The 30K of this bra is too small. The band is too tight (I'm wearing an extender for these pictures) and the cups are slightly small. Check out my review for the 32K Tango in the pink Color for more information and how this bra can fit better.
Don't have many bras that currently fit me, so I still wear this bra occasionally. It gives me very good support and uplift. The shape is okay, although I prefer a more front and center shape compared to the slight east-west appearance of Tango. The cups are deep and roomy in all directions, but not in the top section. So ...if you are full on top, this could be difficult. But I have to say, that I have had worse fits with full cup bras than the Tango. So it is not a full-on-top friendly bra but still better than many others.
30K, even though it is too small, to me is much more comfortable to wear than my 32K and that is only because of the center gore. On the 32K the center gore is 13cm tall, and it very much hurts me. It is too tall for me. On the 30K the gore is 11cm tall, which works just fine and does not hurt me. Just for that reason I prefer to wear a too small 30K over a 32K that actually fits. The things you have to do for comfort…
Oh and I have to say, that for me it is not quadboob, if it not visible under clothing. That's just something when you are at the upper end of the size charts you learn to make things work. But technically I have slight quadboob in this bra and also cutting in of the cups under my arms. So this bra is wearable to me but not a proper fit. Read more 201 more words
Yeah, if there's one thing I don't miss from panache is their wires at the gore. I love the colour though!
Personally Tango has never worked with my shape but this doesn't look too bad. And yeah I can understand that about the minor cutting in..I usually just compromise if it doesn't show through. Or find a way to work it if it does, sometimes I have no choice. Lol
Yes it is not that bad. Imo one of the best bras big cup sizes when it comes to support and uplift. That's why it's still around after all those years. The band and cups are really designed for hard work of lifting heavy boobs and not put too much pressure on straps. I rather have great support and no pain on my neck from too much weight on should straps than a flimsy bra with stretchy lace with no quadboob but also no support.
I honestly wish I could say the same for Tango, because it's a no go for me. I didn't even know it could give that kind of shape..lol.. As for me, stretch lace is an absolute must (it doesn't always work, but it does better my chances of a fit).
It's always amazing to see how different shapes can affect fit and how they work with different styles.
I still don't know why the Tango somewhat works for me. Back in the day everyone told me to avoid it with my full on top shape, but I ordered one and was impressed. The Panache bras with stretchy top section were such fails for me, because they felt flimsy and unsupportive because of that. I felt like so much pressure was put on the shoulder straps because the bra cups would not hold in my boobs properly.
I got a great deal on this bra from someone who ordered the wrong size from (zulilly maybe?). Its a discontinued bra (and super cheap on amazon right now). While most reviewers found the band to run tight, this 30 runs large - the previous owner measured it at 32, but I measured it at 31.5. While i could close it without an extender, I felt the cups were slightly flattened, so I used an extender for the pictures and will wear an extender for probably the first month or so.
As you can see from the pictures, the fit of this bra is just ...'eh'. Other women in the larger cup range also commented that this is just the least supportive Panache we've seen. Now, the cup also might run a tad big - it measures in between my 32JJ cups, but is a bit loose on top. But definitely a droopy sort of fit for me.
I actually like the lace pattern, but its basically just a beige bra. However - I do not currently own any beige bras that fit! So at least I can wear that white shirt without the color of the bra being visible!
I will keep it for a beige option and an easy-wear option. Not exciting, but worth it for the price I paid.
I wonder if an Ewa pad in the bottom would help? Read more 131 more words
Do you sew at all? Even by hand? I swear I have seen the perfect tutorial for fixing this exact problem on a blog and the girl (woman, sorry. I'm 30 and still call my peers girl) hand sewed and little seam in the cups and it totally changed the shape and supported her breasts more. Hopefully my rambling will spark someone else's memory and they will post the link because I can't for the life if me remember who it was.
I have a plain beige bra that fits similarly, it's about right most of the time to changes of a 1/4 to a half cup size larger than I'd like based on where I am with weight fluctuation. Padding might help, if you have some handy, try them and let us know if it improves the fit!
I've tacked the top of the cup to the gore or strap before to get a better fit on top.
The red/floral colourway is gorgeous, but it just doesn't fit. I'm about a 30KK in most bras now (30K Ariza slightly too small, 30K Brav balconettes slightly too small), and this seems to be too big. There's excess material at the top of the cup (by the strap), and I have wrinkling at the bottom/side (though I think this is more due to the shape/width of the wires).
The band and cups both run big, so I would say the 30K fits more like a "standard" 32K (possibly KK). The wires are slightly wider than the Ariza's, so they're relatively narrow/mid-range, though they are lower at the side. I ...found the straps pretty wide-set and the side of the cup quite tall, which meant the cup cuts into my arms if I try to tighten the straps. On that note, the straps are only partially adjustable - the most you can shorten them by is about two inches, nowhere near enough for me, so they're no good for anyone who needs short straps.
