quite as supportive/bounce reducing when running.
The thing I like the most about it is that it doesn't push my breasts outward, and actually the shape is very flattering. Definitely wear this one as outerwear. I own it in three colours: Grey, Purple and Black and wear and love the Grey the most. It looks awesome with a white tank thrown over the top and goes with all kinds of base colours on my bottom half. Then again I tend to wear a lot of black, navy, blue and pink exercise wear.
It's the best underwired Sports bra I've tried. However I don't find it gives quite the same comfort and freedom of movement as my soft cup sports bras. I would say this is the best "gym" bra I own and it's the most comfortable to wear post-workout because the underwires and even drenched in sweat everything is separated and held in place.
One quibble on quality: I wash my sports gear with med/hot water (for hygiene) and the metallic Panache Sport logo on the front center bra band peeled off within 2 washes.
Also - running while wearing the back in its racerback configuration gave me shoulder and neck pain twinges. When worn normal bra-strap style it's absolutely fine. Love the racerback option and hope to see something this nifty in other bras, but I wouldn't use it in this sports bra.
As per usual, panache makes the best small-band and comparatively large cup sports bras I know of. This thing is amazing for high impact activity. My boobs do not move in this bra. The straps are also pretty closely spsced so they don't chafe my armpits.
Sonya do these fit large in the cup? My shock absorbers's elastic is starting to go. I'm not planning on buy my next sports bra just yet, but am considering the panache wired sports bra since I've heard good things about it. I have a 30FF shock absorber that I wear now. Have you ever tried the shock absorber? How would you compare these two? Does the panache keep boobs from bouncing with jumping motions?
I did find it to fit big and was sizing down a cup size. With my recent weight gain, I have a bit more upper fullness and am finding it more TTS. They are tall and require some upper fullness. I haven't tried the Shock Absorber, sorry, but if you have a nice snug fit in this bra, it really holds you in place firmly- pretty much no bouncing at all.
ok. Maybe I'll see if I can find one with free return shipping. I don't really have upper fullness, so I might not need something so tall, but I'd still like to try it at some point. Thanks
Hello is very good the size on you .howdo you feel with white bra ? I never wear I am afraid a little
maraki- White isn't normally my first choice either. I already have some staining on this one from coloured fabrics. However, it was the least expensive colourway I could find at the time.
It was good price? Iam think of this .the wash is t th he problem
Yes- I believe I got it for $55 Canadian on Amazon, so no shipping fee either. It's normally $80+ here.
I buying in black.i can’t find it in my size, did you look in UK? Stores I believe is cheaper

When I first tried on this bra, it felt very strange. Though it appeared to fit (gore tacked, etc) it felt....off and not very supportive. However, after wearing it around the house a few times it started feeling better. I took it out for a run and rock climbing yesterday, and I believe I have found my first ever properly supportive sports bra.
The bra itself is very solidly constructed, as Panache bras frequently are, and includes great details like soft cushy padded straps with mesh coverings, a racerback clip adapter and foamy covers for the underwires.
I'm not quite sure how to feel about this bra yet. It fits comfortably... offers more support than any other sports bra I've owned (but then again up to this point I've only had cheap sports bras that are 32/34 band and not made for large cup sizes, so I don't have a lot to compare it to. However I feel that it flattens my boobs a bit, pressing them down causing a minimizing effect, and pushing them close together more than I'd like (slight case of uniboob). But what really turns me off is the pointy shaped cups... my breasts have a more round spherical shape, and ...the pointy cups just look awkward. I've only worn it once so maybe once its "broken in" the pointy boob effect will be less noticeable. Overall I'm happy because it does offer great support, and fits very comfortably. I just wish that the shape of the cups was more rounded and less pointy.
Pros- comfortably great support fits band perfectly love the racer-back hook option
Cons- pointy shaped cups flattens/compresses/minimizes breasts pushes boobs together a bit too much Read more 71 more words
I am not sure what to think yet... The bra itself fits, somewhat. I feel like it does push my boobs together a bit more than it should, and flattens them... but more than anything I think its the shape of the cups being pointy. My breasts are naturally round and the pointy cups just fit awkwardly.
First impressions, comfortable and looks good under clothes. Gives a great shape, no pointy boobs. I sized down 1 cupsize, which is a touch small, but my normal cupsize probably would have been a bit big.
This is an encapsulation bra, no compression. My bust measures 36" with it on when it is normally 37.5-38."
This is a nice compromise between a wired sports bra and the Enell bras. There's some extra fabric kind of at the bottom edge of the bra where the wire would go, so not a perfect design, but still pretty good.
Fantastic quality sports bra, very supportive. The band is waaaaay too tight for me, and the cups just a tidge big. An expensive bra, but the quality is obvious. Wish it fit!
Ok so I LOVE the panache sports bra. This one is like a size too small so it is slightly uncomfortable, but I have a 28H and it is the best thing ever!!!
Update 7/18/15: I still own this sports bra and it still functions for great support. However, the wires are now too wide for me due to weight loss. I still highly recomend it.
Original Review 5/9/12: I Love this sports bra, it fits me perfect. I originally purchased and reviewed this in a size 28G but have since upgraded to a 28GG and it's even better.
