This bra did not fit me, clearly. I'll do my best to comment on aspects other than the fit. The band is a good fit, I'd say it's squarely in the 28 category, so no need to size up or down. It's a little stretchy but the elastic is firm, and I had to really pull to get my stretched measurement. The straps are fully adjustable, for those of you who need it. The bra is really not the most charming thing I've ever owned, but the seams and embroidery are rather flat, and this comes in about a million colors, so it's a good candidate for an everyday ...bra. I find the mesh in the wings a bit thin (it's probably prone to emphasizing back fat, even if there isn't much to speak of). The mesh of the cups is really sturdy, though, with zero stretch at all. Actually, the comfort issue I had with the cups is that the seams are pressed to the inside, but the cup is single-layered. While they try to remedy discomfort with a strip of fabric over the seams, the edges of that really sturdy mesh are not completely covered and I found that they were very itchy. Now, my one comment on fit: This being Panache, the wires are somewhat wide (which I like), but contrary to most of their other styles, the cups here are very deep. To top it off, the top of the cups closes up pretty fast. It's not a look that I can fill out, and even more, it's not the type of plunge that will give lots of cleavage (especially in this size). Just be aware of that if you're thinking of buying. Read more 177 more words
Finally, a fitting bra! Boob twin, this one is a YES. Scoop one up if you can still find them on discount sites.
I tried this on when it arrived and I refuse to take it off just to measure it so I'll do that another day. It is firm but comfortable in the band, supportive, brings my boobs forward, doesn't smush them flat, and feels great!
The only downsides:
The shape it gives is pointy. For me, this is not an issue, but I know some people are dead set on a rounded shape. I think it looks just fine under a t-shirt but if you are more into foam moulded bras, this might be too big a first step in the other direction.
Also, the label is super itchy. I don't like cutting off bra labels so for now I have the tags tucked so they dangle down my back below the band.
I'm sure I'll have more thoughts as I begin to break this in.
Yea, I'm with you on this one. I love my Andorra. Personally, I like the shape it gives me.
I like my Andorra's as well, but it took a while before they didn't make every inch of skin the bras come in contact with ITCHY. I don't know if it's something they treat the bras with before they go out to retailers or what, but boobs, where the band touches the sides and back, and to a lesser extent where the straps are worn being itchy as heck makes it hard not to start scratching like crazy while in public places and no off-to-the-side area to do some covert scratching.
This is the only bra I have right now that "fits". Since I am new to proper fitting bras,I'm still uncertain if it's actually the most correct fit but it works for me. Both breasts fit fine after swoop n scoop, although since the right one is so much smaller there is a slight but very unnoticeable gap in the top of the cup. When I got the bra it was almost unbearable to wear because the band was so tight, but being new to this I though "oh that must mean I need to break it in!". It did eventually get looser and now aside from the fabric being ... itchy and rough (accidentally dried it),it fits great! I love how thin the fabric is and the lace is so lovely. I have to go buy some silk fabric to slip over the straps as they irritate my skin badly. As you can see from the pics it has already got wear on it just from being worn so much. I'm really hoping to find a bra that fits me like this one but with a softer fabric. It doesn't make my breasts look that spectacular, but it sure beats the god awful target/walmart bras I've been wearing my whole life. Read more 101 more words
This bra is so close to amazing for me that it makes me sad. The stretch lace is wonderful (unlined bras usually wrinkle like crazy on top for me, but this lays pretty flat), and the bra is very comfortable. The band must run tight, because I can wear it on the loosest hooks and it feels nice and snug on my 26" ribcage. Unfortunately, I am missing just a little too much breast volume on top to fill out the apex. I end up with a wrinkle where the upper lace meets the rest of the cup, and it makes the diagonal seam much too visible through clothing.
I am far-set, broad-rooted, splayed, conical, and very much full on bottom/outsides (shallow on top and center). If you are all of these things, except with more even/upper fullness, you will probably love this bra.
Another reddit braswap, this one from u/hello_kirby. I only tried it on real quick to take pictures and see how it fits -- first impression: Much better than the full cup version! No triangle titties here and the lace doesn't slide down my tall roots or wrinkle anywhere. It's just as comfortable and pretty as the full cup too! Yaaaay! I need to snag more of these (DISCONTINUED, WHYYY) before they disappear forever. I may return to edit this review after a full day of wear.
Edit: After wearing it for a day, this is definitely one of my favourite bras now. I pretty much completely forgot I was wearing it and at the end of the day, everything was still in place. Love love love!
This looks great on you! I have one in the same color that I got very cheap on eBay, so keep an eye out. They made this bra for a million seasons so you should be able to find it. It's so comfortable!
I agree, this is fabulous on you!!
thanks guys :D
What?!?! The plunge version doesn't give triangle titties?! I didn't know this! Ima need to get in on this!
there's a bunch of them on Amazon, but leave some for me!
I won't be ordering for a few weeks so you get first dibs!
Wow, that's a great fit. I've been avoiding this bra for some reason (though it keeps getting recommended to me) but it's totally on my list now.
Pros: This bra is very pretty with satiny straps, gore, and wings. I love the fuchsia Mulberry color. It gives a very projected shape and does not flatten or minimize. This bra is narrow-wire heaven for those of us who need that! The fit is very comfortable.
Cons: The band feels large because it stretches so easily. I was immediately able to fasten it on the tightest hooks. Also, I'm finding that I need a little bit less generous cup depth in bras that have a very projected cut. No amount of swooping and scooping was able to get rid of the looseness and wrinkling in the cups.