I'm planning on exchanging for a 30JJ (possibly 30J), so we'll see if that works any better. A 28K would be preferable, but no 28s from Bravissimo. It did seem to give a pretty good shape, so hopefully I can find a half-decent size. Read more 107 more words
Bought this bra from Zulily based on my Kris Line sizing....big mistake!! Haha, it is huge on me. My breasts bounce around like pinballs in the cups! Gorgeous bra though, I wish it fit!
TangoII 30K mint green (figleaves exclusive color) This bra is not such a bad fit. The band feels a bit too tight so I wear it with an extender. The cups kinda push my boobs flat since they are very closed on top. The shape is not as round as I'd like also a bit too east west from the front. The wires of the gore are quite tall and poke since my boobs are very close set. Overall the bra is very supportive and I recommend it for heavy (full on bottom) boobs. I prefer other bras over the Tango but it's not a bad bra, if it goes ...with your shape. It's very supportive even in a 32K.
What I like about that bra: - Very supportive - Stable construction / strong wires - Shoulder straps are lightly padded - no jiggling, no need to adjust the bra during the day
What I don’t like: - shape-mismatch, cups are too closed on top for my full on top boobs - The shoulder straps are not fully adjustable. - The bra needs time (and 1-2 washes) to break in. - Since my breasts are very close set, the center gore does poke a bit (but it gets better with time) - Shape : A bit too east – west for my liking
I read that this bra ran very narrow, deep and generously, but it still isn't quite right for me. The band seems to get looser in higher cup sizes - this fits more like a 32 band, so I'd say it fits like a "standard" 32JJ. The wires are definitely narrow, but I wouldn't say it's particularly deep in this size. It doesn't bring you up and centre, it's more of an hourglass-from-the-front bra.
I found the wires to dig into my armpit horribly, so much I'm considering unpicking the wire channel and shortening the wire, though the sides would still come up too high. Apparently some other colourways ...are lower at the arm, so I might have to look for those. I will say that the wires are very firm, so they stay U-shaped, rather than stretching back with the band. The gore doesn't sit flat on me, and if I hold it flat it's clear I need about a cup up. I might try bending the wires to see if it relieves the armpit digging/floating gore, but I don't know if I'm going to buy any more of this style. Ideally I think I'd need a 28L in this bra, rather than my proper size of 30KK. Read more 100 more words
I have to admit I went into mild shock when I got my Ariza out of its packaging. The photos I've seen of the violet mix colourway just don't do justice to how bright this bra is. If you like very flamboyant colours, this may be a bra for you.
The colour of the bra aside, it's a 3 piece balconette made with the usual Panache sturdiness. The straps are relatively thin for a bra of this size, and only half adjustable, with the buckles sliding down towards your back instead of up towards your shoulders.
Some good things about the bra? The band on it is thick and very ...sturdy underneath your breasts. While it is fairly stretchy, it still seems as though it would be supportive when not stretched out a lot. The wires don't distort much with wear, which can be a hard thing to achieve in large cup sizes.
Unfortunately though, it's just not the right fit for me. The underwires are so tall and wide that they poke me under the arms. This throws out the shape of the cup so I have baggy sides and bottom of the cup, and not enough room in the centre, where I spill out. The gore is unpleasantly wide on my very close-set breasts, and so sits out and against my breast tissue. The band is too long for me, which is unsurprising as I sized up to get a good cup volume. I also found that the straps didn't adjust to be short enough, and owing to the design of the adjustment, I couldn't readily make them any shorter.
I feel like this could be a wonderful bra for someone with a slightly larger frame and lower set breasts than I have. It seems as though the overall design could be quite comfortable if the bra was the right shape for your body. Panache does know how to make very large cup bras, it's just that they don't seem to make them for me. Read more 225 more words
Finally! A bra that reaches around my root and actually is shaped the way my boobs are.
My boobs are teardrop shaped but with a wider top, full on top but acting full on bottom compared to bras since they are teardrop shaped and migrated. My ribcage is curved so my boobs also naturally faces east and west.
This bra fits the bill adding coverage where I need it which is practially everywhere since my root is huge and I have migrated my boobs the madness away.
I do have to alter it a lot to fit me but I am quite sure it will actually fit. ...
My main complaints lays in the band; it's not only extremely tight but also very wide under the wires so it's almost like wearing a mini longline. I am almost thinking about cutting it off since it pokes my stomach terribly.
I have so far altered the gore. I know I will need to move the straps because they are outside of my shoulders. But as far as I can tell that should give me a bra that actually does fit.
