The beautiful Amelia is a gorgeous bikini from the new Panache Swim collection and it's probably one of the most gorgeous full bust bikinis I've ever seen!
I finally decided to get full bust bikinis a go and this was my first experience! Marina in white, from the 2016SS Panache Swim collection was one of the picks! It fits wonderfully!
If I buy a bikini like this, I would like to get a body like yours to go with it. :D I mean seriously, you could make a garbage bag look like a perfectly fitting fashion item. Sooooo envious here.... Linda!
erispe beauty is in the eye of the beholder! <3 All bodies are good bodies! <3
Oh good, because I was just about to go and lock myself in a gym and not come out till July. lol
Unfortunate, because it's super cute. After I saw lcl0706's review of the black, I had to try the navy. From the front, it's not bad. But from the side it gives this really unlovely shape. It sort of abruptly cuts in then pushes all my tissue down into a low rounded pointy shape. It's also too wide and the wires would not even pretend to be friendly with my IMF.
No sir, I don't like it.
Anyway, it's really comfortable despite the shallowness. The band was a bit of a bear to fasten, but once on I didn't notice it much. I ...jumped around and bounced a bit and it didn't slide down more than it did initially and I didn't fall out with a bend and shake. So, it's friendly to soft tissue and good for active pursuits and not just tanning.
Despite my issues, it's a cute top and seems well made. I would suggest trying it especially since it's risk free on Amazon. I'm sending this back on Monday. Read more 69 more words
Oh noooes! I'm sorry it didn't work for you. It's too wide and shallow for me too but I don't have super high standards for a swim top. But I see what you mean by the cutting in on top. It looks like your roots are taller than what this swim top will allow :-( It is super cute though!!
My standards aren't that high either, but I have a Cleo Lucille on the way that was $11...so I'd probably overlook the same issues in it versus the $40 (not that that's much, but it's not $11!). Some of it is breast tissue, but a lot of it is muscle. So I get that weird look. You know, I may get it in my J.Crew tops too. I just never photographed them so I wouldn't know. I'm glad to have tried it, because it is cute and if it fit better or was cheaper, I'd likely keep it.
I totally get it! I had a gift card from my brother when I ordered mine so it only cost me $13 out of pocket. It does make a big difference in how picky you can be when you can try something else for way cheaper!
jlcl119,, I just got the 30F, navy, @Panache Britt Halter Swimsuit, the one piece version of your bandeau. It gives me the same squashed down bust shape. The wires dig in at the center gore, too, because I need very low center gores.
I was going to return it, but I noticed it flatters my front, back, and sides, except for the bust. I've wanted a long leg, vintage style one piece bathing suit for a long time. I didn't expect to find one that would suit my body type, but this one does. I'll model it for my bf to see if he agrees.
If he does, I've decided I'll remove the wires, take in the center gore area so the wire channels overlap the top three inches, insert a plunge bra's wires, and make sure they go all the way up the channels under the arms. I hope to achieve a shape resembling what I get from my Ewa Michalak 3Ds or my Masquerade Serenity Plunge. Those are moulded bras, though, so we'll see.
learningaboutbras Oh! Let me know how it goes, sounds like a good way to save a nice suit.
The swimsuit is lovely, but it doesn´t fit very well in the cups :-/ I have shallow boobs, tall + wide root. My usual size is 28F/28FF. At first I couldn´t figure out what´s with the cups, but it is the cup shape. They are a little too deep for me and that´s why I don´t fill them entirely. They are a little bit too closed on top, so there´s a little spillage as well (this is not THAT bad though). The shape they give me is a little .. dragged down, not lifted.
There is a "bra" with underwires inside the suit. In 30E the bra part is ...a little loose on me. 28F would be better but this 30E is wearable in the tightest hooks. The problem is that the suit is damn difficult to get on/up!! That´s because the back comes very high up and is "closed" in the swimsuit outer fabric-part. The bra + bra hooks are inside it.
I had no issues about the torso length, but I never do. It fits okay for me. I bet this would be a very nice suit if the cup shape is okay for you and if you manage to get it up (my hips are qiote wide, maybe that´s the problem).
EDIT. I altered the swimsuit. I cut the bra off and replaced it with a Freya Deco Honey 30E bra! I also made a "hole" to the back so there´s more room to drag the swimsuit up. The front is more like plunge now, comes lower than before. Now my boobs are lifted, not dragged down! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 180 more words
This is a very beautiful bandeau bikini bra which can be worn with the straps or without.
