Nice and comfy (cotton) bra, good as a nursing/sleeping bra. It runs quite small in the cups, when I was 32ff in Cleo, this 30gg was too small in the cups - it was OK for sleeping bra but after I went to 32g/gg, it was way too small. My choice of band was 30, because I knew it from previous experience that bras without underwire can be stretchy.
everything is pretty good, provides good lift. cup might be very slightly wrinkly right in middle seam, but the gore separates more than I would like, and the lace makes it visible underneath tshirts. maybe best besides the two I currently have.
completely unlined, doesn't put my breasts too high on my chest or create massive cleavage. Relayy beautiful. Wire pokes my armpit a little bit but the gore is narrow and the wires are wide. yay!
Though this ostensibly bra fits me (based on the questions that Bratabase asks), I'm not a fan. The cups are too high on the edges, meaning that the lace rubs my armpit. It's fine for an hour or two, but eventually it gets itchy and red. Someone taller or with a longer torso (I'm 5'1"/154cm) might not have this issue, so I would recommend you try this bra if you're looking for a soft cup. I think the black on nude color combination is really soft and pretty and classy.
The shape it gives is pointed and not very uplifted--I would only wear it out ...under heavy layers--but it's doesn't look bad, really, just retro. As for the band: yes, it's stretchy; my 28 stretches to a whopping 32.5". On this I have a couple things to say: 1) if I'm lounging around the house in a soft cup bra, I don't need a super-supportive band, and 2) there are six band settings! I normally wear mine on the first or second set, but if you're much thinner than my 27", you can adjust accordingly. Read more 82 more words
The band was a little too large, the gore didn't lie flat, and the cups just didn't fit right - they were a little wrinkled, yet I had wicked quadboob after scooping and swooping.
I purchased this bra from a fellow Bratabase user because I really wanted to try out this style. The bra was a little too big in the cups for me, but its still very comfy. I knew I was taking a risk in buying a 34GG, and it actually fit better than I thought. I'm going to try this bra in a 32GG next. Hopefully that will resolve the fit issues I have with the 34 band.
I had my mom try this bra on also, and I'm happy to report that its a great fit for her! She has some issues with shoulder pain which has caused ...problems with bra straps in the past. The straps not being fully adjustable worked out perfectly for her and resolved the issue of the adjuster hitting right under her shoulder blades. She had no problems with strap length, even without fully adjustable straps, and she's 5'9" with a long torso, so that's no easy feat. I'm very happy this bra worked for my mom, and I can't wait to get one for myself in the correct size! Read more 77 more words
This bra has been a bit of a disappointment; I thought it would be a thicker, more satiny fabric, but instead it's a kind of stiff mesh. It's not very comfortable compared to my other Panache (Cleo - jude) plunge bra as the gore digs in when I lean forward. It's very very pretty though and I think my main issue is that it's just not a great fit for me.
I have fairly full on top breasts and so I thought this bra, being a balconette, would fit my shape properly. However, i experience quite a bit of wrinkling in the centre of the cup and the top of the bra curves inwards and gives me a quad boob effect. I really wanted to love this bra but it just isn't the right shape for me.
Just purchased as my first "real" fitting bra. I think if I wear it in a bit it will be more comfortable. It isn't uncomfortable but it starts a bit stiff. From going from a VS ill-fitting bra, I love how this feels secure and yet has the same moulded feel. I don't feel any pokes or pinches and it is perfect for larger sizes.
I need to order up. I am not a 30E!!! At least I know that now... The bra is kinda ugly. The straps are a little too far apart for my shoulders. The wires are a bit wide, maybe. Seems like a good t-shirt bra though. I'm not sure I'm filling the bottoms but we'll see with a larger size.
Finally a pretty nursing bra. I don't know if a larger cup size would have allowed the gore to lay flat or if the lack of underwire prevents this. It is comfortable, the band does not dig in but also does not move. Straps don't fall down. Seems to fit my style of boob well. Daily wear and many feedings and washes have not had it stretch out or start to feel any different.
I like the shape of this bra and it lifts nicely. The only problem I have with it (aside from the seams which can easily be seen through a t-shirt), is that the wires poke my armpit because they are too high and too far back.
I really really liked the fit of this bra but I didn't keep it because I need something I can wear under tees and the seams were just too thick. I was disappointed because I'm having trouble finding things that fit comfortably and are flattering. I find in panache that i vary between cup sizes E and F and also have tried on (eden) where I would have needed a larger band than 30, but that is the only one. The sienna 30 F fit well but was not flattering. The 30 F in most others I tried such as the viva were too large
The bra that fits me best so far, I think I finally figured out my real size as 32J: no spillage, whole boob is inside the cup, wearing the new bra on the loosest hooks.