The material is very very soft against the skin. I also like the so called nude color even if it doesn't look nude on my pinkish skin https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" /> Read more 114 more words
It sounds like you can make something out of it :)) And I have warned you about the band... :/ I don't know if this have even been done (but why not do your user name justice :D) but you could exchange the band from the non stretchy part of the wings with a Freya (or another band depends on which bra you have around to slaughter) band and see how it goes?! I mean change a whole band. Crazy, no? :D
The problem is in the front where my stomach is poked so I think I might cut it off in the bottom of the gore to somewhere around the vertical seam and turn it partially into a partial banded bra (pun intended) or something. Adding another band in the back would also be my style so thanks for that tip :D
And maybe also I will get a 32JJ to compare with :)
before cutting it off, consider my method: folding it outwards and fix is with a few stitches. 32jj is aviable for 0.99£ on ebay ;) I though about trying a 32K for science :D
Oh doesn't it make it bulky under clothes? But then again maybe not. Is it the BIHAL Tease Me alteration? How do do it when the gore is already taken in? The bra will become extremely thick there?
I'll check on Ebay for the 32JJ then :D Also I still kind of want a larger Ariza.
:D do you want a 32K Ariza too? I'm so curious. I don't recall BIHALs tease me... oh yes I think it's that one. It depends if you are wearing a superthin super tight t-shirt but I had no issues so far. Just sew a bit "carefully".
Ok, I'll try it. And yes I want a 32K Ariza or even 34JJ if they have better bands. And I want the old version :D
I LOVE the old version!! It's so much better imo. Newer versions cause me more problems though they are still good bras. here we have 2 old Arizas in 32K one for you and one for me:D :D http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111059814280?var=410173487065&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 Too bad they only ship to UK but we could ask if someone from the UK would order it and sent it to us? I just love that colorway <3
That's pretty yes. But how to know the clarity of that color? :D Is it the soft version or the clear version? So confused. A muted pink will not look as good on me as a clearer one.
I think the Harmony Balconette is a good style for you too.
This bra is one of my everyday favorites. Since my 30JJ got a bit small, I decided to size up to 30K. The size is spot - on. The band felt a bit tight at first and the whole material felt stiff and scratchy, but with a few wears it gets better. It's a very supportive bra. The color is a beautiful jade green. It an older color, not the Bravissimo exclusive one.
What I like about it:
- Very supportive - Stable construction - Wires are strong and don’t distort - High center gore adds extra support for (medium) soft center heavy breasts (which tend to fall out of plunges) - Shoulder straps are lightly padded - ...Wide band provides extra support & minimizes back fat - It comes in basic colors and several pretty fashion colors - It’s aviable for cheap prices on ebay - round natural looking shape from the side - no jiggling, no need to adjust the bra during the day
What I don’t like: - The shoulder straps are not fully adjustable. - The bra needs time (and 1-2 washes) to break in. - Since my breasts are very close set, the center gore does poke a bit (but it gets better with time) - Shape : A bit too east – west for my liking Read more 96 more words
Why isn’t this bra as popular as the Panache Tango? It comes in seasonal prints and just from looks it does remind me a bit of Cleo balconettes.
I read that it runs a bit small so I decided to size up to a 30K. I should have sticked to my usual Panache size though. The band does feel good. It felt supportive, broad with just the right amount of stretch, gives good support and minimizes back-fat too.
The cups are too big for me in this one. I can’t fill the top. Also that lace on top does stick out weirdly and does show under a tight top. The ...wires are a tiny bit too wide, I and I have a bit empty fabric on bottom of the cups and on the side. The bra is labelled as balconette but I found it quite high coverage. I personally like that, It gives me more support.
Shoulder straps are not fully adjustable (at least if you don’t want to use force) I found them quite comfy, although a tiny bit too seperated but I have this issue with all my bras. The shape it gave me was better than expected, though not as round as on Cleo bras but far from being pointy.
Appearance: The colors on this one are brighter than on the pictures. The print is a bit “too much” for my taste. Comfort: quite good, no complaints. Quality: usual Panache Quality Overall: 4/5
Panache Paloma 30K I am adding this bra for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database. I returned this one prior to taking full measurements or photos. Sorry!
Paloma is an unpadded underwire balconette bra. The color/pattern is Black with red, grey, and white wispy splash on the cups. It is labeled as orange but there isn’t any orange on it. The red has a very slight orange hue to it, but it is what I’d call red way before orange. I tried this bra in 30J (twice), 30JJ, & 30K. This review is for the 30K.
The band ...measured 27” to a max of 31” Cup Depth as measured by: 1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance. This measurement is: 15.5”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance. This measurement is: 17”
I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.
Very painful underwires in armpit, I originally thought cup was too large, gained a little, swooped and scooped and now it's cutting on my left side. Wings are also too high in the armpit.
