I tried a crap ton of sports bras recently, and this one and the Fit Fully Yours (FFY) were the two winners, each with redeeming features.
Like the majority (read: all but the FFY) sports bras I tried that day, I had to size up to a 32 or 34 band. This one was 32DD but in retrospect, I probably should have tried the 32E, as I had a little more side boob visible in this one than I did with the FFY.
The straps, as is, were fine and fit better than the FFY, but the J hook was fixed and not as comfortable, as it felt like it was pressing on my shoulder blades. I'd be curious to see if it was better in the cup size up.
I do not own this, however I wanted a record of the bra...pics and review for later purposes, and to support the site.
I think that I might prefer to get one used, if at all, because of the not 100% fit.
I have Panache sport in 32DD, 30E, 30F and fake one in 32E. I must say the 30F is best one, it’s snug but not too tight. The 32DD and 30E are definitely too small but I don’t feel any discomfort when using them . I just get little quadboibs over the cups. Definitely is the best bra for exercising, my boobs are painful if I use tops like Nike, Adidas or poorly reducing bouncing. These panache are amazing .
I love Panache sport bras even though they don’t make my size. I still use them, that’s how well they work! 😀
explain Sovavosi ! i was just double-checking - i can still fit a 32JJ in some panache, but i'm huge. I just bought another decent exposures bra, first bra I've had in ages (I do have bra-shirts, one of which i'm wearing now, which I use for low impact workouts/yoga) and honestly, i dont do high energy stuff, so its enough, but i did wonder if there is anything i can fit in to
Well they don’t make my band or cup size so I’m wearing a 32HH. The cups are too tall but the bottom and wires are just fine. I have it hooked on the tightest hook, and the bra still manages to keep my boobs separated and it wicks sweat really well. It doesn’t seem to shimmy up my back that much despite it being 2 band sizes too big. I just use a rowing machine and some weight lifting. I don’t know how well it’d work for high impact because of the band being too big.
How is Decent Exposures for yoga? I was thinking about trying it.
Closest I see on amazon would be a 34J, which is close. hmm.
I love Decent Exposure, I wore them for years, but I wear them smaller than recommended, so they act like a compression bra. I like the lined lycra. I have a long-sleeved velour bra shirt I bought for doing yoga in the winter, and its a tad small (but i think it managed to stretch some?) and I like it. I do yoga at home tho!
Weird, I never entered the larger one. I think the one I wear now is a 30 G and its pink. this one is older; 30F - Decent Exposures » Cami-bra Scoop Back (410) . the bra I ordered was a racer-back lined lycra in 31 I, i think
I like Panache for medium and low impact, as the sizing isn’t quite right for me (currently sort of 32HH). For higher impact I’d probably squeeze myself into an Enell and cross my fingers. Actually had found a soft cup sports bra with separation that worked surprisingly well and looked like a real bra, but am sized out now (Glamorise). The J hook on Panache has never worked for me, as it makes me feel like my own boobs are suffocating me. I think it would work for smaller cup sizes though (and more slanted shoulders?).
This bra might be life-changing. I've never had a proper sports bra that actually fit me before. Before, I used to just wear 2 sports bras and hope for the best. It worked, but it was very tight and my boobs would be squashed together. Peeling the things off after a sweaty workout was almost a workout in itself.
The Panache sports bra is a game-changer! There's no wires, but the cups are molded in such a way that they lift and separate my breasts. The cups hold my breasts in place and keeps them from bouncing around. There's also a J-hook at the back for more support, or ...to coordinate with your top. The neckline is high enough that my boobs won't fall out during yoga inversions. In fact, it covers enough of me that I think I'd feel comfortable wearing it without a shirt over top at the gym.
The band hugs my ribcage - my boobs don't feel like they're trying to escape beneath the band (a big problem I'd get in sm/med/lg sized bras where I'd have to size up to fit my breasts). I love the fact that there's a proper closure at the back - no more trying to wiggle out of a sweaty bra after a workout. Read more 104 more words
I LOVE this bra so much, the only pitfall that I'm having is that I think I'm wearing the wrong size (cup volume is fine, but I need to size down in the band because I started wearing it on the smallest hook and it's starting to stretch out. This is currently one of the most functional, comfortable and flattering bras that I own, but it's perhaps not too versatile unless you don't mind it showing and looking sporty under certain garments. It's very sturdy and well made, I only own one and have been running in it 4-5 times a week for two years and ...it's only just starting to stretch out. The band and straps are wide and very comfortable, and the cups have a very flattering shape (I often wear this as a regular t-shirt bra). The most exciting thing about this bra to me, however, is how functional it is. My "girls" are particularly bouncy even when walking, which is very painful and uncomfortable for someone who runs a lot, but this bra is seriously my best friend because there is almost ZERO bounce in this thing. The encapsulation fit is really effective, comfortable and breathable. It's just great. I'm going to get a better size soon and will update once I do, but even in the slightly wrong size this bra is awesome. Everyone should have one. Read more 136 more words
I am a fan of the wired and non-wired Panache Sport bras, but I am starting to like the non wired best. It stays in place better during my workouts and just seems to fit better. I can wear 30DD, 30E and 32DD pretty comfortably in these. The 30 bands are better, but the 32DD is a bit more comfortable and cups fit best. Technically speaking, I think the 30E is the best fit (my usual UK size). Try the non wired if the wired version was a problematic fit for you.