However, the center gore is either too wide/ too high for my close set boobs. So much so that after wearing it for a few hours, the right underwire naturally migrates on my right boob (the smallest) and only the left underwire is left between my breasts. And there's clearly no room for more than one there. Even altering the bra and tucking in the center gore (which is pretty wide) doesn't solve the ...issue. As a result I end up with angry red lines on my belly from where the underwire has been pushed away from my chest and down.
The shape is pretty nice, overall round but with a squarish/flat look if one looks closely. The seam between the lower half of the cup and the mesh seems to be digging into my boob somewhat. But my breasts are not very dense at this place, so it might not be a flaw of the bra itself. It doesn't show anyway when I'm wearing a top. No quadraboob effect though! Read more 95 more words
Nowadays I would probably call this altered Andorra my best fitting bra. It's the only bra that enclose my boobs completely. Larger boob is not totally happy because it's a little tight in there. Smaller is ok with everything even if the bra is too big for that one. I think my asymmetry is really visible in this one.
However since my bras nowadays sits lower I cannot tighten the straps to the max like this without discomfort. And when I start to do that the bra slopes down on me a bit. But compared to 34J Andorra and 34J Ariza I would still say this one is better. I am debating to get another one. The one I have is lagoon.
I really wanted to like this bra. the color was pretty, the lace was pretty, it was on sale at Nordstrom's and I really needed bras in my newly discovered size.... but it just wasn't compatible with my shape. I tried it in ff, g and gg. The ff gave me quadboob, and the gg was obviously too large, but the g just wasn't.... satisfactory. I don't think I filled out some parts of the cup, because I got a weird cone-boob shape, like the top and deepest parts/apex of the cup weren't filled out the way they wanted to be, plus somewhat noticeable wrinkling/caving at the ...bottom of the cup that didn't go away no matter how I adjusted. When I went up to the gg, which was too large in every other respect, I realized that the wires in the g were not wide enough and had been sitting on breast tissue. I think that the ff was closest to correct volume-wise, but the incompatible width/projection made the g feel like the best fit. After going back to Nordstrom's and trying it on 3 time under different tank tops, I admitted to myself that I just didn't like how it looked under clothes. Read more 98 more words
This is my favorite balconnet bra EVER. I love it so https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> How do I love it? Let me count thy ways https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> It is beautiful to look at; the embroidered fabric is oh so lovely, people ooo and aahhh when they see this https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The comfort is beyond anything else I have in this style; the GG-K cups in Ariza have reinforced straps with felt on the back and they are wider than the D-G cups, so they don't dig into your shoulders. ...The cups are reinforced and are not are sheer at the top like the D-G, but they are still see-through and very pretty https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Now, my underbust is 29, and I know that some people say you should go up a band size in this style. Well, I did, went from a 30 to a 32 and I lost all the lovely reinforcements, as the 32G is the "sister size" of this one, but it is completely different (please read my other review on this one!). When I first got this it was very snug, but wearable; I found that after wearing it about three or four times it stretched considerably, and now it is fine. I would suggest to NOT go up to the next band size, but rather get an extender and just hook that into the back until it stretches for you. I love this bra so much, that I want to get it in all colors, lol!! I have the midnight/fushia, and the purple/multi, and I'm drooling over the new lavender/pink one. Must get it soon https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> All in all, a fabulous bra!! OH, and you have to get the matchiing briefs, sooo cute together!!!! Well, I would like to say that I love this bra, but I don't. I just like it. Sister sizes do not work with this bra style!!! I am only keeping it because I can't find the same color in my size of 30GG, and I have the matching briefs, so I'd rather keep it than sell it and not be able to find it. I have to wear it on the tightest hook. For some reason, Panache decided to only make the re-inforced straps and cups for the Ariza GG-K cups, and the D-G cups are not, but they do have a ...sheer upper cup that looks more lacey and pretty, unlike the GG-K. So, the 32G does NOT equal the 30GG in this style!!! I can only wear it for a few hours at a time, because the thin straps dig horribly into my shoulders. Ouch. It's so pretty, though!!! I love love love these colors; great under a navy cami when you want to show just a pop of color! I literally have scoured the internet looking for my elusive 30GG midnight/fuschia color, but to no avail. If perchance there is someone out there who has it, and wants the 32G instead, let's trade!!! I've only worn this maybe six times? It's in great shape, practically brand new, because I only wear it a few hours at a time. Read more 140 more words
I love this bra!! I have it in all seven colors, plus the matching briefs https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />) My only problem was that I had to go up two cup sizes to make it feel like a true full cup bra, and the pretty lace on the bottom of the cups sits low on my ribcage, so I had my seamstress sew it under on all of them, and it's perfect now. I first tried the 30H, as I was told I needed up to go up one size from my balcony style Panache bras, which I wear a 30GG in Panache. Well, the 30H just didn't cover the top of my breast enough; it fit more like a balcony! I love how the 30HH feels on me, it is just dreamy. The reason? With implants you need to feel really supported, and this stretch lace just feels like two hands holding you up all day in velvet gloves. Heavenly.