This used to be my favourite bra for a long time. Sadly my boobs decided to grow again. I need now a 32K/32KK in other Panache bras (like Floris and Melody) and probably a 32L in Ariza.
pros + + gives a uplifted round shape + full on top friendly + very sturdy construction + wires are a bit narrower than on most panache bras (Tango, Melody, Floris) + band is very firm and barely stretches out with wear + very supportive, gives "boobs of steel" feeling
cons - - fabric is a bit itchy at first wears - shoulder straps can dig in - wire pain since the wires are very very stiff (but that also makes the bra so supportive for big / heavy boobs) but also note that I get pain from wires digging in in all my bras when I wear them a full day, because the bras have to carry a lot of weight
This band is too small, I have to wear an extender with it. The underwire on the sides and the straps all dig in and make it slightly uncomfortable. I'd prefer this one in a 32 band and a J or JJ cup I think. I don't quadboob but I come close. It's an okay bra, I'm either going to return it or try to see if it will stretch out and become comfortable.
I'll start by saying that I'm glad I didn't completely give up on the tango after the last one I tried. Since the last one was altered at the gore, I had plenty of extra fabric at the tops of the cups. In this one, I still have some extra top fabric, but not nearly as much. I still have my typical Panache stabbies, but it's not that bad.
Pros: Beautiful color, nice details Fairly comfortable Slightly padded shoulder straps Improvement over Tango II Good support
Cons: Underwire can still dig into you a bit Could still be even comfier, but most bras could Shape doesn't work for me (full on top, close together, pendulous)
This bra is so nice and luxurious especially compared to the Tango II. It gets rid of many of the itchy elements and replaces them with satin, while introducing a lovely color and very nice satin shoulder straps and a pretty little ring of rhinestones on the center gore. It doesn't come up as high under the arm for me either. However, the band was too tight for me, ...and the cups a little too small, causing quadraboob. I would love to get this again in a 32K as it is a fairly comfortable everyday bra that, in my opinion, should have replaced the Tango II rather than being a limited edition. It is surprisingly one of my best fitting bras despite having narrow, deep breasts. I can see why this is one of Panache 's best selling shapes as it seems to work for a variety of shapes. I previously tried out the 30JJ Jasmine and was pleased enough with it to want to try the size up. I got this bra in the new pink/champagne colourway, which in my opinion is gorgeous! It's light enough in colour to be unobtrusive under light coloured clothing, though the stretch lace can show up a little.
The bra has partially adjustable straps, but it's possible to force the adjuster over the padded section of the straps as well. It has 3 rows of 3 columns of fastenings. The 4-part cup is very supportive in its design.
The bra has the usual Panache sturdy quality with a very stable construction. The ...stretch lace on top is quite accommodating, as I'm finding many other bras I have/have tried in 30K are too small currently in the cups, but this is a good fit.
The band is too long, but I'd ideally wear a very snug 28 or 26 band, though I'm forced to size up for appropriate cup volume. It's quite stable though, and even though a bit loose in the band, the bra stays in place without the straps up.
I could do with closer-set straps, and narrower cups. I have quite a bit of wasted space at the sides of the bra. The gore is also too wide-set, but I hope to take it in to improve the fit.
I'd say that this would be a lovely bra for someone with a wider root than I who wears around a 30K/KK. The stretch lace would mean I think it would work well on fuller on top, fuller on bottom or balanced shapes, and also accommodate some breast asymmetry.
Edit: After shortening the band, altering the gore and bringing in the straps a bit, this is probably my favourite bra I have in rotation at the moment. It's not a perfect fit by any means, and I find that the wires do dig in under my breasts and at my sides a bit after a few hours of wear (all my bras do this), but the shape and support it gives and the aesthetics are all excellent. I'd definitely recommend Jasmine as an everyday bra for larger busted women. Panache- can we have this in some plain colourways please? It's much nicer than your Tango II. Read more 271 more words
Normally a 32back, got this in a sale too cheap to resist, so wear it with an extender.
The wires are very long/wide. They practically sit on my back. Even with an extender making the back part longer!
At first I found this comfortable, finally no overspill in those areas and can scoop everything forward including my back fat into it (ha)
However after a couple of hours the wire really began to hurt.
The bra felt as if it got tighter and tighter as the day goes on and started digging in everywhere.
I think it may just need 'wearing in more'
I also noticed how low it sits on my ribs, and ...the fact the wire wont go fully under the breasts it sits a little down, if you try pull it up into place the wire would have to cut through your underarm, so naturally it just pushes it down over the day.
You can only tighten the straps half way and ideally I need them much shorter for this style of bra to hoist me up otherwise it is an unflattering shape on someone with a small squished up torso (long legs)
From what was an initial good try on, thinking this bra is not quite right for me.
Lol
