This bra is made of stretch lace and was really comfortable. Unfortunately the stretch lace somewhat disguised how small this bra actually was for me, and the inappropriate size made it fit funny in other ways.
I got quite a lot of east-west in this bra, and the gore was not as low as I would have expected from a plunge. Admittedly I have a quite high chest so any gore at all feels higher than a plunge should be.
All around it didn't look terrible, and the color was nice despite pink not being my thing, but it was not a great fit for my shape and ...size. Someone with less side-boob and taller breasts/more upper fullness would rock this bra really well if it came in their size.
Unlike most other plunges, I think this one actually works quite well on breasts with softer tissue that normally falls into the center of plunge style bras. The stretch lace seemed to sort of prevent that by grabbing my boobs and gently pulling me outward. Since my boobs were so much bigger than the bra was designed for, though, my boobs got pulled a little too far outward for my taste.
The underwires were nice and wide like I would expect from Panache, but didn't come up as high as most other Panache Superbra models. This was great for me since my chest is so high; normally I would be stabbed in the armpit by a Panache bra in this size.
If you normally can't wear plunges because your tissue is soft, or because you're super full on top and normally get quad boob, the stretch lace on this bra is awesome. Read more 172 more words
This bra is much prettier up close than I expected it to be based on photos I had seen online. The pattern is embroidered on the top of the cup rather than just printed, and the thread has a slight sheen to it that really gives the fabric dimension and makes the orange pop.
I was in between sizes for this bra, I think due to my wide root. The top of the cup felt a little bit loose while everything else fit fine, including the wires. The cups have a very straight balconette cut decorated with scalloped edges, while straps attached on the traditional outer edge. I ...have narrow shoulders and didn't have trouble with the straps falling down, and also found that the straps were still wide set enough that the tops of the cups didn't peek out beneath my shirt where the straps attached. Best of both worlds on that front.
The band was quite firm, which I loved, and the gore tacked well without digging in.
There was some bunching of the outer fabric on the top of the cup where there may have been a manufacturing defect; basically the embroidered layer has a little wrinkle to it instead of being sewn totally flat to the cup material.
This bra doesn't have an inner side sling, nor does the seam pattern have one of those lifting panels that's basically a side sling incorporated into the cup design. Despite this, I think it did way better for my shape than many bras which do have those features. The lift was good, and I had very little east-west happening.
All around the bra was really comfortable, quite pretty, and supportive. Unfortunately it needs somebody with breasts that are slightly fuller on top than mine, I think! Read more 186 more words
I did not fill the bottom of the cups correctly and the top of the cups cut into tissue. Also did not like the elasticity of the straps, or the shape of the cups.
This bra is my favorite bra NOW but I literally had to break it in. When I first got it the band was a smidge too tight and the wires poked my underarms. BUT the gore tacked and the gore never tacks on me as I have very close breasts. I toughed it out and I'm glad I did. Now that the band has stretched out (it stretches to 39" now), it fits great and I have zero issues with the wires digging into my underarms as the bra seems to mould to your body shape the more you wear it. It reminds me a lot of how raw denim works. You gotta break that sucker in! Highly recommend it if you have close together, firm, full on the bottom, wide rooted breasts and patience.
I also really like how the straps are thin and it has only two clasps in the back so you can wear it under tank tops and flimsy dresses without looking like you're wearing a BRA.
Snagged this for $10 at my local Nordstrom Rack and I love it already. It feels a little tight, I May have to wear an extender for the first few months but I'm okay with that. It's gorgeous and the gore is low enough for me.
Edit: Wore for a full day with an extender and it would have been perfect if the underwire wasn't poking my armpits. I got really sore and there were red marks the next two days, I had to wear lower unferwires so it wouldn't hurt while healing :/ no broken skin, just red and sore.
I got this bra (Panache Harmony, black, size 28E) after buying it in black in 28DD and then finding it to be too small in the cup. This size fits perfectly, along with my other Harmony bra in size 28DD in nude.
