  1. Porcelain Plunge (3371)

    Short version-
Like the standard Porcelain, the band is not continuous, and the cups are seamless and molded. The contour material is a good deal thinner than an EM plunge or Freya Deco or padded half-cup, which has its ups and downs (feels lighter, but less nipple modesty). Fully adjustable straps!

This bra stays in place during the day, and I had only a bit of spillage towards the middle after several hours (so far true of all plunge bras I’ve tried, because my tissue is on the soft side). The band is what I would call an ‘average’ 32, does not come up tight as many Panache bras do, ... but not as stretchy as the Freya bras I’ve worn. The straps did not seem as widely set as the standard Porcelain, but one’s mileage may vary. The cups fit just right in a 32G (what I wear in the majority of bras).

There is fabric at the bottom of the cup where it doesn’t curve out at all, but this seems to be the design to provide support. It didn’t feel like the orange-in-a-glass effect which I get with some bras that have very little room at the bottom of the cup. The fabric doesn’t fold over, just tacks against the skin. It may not be for everyone, but suited me just fine and was calibrated for the appropriate size.

Smooth and sleek, this works great for me under fitted or knit tops. The Porcelain Plunge doesn’t give my breasts a ton of lift or projection, but the shape is pretty round and front-and-center.

The new multiway by Panache, this bra fits me quite oddly - the cup is big at the bottom, but I have a bulge anyways, as if the cup was too small. However, I think this just has to see with the way my breasts are, plunge bras don't usually look good on me.

The underwire is really broad and therefore digs a bit in the underarm area, but since it's not too long, it's okay.
Also, padding makes a pointy shape.

In a word, this bra doesn't fit me as well as it could, but that's the deepest plunge I've ever found in this kind of sizes (it doesn't show, ever, and I have clothes with a lot of cleavage), and so it does the trick.
    Definitely not an everyday bra.

Many volumes have been written about this bra, so I won't belabor the typical comments. I, like others get a more pointy shape with Jasmine. There is ever so slightly too much projection at the apex for me.

I was comparing this to other bras in my drawer and happened to notice the cut of this is similar to my Kinga Michelle (http://bra.pe/XZnc/), but that bra seems to fit me almost perfectly right now (new pics added today). The cut of the lower cup on the Kinga seems to gives a rounder shape, but then again, I think it's technically a cup size smaller. That ... said, they are only measuring 1cm difference in depth, and the Jasmine has more stretch while Michelle's fabric is firm.

All in all, not bad, not great. I think I would fit better in a 32FF in this model. In the mean time, I'm planning on a minor alteration to remove some fullness at the apex.

Me: short & narrow roots, center full, close set, pendulous, petite, short waisted, low set, fairly even fullness, narrow shoulders, soft.

I really wanted to love this bra. But it is just too shallow and too wide for me. I keep wearing it and trying to deal with that, but I don't think I ever will be able to.

The fabric is soft and the edge fits up against my breast flush, but there is a 1/2" or so space between the underwire and my breast.

  5. Andorra Plunge (5676)

This bra is a godsend that matches my tastes almost perfectly. The cups are unlined, with no padding, and feel barely-there. It's worth noting that the all-lace cup is something I'd be wary of if I'd only seen it and not felt it, but no worries. I am the type of person that refuses to buy something that itches even a little, and this was something I didn't even feel.
The band is a firm, unexpectedly sturdy one that I fastened on the loosest setting. It will likely do well over time. As it was almost too tight, I tried on a 34G as well. I had to fasten ... that one on the tightest setting for a perfect fit, which wouldn't hold up well to any stretching. The gore would probably be too far apart for those with closer-set, narrower breasts, but was perfect for my own wide set ones.
I'm petite, so I found the wires were a bit too long. I bent them slightly at the middles and sides to remedy that, and now it fits just fine all around.
The shape was a natural one that looked a little odd on the shirtless side view, but was just fine from both side and front under a shirt. I do admit that I'm wearing it for comfort more so than looks, though. This is a lightly structured plunge, so it doesn't suit my soft, bottom heavy breasts as well as a half-cup or balconette might.