I'll be returning this but it would be perfect for someone who needs a 30 band, narrow wires, and a lot of projection.
This is a very pretty bra and I love the lace detailing on it. I have wide-set, shallow breasts and this bra seems to work with them, although it would be an even better fit if I was slightly more projected. The lace is very stretchy and comfortable while still looking very delicate and pretty.
The only weird thing about this bra for me is that it gives me a case of pointy boobs. The mesh side panel really brings my boobs front and center, and for some strange reason make them look pointier than I'm used to. I'm not sure I love the shape it gives me, but I'm going to try it and see how I like it.
This bra was my first step into finding a bra that actually fits! It's comfortable, pretty, and creates an amazing shape. The only major downside is that it can look rather pointy under clothes. But other than that, it's an amazing bra.
Just as comfortable as the 28D - Panache ยป Andorra Full Cup Bra (5675) , with a snug band and nicely adjustable straps and pretty okay slightly wide wires. The lace still slides a little though. The shape is certainly an improvement over the Fullcup imo. The blue is beautiful.
When I first put it on, this bra felt like a dream. The stretchy lace is very forgiving on the shallow upper portion of my taller roots. However, within in an hour, there was wrinkling along the horizontal/diagonal seam. If I was just a little more projected, I think this would work wonderfully, but it's just not quite shallow enough. No more horizontal or diagonal seams for me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Beautiful bra with outstanding side-support. I bought too small a size for me (it's deep purple" and I bought it very cheap to try out the size), but as soon as I can afford it I will buy an Andorra in 28something or a 30D. This bra is soft, stretchy, pretty, and comfortable, but, as far as I know, it seems to run small. This bra fits better than my Freya in 28D because the Andorra's underwires suit my shape more. I look forward to getting an Andorra in the proper size.
This is by far the most comfortable bra I have ever worn. The bar is incredibly low since I've yet to find a bra that fits, but still. The inner lining on the band and straps is super soft, and both are thick enough that they don't cut into my skin. The lace is pretty and shimmers in the light, but it's not scratchy. The outer and two lower panels on each cup don't have much give, so it gently pushes your tissue up and in, but the inner edge of each cup is elastic. It almost looked like I was wearing a push up bra because of ...how supportive the cups are. There's no underwire, but the channel where underwire would go is defined enough that my boobs didn't "escape" out the sides. The underwire channel seems pretty wide and flat, more of a flattened O than a U like a lot of bras. The cups are a little small for me - I think I'm more of a 28DD or even E - so my tissue kind of pushed the bra into a more "vintage" pointy shape. The stiff outer panels also cut into my tissue a bit so I almost had quadboob down the center of each cup, but the stretchy inner edge of each cup prevented any quadboobing in the normal spot. I think if I had ordered the right size I wouldn't have noticed any quadboobing or vintage pointiness. Read more 136 more words
Alright so I tried this bra in the same size about a year ago, when I was about a cup size smaller and a little shallower. I had some wrinkling in the upper lace section back then, so I thought it should fit all right now. And it does! The band is nice and snug, and I can actually comfortably wear it on the loosest hook! The lace is so soft and stretchy, making it great for my tall roots. There is some wrinkling on the bottom inner section of the cups, right below the diagonal seam, on my larger side. It's not very significant though, and only the diagonal seam shows through clothes.
One of the first bras I tried on in my AFTF journey and it fits incredibly well. The gore is just a touch too wide, meaning I get less of a pushup effect. Band is definitely on the tight side, which works well for me since I'm technically a 26 band. I have not experienced scratchy lace that others have mentioned and definitely no triangle titties. Overall very satisfied, just wish Panache didn't discontinue this style!
Panache's 'Andorra' is one of my very first properly fitted bras. Having a 25.5'' chest, 28'' bands that run tight are as close as it gets to a proper fit in my case, at least for the time being. (I have been judged to be a 26DD/E at a recent bra fitting).
This bra is very nice. The quality of the lace is very good - it's soft, doesn't scratch or irritate my skin, and looks beautiful on. I bought the deep red 'Scarlet' version - it's much darker than in the stock photos, which I like. Aesthetics aside, the fit of is judged by me to be satisfactory - ...for an unpadded model, the projection and side support it gives is impressive. Being a shallow/wide + tall root/wide-set/uneven silhouette type, I feel surprisingly good wearing something this revealing. The fit of this bra is very forgiving due to the stretchy lace on top of the cups - take note if you have uneven breasts (they won't be noticeable while wearing this-the lace will be flush with both of them).
Two things I'm slightly in two minds about, which make me wonder whether this is the right model/size for me, are: 1. This is supposedly a 'full cup' model, however the cups aren't that tall. They end roughly where my Comexim half-cups would end - meaning, this fits me more like a half-cup than a full-cup. Not sure whether I should perhaps try it in 28DD (but then again, the cup could end up being too deep) - I just thought it was supposed to cover more surface area, if that makes any sense. 2. The shape this model gives me, is, as other reviewers said above, ever-so-slightly pointy. In my case, it seems to be attributable to the fact that being made of thin lace, it doesn't really disguise nipples that well. I've read that this sometimes happens with FOT silhouette types (though I consider myself FOB, so that theory could not be applicable here). Read more 223 more words
The lace keep sliding down my boob and wrinkling https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />( Otherwise the fit and comfort is spot on. I appreciate how the straps are smooth and don't have those frill things (lookin' at you, Freya). Not really a fan of the pointy shape, either.
Yea, I'm with you on this one. I love my Andorra. Personally, I like the shape it gives me.
