Adorable Bandeau tankini.
I love that you can do regular straps or cross in back or strapless. Love the ruching on the sides- more figure flattering. And you can use this to make the sides longer or shorter. Because it is bandeau style, I imagine that FOT lafies could have trouble with quad boob, but that is kinda what bandeaus do and some like that look.
Center gore is very tall, but I like that it helps keep everything in place and let's you be modest and sexy at the same time.
I love this print and style, but unfortunately the pattern ... accentuates my under band muffin top. I sister sized up so it would be roomier around my hips (48") which worked well except that the band seems to run big, so while I can survive in a Cleo 38, this was WAY too loose for me. Even with the loose band I had that dreaded under and pudge. More time at the gym is needed. The wires measured not too wide, but when I was trying it on they were too wide.
On the whole this tankini works fairly well for an hourglass (45-34-48), just didn't quite work for me. It is more roomy in the hips than the Freya fever tankini or the @panache Anna tankini.
I tried out the cute skirted bottoms...while they do hide any upper thigh problems, with the tankini and all the pattern it looked like a trashy minidress , not the look I was shooting for. I likes it better with black bottoms to break up the pattern.
Strap width is .6, btw- measures didn't ask.