i just bought one of these and worry about which size i should get, i didn't know weather to get a 32D or 32DD, are they really that similar that it probably doesn't matter much? i guess the 32DD just has more "coverage" right?
That is essentially true. I find the main difference here is more coverage, but it also might depend on how projected you are. Sometimes if I go too big the tip of the cup is empty, but with this bra it isn't super noticeable. If I go a cup size down for better fit, I get a little bit of underarm fat protruding, which I hate, but that is something I deal with in all sports bras. The smaller cup is usually better support, though, so I am tending to go more in that direction these days.

thank u for your reply. i got my 32DD in the mail today and yes, i do seem to have a little empty space at the tip of the cup AND the cups are cutting into my armpit fat a little and i'm thinking if it was a cup size smaller that armpit fat section would be even more painful. so thank u for helping me not worry about it too much :)
First of all, this bra has no wires, but it has clearly visible 'molds' for the cups. (They are, however, stretchy and may adapt to your shape, because there are no wires.)
All measurements of the cups were taken unstretched.
Some additional measurements: Cup width measured vertically: 15cm. Strap width varies between 3cm at the widest and 1.8cm at the narrowest part. The upper part of the straps is cushioned, and they are only partially adjustable.
I will add more information as soon as I have tried and tested the bra.
Edited to add:
- It fits! I'm usually a 30E, but went for a 32DD in this style because I don't like sports bras that are too tight and hinder breathing (sports aren't fun if you can't brrreeeeaaaaathe, right?) The band width is just perfect, and it provides excellent support thanks to the 3-hook closure. It provides good support, is pretty comfy overall, and it suits my wide root shallow boobs much better than the wired version did.
I've tried three different sizes of Panache Sports now. Though none of them have been quite right, I still love them. They are comfortable and functional. What I like about this one, which does fit*, is that nothing digs in while I exercise, and it keeps my cleavage fairly minimal.
*Consider sizing up a band size! I do a lot of upper body work (hanging) and I think I'd prefer it a little less tight for this high intensity environment where my shoulders are moving around a lot. Lately I prefer having this bra in my normal rotation and not my exercise rotation. Next Sport I try will be a 34D.
My shape: close set, center full, full on bottom, average/narrow width roots, tall shallow roots, soft tissue.
This bra is definitely too small. Sizing down in the cups from my usual size (32E) didn’t work out for me (I also tried this same bra/top in my regular size of 32E, but didn’t like the fit overall either, link here: http://bra.pe/X094/). This might be because even though my breasts behave more like they’re full on bottom, they still have tall shallow roots almost up to my collarbone. So my breast tissue is very squished and coming out/spilling from the top. I almost wish I had ordered the regular Panache bra at the same time to compare with these sports tops.
I bought this bra second-handed here. It is almost as new, with one exception: the right cup arrived very slightly dented (around 1-2 cm), possibly from postal handling. This does not affect in any way the support or fit, which are great.
The Panache Sport wired bra is my favourite sports bra, and I am glad to have two of those.
This bra supports well and is comfortable. My boobs do not bounce at all. It also gives a nice shape.
I personally prefer the wired version because it has a little more immediate projection. The wireless cups, on my breasts, collapse just a little and are slightly too small. This is, however, a very minor issue and I really enjoy this bra.
This is a sports bra that works and looks good. I have been wearing it for martial arts for a year and it is perfect. Not only does it keep everything in place (no bounce), it actually helps remove my boobs from under my arms and keep them lifted and centered.
It could even become a good bra for winter, as the shape is great and it is comfy https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I am a fan.
I had to size up in the cups for this to work on my wide shoulder frame. The bust points on the 32D were way to narrow for me and looked really weird. The support after sizing up is a little less than it should, but I do not run in this, I do jumping exercises and it works pretty well. If you are concerned about maxium support, stay with your usual cup size, but if you want a more traditional bra with great support for light to medium exercises then this will be great sized up in the cup. The band is super firm and doesn't feel tight on. I do need help hooking the band because it is is firm.
I have Panache sport in 32DD, 30E, 30F and fake one in 32E. I must say the 30F is best one, it’s snug but not too tight.
