It is rare that I find a bra that is too wide-set for my breasts, however the gore on the Amelia combined with its complete lack of projection at the gore has managed to achieve this. The gore on Amelia is about 50% wider than most Panache bras, so proceed with caution.
The cups are surprisingly (and pleasantly) narrow, but my goodness is the bra shallow. The measurements are before any modification however I've had to alter the wires by over a centimetre just to get enough depth - so the wires do sit on breast tissue, but not enough to bother me. The wires are much softer than ... usual Panache wires, which may also be contributing to the bad tack.
Otherwise it's actually a lovely bra! Firstly I'll mention that it works fantastically without the straps, no shifting when I literally jumped up and down. I got the 34FF as I read it ran small in the cups, I don't quite think that's true as I get a smidge of quadding (although it may be a side-effect of the other issues I'm having). The band definitely runs firm though, firmer than any other Panache I've ever tried. The fabric overlay hides any bra hardware as well, which is a nice plus.
Overall it's certainly not the most flattering bra I've ever owned but it's very functional at least!
