Weird, weird bra (for me, at least). Makes my boobs look flat from the front and square from the side. I'm gonna see how it treats my PMS boobs before listing it, but I don't have that much hope.
This bra is cut very similarly to the Panache Jasmine (6951) and Panache Andorra Full Cup (5675) , but without a stretch lace upper panel and with narrower wires. I found that the cut worked quite well for me, but the narrow wires were a bit uncomfortable and the less-forgiving upper panel gaped or cut in depending on my posture.
The blue is absolutely stunning - the photos do not do it justice - as are the pattern details at the cup rim and both ends of the gore.
Truly a gorgeous bra that does really well for even shapes. The silhouette is a little pointy, but not entirely retro or unflattering, and would be very comfortable for someone with similar breasts but a narrow root relative to my own.
I loved the idea of this bra, but it just didn't work for me. The cups weren't deep enough, and even though the cup was obviously the right size, it just felt too shallow and did cut in a bit on the top of the cup. The band was also tight - I measure closer to 31 ins underbust, and the band only stretched to 29 ins.
Well made, pretty if full coverage is your thing. Even though it is all lace, it is reasonably practical under most clothing. This one is a pinkish/coral color. I feel the cup is small but the band is a good, firm fit (maybe runs a smidge larger than the pearl in a 34G). The wires come up awfully high on the sternum and under the armpits, and they seem to angle inward (although not as much as the pearl. I have bent the wires out at both ends as well as rounding the middle so that the fit is better so I've left out the measurement of wire width. The band seems firm enough, almost too tight under the armpits, but it's being pulled up & away from the intramammary fold because there's not enough boob room. A 34 might be fine in an HH cup but I don't care for the amount of coverage I get on my already-short torso. I want more lift and centering than I get in this bra.
This bra was a very odd fit for my breast shape and not remotely flattering on me. The top of the cup is very high and the cups separate my boobs so there is no cleavage. I wanted to love it because it is so much prettier than my other Panache bra and supposedly is a similar fit to the Natori bra that I love but it fits nothing like it. The band was too stretchy, lace a bit itchy and the center gore does not lie flat.
This is the perfect tshirt bra for me. I usually fit into a 28 band, but I believe that Panache tends to have very tight bands, so the 30 is perfect for me. That, plus the fact that it is very stretchy in the band makes this a super comfortable bra.
The cups are perfectly filled by my bottom-heavy breasts - no gapping in the top like I am used to with bra cups that come higher up. I have average-to-narrow shoulders, and the band of this bra fits right in the 'sweet spot', the dip between my shoulders and where my neck ends. This fits perfectly! Definitely an everyday bra that I don't have to worry about the bra itself or my nipples peeking through my shirts.
Ordered this off amazon to try and figure out if it might work size-wise. I previously ordered the 32F and it was much too small. While this fits quite well, I am sending it back because of the high cut of the side wings, they cut into my underarms and it is just not comfortable.
This bra was very pretty, and I bought it when figleaves was running a promotion for BOGO for Ariza & Tango Il (mistake...). Unfortunately, this was back in my n00b days, so I didn't realize that full cups don't really lift and shape.
So, I ended up with an unlifted, sad shape, which I despise. Returned!
Fit wise, this is a significant improvement over the Tango II Balconette, which gave me a weird shape and gaping. It is so comfortable, but it is still not great. For a plunge, I find it minimizes cleavage (since I don't have a lot to work with in that department) and gives a natural shape, and I usually aim for something that gives me a bit more of a "boost". There is something still a bit wrong for the cut of it too, that just does not seem to work perfectly for me.
I bought this bra in a lagoon colour, and I think it really emphasised how pretty this bra is! Very comfortable to wear for long periods of time and is very soft. The cups gape a little under the armpits, but fit well everywhere else.
I seem to have a shape incompatibility with this bra. It fits well in all areas except the top of the cup cuts in too soon and give me a sort of quad-boob. Trying it in a 28E did not remedy the situation. It also looks rather pointy from the side. It's a lovely bra though, with sturdy mesh for the cup and a softer fabric for the wings. I have smallish boobs but they aren't especially shallow, and the underwire sat in the perfect location for me.
It was too high and dug into my sternum as well.I see you tried the Curvy Kate Daily Boost, that's one I have considered, how did you find the center gore to compare to that one?
I've been looking for something non-wired to wear around the house or when I want some support without a full bra (like at the movies or whatever, where I'm leaning back so underwires would dig in). I got this from another bratabase user, and wow!
It's perfect for me, or at least what I want it for. I marked the gore as floating, which is true, but it's impossible for the gore to tack due to it being a soft cup. The previous user's said that the cups come up too high for them, but it's fine for me. The cups come up as high on the sides as ...my ewa michalak PLs which are slightly too wide for me, but not uncomfortable. Somehow even without a real gore, it keeps my super-close-together boobs pretty separate, in a comfortable way.
It does give a pointy shape. I guess this is due to the construction of the bra, but it's more of a natural shape and somewhat similar to the pointiness of non-padded freyas.
The band has 6 hook and eye columns, assuming for when your ribcage expands during pregnancy. I'm not pregnant, so I am comfortably wearing it on the 2nd to tightest hook, which is fine for a lounging bra, especially considering that I have a 26" underbust. Plenty of support for sub-28 bands!
The lace itself is very pretty, and it's definitely a step up from crappy sports bras and the like.
The cups are really, really wide. It doesn't matter much because there's no underwire, but it does shift the apex more to the side than I'd like. I may try to alter the 'gore' to be narrower to see if I can bring the apex to where I need it to be. Read more 184 more words
I think I would love this bra if it came in a larger cup. This was my first purchase in my quest to find the proper fit. I grabbed it in purple from Nordstrom Rack for next to nothing. No, it doesn't fit me perfectly, but it is much better than anything I owned before and is quite comfortable. It will work to get me through the hunt for the perfect bra! I am not sure if this bra would actually fit even in the proper cup size though, since the bottom of the cup seems to go up some before projecting, I have a hard time getting the underwire to sit in my inframammary fold and even harder time trying to get it to stay there. It definitely gives me a bit of "orange in a glass" effect.
This is a very pretty bra but I ordered the wrong size, the cups were too small. I won't be trying this in a larger size because I didn't care for the pointy shape it gave me.