Panache are the closest thing I've found in Australia to a bra that fits, but a 32FF is too small in the cup, and the underwire in the 32G is more than half the band width, so it ends up digging into my armpits, and interfering with my lats if I reach forward. The two-hook closure seems like a waste of time in a G-cup bra, too.

The 32G Envy is slightly different than the other sizes in that it has 2 hooks and “noodle” straps as I like to call them. Definitely not as secure as 3 hooks.

In this size, I slightly quad out of the top of the cups after wearing it for a while. I’m nervous that a 32GG would be too big.

I tried this bra in pearl and first off may I say this is a beautiful creamy pink color. Second, this is a completely unlined bra with side support panels but all the fabric and the lace is quite soft, though can be prone to snags if you have dry scratchy hands like me. The top of the cup is stretch lace, so it does a good job even with mild-moderate asymmetry. The only thing I didn't like about this bra was that it still did not have enough immediate projection for me so the underwire ends up sliding down about an inch below my IMF to accommodate. This bra is probably ideal for someone with narrow roots but more average projection.

Specifically, what do you like about Clara - the upper cup stretch lace, the (shallower) depth, the relatively high gore & full coverage..

      - Panache Jasmine and Envy? Similar stretch lace but they are a bit deeper.
      - Maybe Andorra? Similar depth + coverage and even more stretchy I think.
      - Ewa Michalak BM? Also stretchy but maybe too deep.

    • I absolutely love Clara, and so I would suggest following bras:
      Cleo Marcie Balconnet Bra (6831)
Fifty Shades Darker By Coco De M Goddess Plunge Bra
Scantilly Pounce Padded Balcony Bra (ST2101)

    • I'm a fan of Clara. My most similar to fit to that is my Panache Envy Balconnet Bra (7285) , and I also like my Cleo Lucy Balconnet Bra (5851) . That's pretty much my whole bra wardrobe, other than a couple Cleo Juna Balconnet Bra (6461) (sized down a band & up a cup or two).

    • I believe the Idina Balconnet Bra is the same cut as the Clara, you might want to try this also.

    • 1

Panache Penny, Floris, definitely Andorra. I would only try Envy, Jasmine and Thea if you can handle more projection/less shallowness. Out of the three of those, Thea is the most similar to Clara but is designed for "heavier breasts" and has more projection.

Honestly, this bra fits me very similarly to my 32G - Panache Black » Esme Balconnet Bra (9031). I'm pretty sure it's the same (or very similar) cut, which would make this bra a lacy, slightly more see-through version of the Jasmine. The only difference is that the Colette does not have stretch lace, and the Esme is made of nicer-feeling materials, but that's likely since the Colette is a mainstream Panache rather than a Panache Black. It doesn't feel bad, just the tiniest bit stiff. The claret colorway is gorgeous and subtle.

This bra fits me great, I'd say the band fits true-to-size or a touch firmer. As with all Panaches the wires are hard as rocks, and the gore is quite high on this bra, but if you like the Jasmine and want something a bit less loud you'll probably like the Colette.

Mhmm this bra, I had really hoped would fit well since it's so cute and I got it nwot cheap, but it has one fatal flaw for me: there is an elastic about 1/2" from the top that's probably to tighten it for FOB short root ladies. I don't usually have wrinkling issues (except in FoT designed bras since my tall roots are shallow) but this creates a weird side view while my breasts try to stretch that elastic. I am more even/ slightly FoB with need for immediate projection, center full with close set breasts. If it didn't have that elastic strip, it would be a winner. So disappointed but I'll try and find a new home for it once I get around to listing all of the bras that don't fit or that I have shape issues with.

    • Huh, thats a cool looking bra.