The only difference is that the 28E has slightly longer wires than the 28DD, but I had no problems with poking or excess fabric on the sides. There was no weird flattening along the bottom of the cups, or wrinkles along the sides, or quadboobing, so I'm happyhttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
Got the size 28DD Panache Harmony balconette in black, because the 28DD in nude fit so well. However, the bottom of the cups on the black version are much shallower, resulting in some quadboobing on my bigger breast, and a very odd looking flattening/tightness across the bottom of my smaller breast. Another clue was the way the gore lifted ever so slightly away from my chest (only noticeable when compared to my other bras that do fit well).
Further proof: a few weeks after I bought this bra, I bought another black one in a 28E, which fit perfectly.
The band on this seems like it is on the big side for me.
The cups are too small, but I think even in the correct size the cups would cut into my soft tissue. Also I think the apex on these cups are a little low for me. It pulls my bustline down.
This bra never really fit me. I always thought it was beautiful, but the straps just won't get short enough. Even when I was the proper size, the cups fit wrong (not particularly too big or small, more like the depth was off). The band was fine for when I was that size.
This is a going out bra. I get a little chafe on the ribcage, which I just realized may be because I need to bring it in a hook or two.Other than that it's beautiful.
The band is too big—I can easily wear it on the tightest hook. The center gore is too high and/or too wide. It is on top of breast tissue on both sides and also pokes. The underwires are too low, and positioned too far to the sides (they’re on top of breast tissue in the middle and outside it on the side). The cups seem both too big and too small, I think partially because the wings aren’t high enough to hold the side tissue (so right after putting it on, I have quadraboob, but after a few minutes, there is wrinkling in the front and top of the cup). Also, the slightly elasticized top of the cup cuts off the top part of my breast.
This is the bra I have been dreaming about all of my life! It is super sexy and so supportive. Not the kind of bra I would wear to work ( I am director of a Child Day Care) but perfect for date nights with hubby. Gave me beautiful cleavage, I did not feel like I was going to fall out of it, and I never felt like my breast's were coming out of the bottom like most other bras do. I could have used 1 cup size larger for more coverage on one breast that's much larger, but it did not give that quad boob effect! Cant wait to try another Panache as this is my first!
I got this for a sleep bra because I found this at a cheaper price than the Sophie Support Bra. It has a loose band that rides up on me, but I actually like that because I don't need much support while sleeping. It doesn't give a good shape, but that doesn't matter to me either. The cotton lining is quite soft and comfortable, the lace irritates my skin slightly as it rubs against my armpits (The cups are quite wide). The cups are also really shallow and too small for me, but again it doesn't bother me since it's a sleep bra. I would really like it if this bra was made of mostly cotton.
This bra is awesome but it is too small for me. I need a 28FF instead of the 28F. It is beautiful on and I love the way it looked under a shirt but I had muffin top because cups were too small. It is brand new with tags. I ordered online and took a chance on size.
I'm not sure I'm entirely in love with the support - generally 3 hook backs feel a little better to me. However, it isn't horrible, and it does feel nice and breathable for summer.
ETA on fit - I'm going to redo my measurements, it seems to fit me better now so I think this might be a time-of-the-month thing. (The cup fabric has no stretch so it makes sense that it wouldn't adapt to a bit of extra fullness the way some other bras might.)
Just got this. I have a very little bit of spillage under the arm on my larger breast, but the wires are perfect, and I'm not spilling out the top. I like the side cup support on this.
I freaking love this bra. I'm having less armpit spillage as I experience re-migration.
The best fitting bra I own, even one year after I first bought it! Unfortunately getting a bit too loose in the band. Love the look, too.
The band was measured when the bra was already one year old. It's too loose now, so I assessed how it fit when it was new(er). I'm going to alter it in order for it to be less stretchier.
Was so excited to find this (and in deep pink!) at my local Nordstrom Rack. It's quite comfortable and while the gore is higher than I normally like it, its also skinnier than most others so it's not as uncomfortable. The lacey top of the bra is extremely stretchy, I think I like that, but I'm not 100% sure.