My usual size is about UK 28F / 28FF and my shape is somewhat shallow with wide + tall roots. I so wanted this bikini top to work for me and I ended up getting it in 30E and 32D (-sister sized to 30DD). Unfortunately the shape is not good for me. This bikini would work much better for someone with more projection and shorter roots. Both bikini tops are the wrong shape for me, I get quadboob and in the 30E I also have empty cups at the bottom. However, I´m so in love with the print that I will keep the (altered to) 30DD because there´s less empty cups going on.
I used to own this bikini as a normal two piece suit - it didnt work for some reason (dont remember exactly). This suit actually fits well but its not my style... I love the white polka dot on navy fabric pattern. Also this swimsuit is made of two layers of material. Underneath there's mesh 'longline' bra without boning, band is kind of stretchy comparing to my Veronica tankini, however it feels nice and comfy on the body. The mesh finishes where the 'panties' starts. The top layer covers the cups and ends below pants - looking like a mini dress. The back its all made of 1 ...layer of spotty fabric. The wires are 13cm wide. The channels are actually kind of long and is impossible to push the wires down from the gore - so if you need really short gore - it may not work completely - but! the gore is also not too high. I dont like the halterneck style as my neck is sensitive on any pressure put on it - so im trying to avoid any halterneck bikinis but i really wanted to try this swimsuit! I am just 157cm and this swimsuit will work also on taller girls as I could easily pull it down a bit. Read more 105 more words
Excellent quality! I really like this swim top, it's super cute. Unfortunately, it's the wrong shape for me. The top is much too closed and the cups are too deep for my shallow breasts (especially the smaller one). I would recommend it for someone with less upper fullness and more projection.
As a preface, I'm lucky enough to have never really struggled with finding swimsuit tops that fit decently. I can usually just pick up any S or M size top in a department store and it will fit. So I'd never felt the need to seek out a bra sized swim top. However, I found this one at a great price and couldn't resist.
I really like this top! The band is firm and supportive. I feel like there are fit issues that I can't quite put my finger on though. I think maybe the cups are too tall. It feels like there is empty space at the tops. ...Or I don't think I completely fill out the cups. I'm not sure it sits in the right place. The fabric at the bottom of the cups wrinkles when the top is both on and off, so I'm not sure if it's me or the construction of the top. These issues are all minor to me and I think it looks good and is comfortable. I don't swim often and I got it as a good deal so I'm quite happy. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
My biggest complaint is that the matching bottoms seem to be seriously vanity sized. I own the XS pair and they fit my ~38" hips perfectly. I would usually go for a M size bottom. I usually wear at least a 5 or 6 in pants!! I'm not XS haha. It sucks that smaller ladies than me might not get to have this set because the bottoms are made to be so big. Read more 161 more words
This swimsuit fits quite well sizewise, I usually wear 28F-28FF. I have to close it to the tightest hooks though. The shape is not perfect. The cup shape is round but there is not much uplifting. I´d like my boobs to be perkier in a swimsuit. I think a bigger cup size might be better for me, and of course, a 28 back. But the swimsuit is quite tricky to put on the way it is now, in a 28 band / back size it would be even harder.
The colour is very vibrant purple in some stock photos, and it is NOT so vibrant in real life. It is a purple, mut somewhat darker and more boring.
I ´d recommend for anyone who is concidering a cup sized AND underwired swimsuit, to get one that doesn´t come up so high in the back. Panache has other styles of swimsuits, like the Veronica, where the back is cut differently, and I´m guessing it is much easier to put on.
I ordered this tankini in 30E because 28F (or 28FF, my usual Panache size) was not available or they don´t make it. I have found that in swimwear 30 band is usually tight enough.
The tankini is okay, fits okay and all, but it is very difficult to put on and to take off! (plus some additional complaints, see further...). You have to pull your hands, head and shoulders through it which means you have to stretch it to the maximum. I wish the tankini had a "hole" in the back, like the Isobel or Veronica swimsuits do, it would make it much easier to put it on. The ...wires are in the way when dressing this on and off. But if one makes it (imagine taking it off while wet... horror), it is a nice looking tankini. If one has hips small enough maybe you could pull it on from there but I have absolutely no chance of doing it.
Straps adjust all the way and they are removable in the back which means you can fasten them racer back. I did have some difficulties with straps staying put, they tended to come off by themselves while putting the tankini on... so beware.
The cup-part which is underneath the top layer, fits me perfectly. Wires are wide enough and cups the right volume. It closes like a normal bra, 3 x 2 hooks + eyes. The only problem is that if I close it to the tightest hooks, then the upper layer of the tankini cloth wrinkles in the back. Read more 150 more words
My usual size is 28F so I ordered a 30E because it seems they don´t produce 28.
