Normally padded/balconette cups are not for me, but I ended up with this bra as, to my surprise, it fit very well when I tried it on, is very supportive, and is nice and comfortable. The straps are wide, but I have wider shoulders so this is not a problem for me. They are also fully adjustable for us with shorter torsos! The cups are a lightweight, stretchy foam, rather than being stiff. Normally I have an issue filling out these kind of cups as I don't have a lot of projection (reconstructed breasts) but it was no problem here because of the stretch.
There is also good lateral ... support even though there are no seams due to the way the straps are attached at the cup. This is important in my case due to the reconstruction to prevent implant migration. I have also read a few reviews on the internet that complain of higher wire on side..the wire is higher, but I again prefer this in my case for better support and to really encapsulate the implant (and I expect would do similar for breast tissue!). Shorter wires just don't feel as supportive in this sense for me. Though higher, it does not dig or pinch.
The lace trim at the top at this point is a bit snug over my "D" shaped breasts, but it does not exactly make a quad boob either on me. It might be an issue for some though. The lace adds some interest and is not visible under my tops.
Band feels snug, but stretchy.
I really like this bra, and it surprised me that I did! I got it in Lilac as that was all they had in store even though purple is not exactly my favourite colour, but I intend to order it in a black and/or nude as well.