I've got two of these - the black/geo and the coral/yellow. Both fit well in the bra department, identical to the sports bra, but the body is very loose, at least 2 sizes too big (my waist measurement is 23" for reference).
I just recieved my grey 28GG Panache sports bra in the mail, and it works!! I'm not saying it's perfect, but it contains all of my tissue, without feeling like a torture device. I only have a tiny bit of boob popping out on my larger/taller side, but seriously, I'd need a turtleneck bra to cover that up. The wired part of the gore tacks, and yes the cups are too wide, creating that emptiness at the bottom-outer sides of the cups, but I seriously don't have any bras where the underwires perfectly follow my root. Thanks to the padded wire channels, there's no stabbing, and I don't actually *feel* the wideness. The band is tight without suffocating me, and while the cups in the 30G I tried had some extra space, these are much better (weird, as they should be the same). The band also feels a little firmer than in 28G. The grey/lavender is a great option to the boring white and black basics. I'm ready to go sportsing!
I love my Panache Sport too! The only problem I find with it is that it sits just a bit too low on me. When I'm running it'll sometimes feel like my ribs are getting bruised. But I still want more anyway!
I had that problem with the 30G because the band was too loose! Maybe add some extra padding where the wires poke you? I haven't had the time to do a proper test run of the bra yet, but it stayed up well during my standard wild bounce test. I've avoided physical activities for years but now I'm excited to pick up the ol' roller skates!
The band pokes the ribs that jut out beneath my underbust because it slides down ever so slightly. I think padding there would only exacerbate the issue. It's annoying, but certainly not a dealbreaker. I'm so tempted to buy another but I've already got two Cleo Lily Balconnet Bra (7351) on the way >.<
That sounds painful :/ It's things like that that makes you wish we could all have padded ribs! Ahhw I love the Lily! What colours did you get?
I love the Lily too! I gave my friend my Lily because we're practically the same size and she had no proper fitting bras. I've been missing it ever since haha. So i bought another 32FF parrot print and a 30G aqua/pink one. I'm just waiting for the magenta/orange one to show up somewhere for cheaper and I'll snap it up as well :)
I'm not really a fan of next seasons swan print so I've got to stock up!
The original parrot print is one of my favourite bra colours ever :) I love the navy in combination with the pink/orange straps and accents, it's the perfect shade of coral for me. And parrots! I saw Bravissimo has an exclusive pink version, same as the aqua but with inverted colours. I noticed in the SS15 season, there won't be a new Lily. There's a similar cut, I forget the name, it had a watercolour floral pattern I think? I sincerely hope Lily makes a comeback in AW15. I would absolutely love one (or several) as a basic. Can you imagine a beige one?? Or just any colour but candy pink/magenta. I don't mind it, but it's a bit overused.
I know, magenta and pink are soo common. I do like the orange accents on the magenta lily though - they keep it feeling fresh. The Claudette Dessous colourways are really nice, and I wish more brands would experiment with colours. Cleo does, but I feel like it just gets fluorescent and tweeny at times. I saw an upcoming butter yellow colourway for the Panache Andorra, and it's so much nicer than the yellow Marcie Cleo has. I can't stand the Andorra's gore, unfortunately.
I like Lily's magenta because it looks slightly darker and not the usual kind of makes-your-eyes-hurt pink. Panache's spring/summer styles for next year all look amazing - I had hoped the pastels and especially lemonade would carry into Cleo's range, but alas. I like the yellow Marcie, it's a lot less highlighter yellow than the model pictures suggest, more of a sunflower type of colour. Still not quite working on my skintone, but it's bright and makes me happy. Pale yellow is my favourite though. I wish Cleo would branch out into colours with less "pop". Sadly main brand Panaches don't get along with my shape - I have super narrow roots and I find all of their bras have rough and itchy fabric. Even the miracle Jasmine was a failure. I'm taking one last chance with the Floris, which supposedly fits like Marcie, but if that doesn't work, I'll have to give up Panache for life.
Erin is kind of cute, but I'm worried the ribbon will make it tighter across the top. Part of me really likes the Maya, but I think it's just a little too much with the rainbow colours And the sheer embroidery And the leopard print. I think it's growing on me though, I used to hate it. Orange contrasts make everything better!
I checked out the Claudette Dessous - love the seafoam/khaki and apple green! I'd really love to see more green bras. There's a couple of emeralds and jades floating around the bra-verse, but nowhere near enough to satisfy my wants.
I honestly didn't think this one would work as well as it does. I do very high impact workouts and it keeps me contained and feeling safe. It's not "oh I left my boobs at home" feeling you get with Enell Sports (100) , but it does reduce bounce significantly while worn in racerback. It took some time getting used to the new pressure position of the straps and it did leave my collarbones sore the first time, but we're all good now. The only downside I see now is that it gets really hot wearing it, but that can be solved by working out only in the bra. It looks that ...good, you do not need a top with it.
As for the shape it gives, I'd be ranting and raving about any bra who creates such a perfect round uplifted shape, and when it comes from a sports bra? Let's just say the enell is taking some time off now https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

great bra very supportive. I wish a 26H or 26HH would exist because i had to put it on the tides hook right away, but that's because i'm a 24/26. I also would have wanted the straps to be fully adjustable. But nonetheless Great for horseback riding. I also found it very pretty for a sports bra.