The cups are very small!! They give me huge quadboob, I guess I should size up 2 cup sizes!! I read all reviews I could get before ordering and some said cups run small, some said they run large. In my opinion they run very small!!
Other than that it is a nice looking bikini top. The band is quite snug and I feel it is the right size for me. Straps are removable and adjust all the way.
In my pictures there are dents in the cups, that´s because of the packaging. I´ve read that you can get them away with time but I couldn´t get them off for the picture taking.
I also ordered a matching skirted bottom in UK12. I find it runs "true to size". I usually wear UK12 / EUR M and the bottom fits me perfectly.
I haven't worn this in the water, but the 30E Panache Seychelles Tankini fits well on dry land. It's a halterneck, which I like. The colors are pretty but subtle enough to be flattering if you want to minimize your tummy. The patterned swimsuit material lies over a black mesh underwired bra. The bra's center gore height is hard to determine but seems quite low, much like a plunge bra's. This makes for a more comfortable experience if you're close-set like me. The patterned swimsuit fabric is ruched at the center gore area and comes up much higher than the wires. There is a drawstring at the center gore area so you can adjust the height of the cleavage coverage up or down.
This is not an unknown model, but is a Suzette Balconette bikini top!! (when I added this, there was not such option and I couldn´t add it).
I ordered this from Figleaves but unfortunately I didn´t have time to take pictures, or measure it or anything, I already packed it to be sent back. But I´ll write a review anyway, in case it might be helpful to others.
It is a bikini top and the pattern is a kind of mixture of violet, pink, black and brown parts, as in the commercial pictures. Straps are partly adjustable and there is a clip behind to secure it.
I usually wear 28F or ...28FF in bras so i got 30E. I don´t think they make 28 bands, and when reading reviews of other Panache swimwear I guessed that 30 would be snug enough for me. It was. Only the cups were too small! So I´d say this bra / top runs small in the cups. They cut in breast tissue on top, and there was that "orange in a glass" with my left breast. Some wrinkling at the bottom of left cup (my left boob is the bigger one, so wrinkling was not due to too small cups).
Otherwise I found the bra / top very nice, looks good and felt okay. So I ordered 30F instead. Read more 114 more words
This bikini set was more expensive than others that I have tried and it´s not unclear why. It is definitely better quality and more complex what comes to design, than any of my other swimwear.
The top has kind of 2 layers of fabric in the cups and straps. You can change the top layer´s position in the cups, you can have more coverage or pull it away so that cups will be more open. There are normal, adjustable straps and over them is another layer that makes it look that the straps are very wide. This is kind of hard to explain, I´ll put photos to show ...this. Straps are fully adjustable. The detail of the bottom shorts is also adjustable.
This bikini top fastens with a metal hook, and there are 3 options of how tight you want it to be!!!! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
Then the size. My "usual" bra size is 28F (28FF in some models, and 65F in EM) and I got this in 30E, but there´s some quadboob again!! This is a common problem to me what comes to swimwear... Anyway the quadboob is not bad at all, and I wonder if 30F would be too big. But I shall not know, because I won´t order it, I will keep this. I tend to need normal-wide wires, (narrow ones are NOT for me) and in this bikini the wires are very good for me.
So what else to tell... It is a very nice bra and the fit is good on me except for the very small quadboob, I definitely can live with that! I have nothing to complain, really... I got the shorts in size 12 and they are a good fit. I usually wear M.
ETA. I have worn the bikini a few times now, and I think the quadboob disappeared. So I marked this bikini as "fits". However the shape of the cups is not ideal for me, it does nothing to my boobs. There is no lift at all, the shape is very natural (not the way I prefer it, but it´s ok). Read more 242 more words
This is a tankini top that has an underwired inner layer. It fits me nicely, the wires are wide enough and cups are the right size https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Straps are fully adjustable and they come off at the back, so you can cross them in the back.
However, there are some fit issues. The way the straps are positioned where they start at the front side, they should be crossed in the back. I guess this was meant to wear like that. When I wear the inner bra hooks in the tightest rows the fit is very good on me, but then the outer ...layer gapes at the back side!! It is as if the inner layer and the outer are not the same size. If I wear the straps non-crossed, the gaping lessens, but then the starting point of straps at the front side gaps!! If you know what I mean. If I wear the straps crossed and loosen them all the way, the gaping is not that bad, but then I loose the support https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
So this tankini is not designed very well. But other than that, I like it! The colour is great and at least the inner bra part feels comfortable and supportive. This really wold be perfect if there were not thos things I mentioned with the fit! Oh, and the "usual" size for is 28F. Some 30E´s are good, too, when in the tightest hooks or in the middle hooks, but definitely I prefer 28. Read more 151 more words
