My shape: soft, deflated, full on bottom with tall shallow top, measure to 36E
Pros: - Supportive and hold everything in place for exercise/activities - Very high quality material and construction. Soft mesh, absorbs sweat.
Cons: - The cups are tall, so I don't fill them out even though I went down a cup size. Well known issue with this bra. - It shows above my shirt necklines and around the shoulders as it is full coverage. I don't mind.
I originally bought this style in a 38DD, since the band runs tight, but the cups were way too tall. I can wear either size to work out.
I bought this bra because I needed a few sports bras for light exercise like walking and stretching. The fitting associate gave me a 36DD instead of a 34E, but it seemed to fit okay at first. The "gore" on this bra feels a little weird at first, but this could be a me issue. It can technically be converted into a racerback, but I prefer it as a standard bra because racerback sports bras are incredibly difficult for me to put on. (And I've heard horror stories of other people injuring themselves in the attempt, though I don't know what bra model they ...were trying) The straps on this bra vary in width from 1.75cm-3cm.
EDIT: After wearing this bra a few times, I've noticed more problems with it. First, I had to adjust the straps to their maximum tightness because I noticed when I leaned over to the side, the straps and cup would lift off my body some. This solution is OK for now, but it's obviously a problem going forward because my band is still on the loosest hook possible and this doesn't give me any room to adjust the straps further. Secondly, I think the cups on this bra may be too wide or tall for me. (Unsure which one) It's most noticeable when I lean to the side, but even standing up straight there's a bit of buckling on the side of the cup. Read more 141 more words