I am a huge Floris fan, and when they came out with Olivia, it was based on the Floris - but its got an elastic band at the top, which cut in to me (and I guess I'm a bit OCD about that - it barely showed through clothes, only if you are looking for it, but it ruined it for me)

    • 1

I think i know what you're talking about, and here's a tutorial for removing it https://brasticmeasures.wordpress.com/2014/10/06/alteration-removing-the-elastic-under-the-top-lace-of-a-bra/

    • wild_muses thats exactly what I'm talking about, it's just clear elastic. I love you haha, seriously thank you I need to get me a seam ripper (or search for one cuz I might have one hiding somewhere).

dbmamaz i agree it's a cute bra, hopefully I can remove that elastic so I can wear it. It's so cute

  16. Jasmine Balconnet Bra (6951)

This is a very good bra - if not the most exciting ever. The pattern, while muted, is quite elegant. It's comfortable (though the narrow straps do make for a slight shoulder indent after long wear). The vertically seamed lower cup (in 3 pieces) is very supportive and uplifting and it abuts an upper cup that is made of very stretchy lace. This is what makes the bra so well-suited to women of differently sized breasts. The very stretchy upper cup allows for dispersion of fullness. And although the cup seaming is vertical, the shape of the (non-stretch) lower cup is the same as one that's done in the typical 3-piece shape having a diagonal seam. Overall, I think this works well on a full-through-centre, deep breast or one which is full on top.

Not a perfect fit but way better than my old way too small 34D strapless. The center gore is a little too wide for narrow set boobs, so I cinched it in with a safety pin. The band seems to run a bit big so I would recommend sizing down a band size. The cups are too big for me, and I probably should go down a cup size. I think a 30G would fit better.

I like this bra a lot. I had to size up in the cups. When it first arrived I was scared because the band looked tiny, but it is really stretchy so it fits true to size. The lace on the top of the cup is really stretchy too, which will prevent any quad-boobing. It gives me a nice round shape and doesn't separate my boobs, which is a pet peeve of mine. One issue I have with this bra is that because the cups are so stretchy, it can be quite bouncy. I don't feel like I will escape the bra, because it does come up high ... enough, but I would not recommend trying to run in it for any reason.

My main problem with this bra is that the underwire is so wide, it goes about an inch and a half past the end of my breast tissue and the wire pokes me back by the inner side of my shoulder blade. I've tried bending the wires away from me to stop the poking, but ideally I would have sent it back when I realized the issue.

I want to love this bra, but the underwire just does not work for me.

Plunges have always been a tough fit for me, and unfortunately, this is no exception. The cups are wide and shallow, which I like in a half cup bra like the CK tease me or Freya's half cup offerings, but when the boobs have the option of oozing into the middle of my chest, wide shallow cups are a bad thing for me. This would be a great bra for someone with wide-set breasts that wanted a bit more cleavage than the average bra will give them. In fact, it seems designed for that purpose, the cups are very shallow on the edges, pushing wide-set ... breasts toward a more open area in the center and center edge of the cup. Voila! Instant va va voom for the cleavage challenged. Unfortunately, I have no need of help in that department; my boobs always want to be together. The bra itself is very nice; the cups are a smooth shiny satin, but the lining is cotton and very comfortable. The straps are convertible...I really need to find a bra like this that will fit my breasts https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

  20. Porcelain Moulded T-shirt Bra (3376)

This bra is highly modest- molded and covers quite a bit solidly. The nude color is lighter than my skin tone, but it’s still better than white under thin tops. This makes a great t-shirt bra, it does disappear under clothes if it fits you. No cleavage, just a smooth transition. Doesn’t really lift the front much, but does round everything out. If you want a more ‘natural’ shape I’d steer clear.
As for the fit, it works excellently on my bottom-heavy and separate breasts. The straps are quite far apart so you may want to fasten them tight- I have 44″ shoulders and the straps were slipping off ... quite a bit before I tightened them up! Furthermore, the underwires are long and go around further and up to your armpits, which could be a problem if you are rather petite or have narrow breasts.

The band is looser than other Panache bras I’ve tried- a 32FF in the Freya Deco (Pistachio) was way too tight, but the 32G here is comfortably tight! If you are between cup sizes go up one, as this model is known to run small in the cup.

Many photos of this bra show some cleavage, which you won’t get if you are shallow profiled. The band is not continuous, so it could probably be more supportive. Unfortunately, this bra only goes from D-G. The Plunge version, which I haven’t tried, goes up to an H, but I don’t know how that fits. I’m definitely curious, though! I wear this bra as an everyday bra, since it’s comfortable and doesn’t show through my tight-fitting tank tops (I have two in nude, which is lighter than my skin, and have ordered one in black). Not sure how this bra would work with a full-on-top shape.
