I love this bra. I had my doubts about it being a "full cup" but it's not matronly at all. I'd highly recommend it. I love the shape of this bra. It's demure yet very round. It's also very comfortable!
I understand why women rave about this bra, but I still don't like it. I feel kind of jiggly in it. Nipple shows prominently (sometimes seam placement holds them down but not for me in this bra). The way the lace stretches across is very forgiving but not very supportive so when I bend over I feel like I'm spilling out. I also really don't like how high and firm the wires come under the arms- they are super jabby to the point where I have an aversion to putting the bra on because I feel like I have to be very careful not to stab myself. I ...LOVE the gore- it is very comfortably narrow and short so my close-set breasts are delighted with it. The material is nothing special I don't think, it's like a weird combination of feeling very sturdy/scratchy but also very delicate. I wouldn't dream of tossing it in a lingerie bag in the washing machine on a delicate cycle, which makes me think it might not be the greatest everyday bra for me. As much as I love the smooth rounded forward shape once I'm situated in the cups, I don't think this is a keeper for me. Oh, and the straps are ridiculously wide-set so they constantly slip off of my shoulders.
Would be a great bra for someone with firmer tissue, wider shoulders, and less concern over modesty. Read more 128 more words
This bra seemed comfortable but was not a good shape match for me. The cup and band fit well. The gore and sides were too tall and caused the wires to dig. The straps were too far apart in front and cut into my underarms. I liked the height of the cup itself and thought it was beautiful. There was a bit of wrinkling at the bottom of the cup, so I think it was a touch shallow for me.
I reaaallllyyy wanted this bra to work for me because the fabric is so incredibly soft. But it just wasn't a good fit overall. It is wide, so the straps cut into my armpits. The gore came up too high for me and the cups were about a size too large. The bra seemed like it would be very comfortable if it wasn't such a shape mismatch.
Try two cup sizes smaller, 34GG. I think the cup volume is too big with the excess fabric in the armpit and top of cup. I think it’ll actually work for you, even the fire will be shorter.
This fits well enough but the lace is a bit too stretchy. I've an even girl and this was recommended for me. I can definitely fill out the bottom but there is a bit of loose fabric at the top. No wrinkles, just empty fabric. Especially empty near bottom of the strap and upper outer part of the breast area. It provides very little uplift and the cups feel somewhat loose. If you like the natural look, this is a good bra choice. The straps also don't adjust all the way or even half way up. Think the main problem I have with this bra ...could be remedied if the straps adjusted shorter. Its very comfortable. The wires aren't poking under my armpits the gore lays completely flat and doesn't move. The band itself is true to size, not too tight or too loose. Normally wear a 34 HH or a 32J, think this would have worked better for me in a 34 H. After a lot of wear the band does loosen up, more so than other Panaches I've owned. I have the coral color and its pretty and feminine. Think this is a great 'house' bra because its comfortable and provides light support. Read more 103 more words
Pros: Good accommodation for close-set, wide root, pendulous, and Full All Over (aaaaaaall over). The band is firm without being painful and the wires are surprisingly soft for Panache.
Cons: The lace top of the cup causes weird shape issues. It usually fits just fine, but I've gotten both hollow tops AND quadboob when it doesn't play nice.
This bra may have been a pinch too big. The straps are too wide for me, but otherwise it felt fairly comfortable. It has the standard high armpit of Panache bras and the gore was a hair longer than I'd prefer.
This bra was too big in the cups for me. It also is very wide. The straps cut into my armpits horribly. The band is firm but comfortable. This bra would be good for someone with wide roots and may be more broad in the shoulder or have breast that start lower on their chest. It just wasn't a good fit for me.
I already reviewed this one in a larger cup size: 34J - Panache » Thea Balconnet Bra (9261) . I kept the 34J. One issue I have had with it (the 34J) is the band curling under and stabbing me under the wire. Tonight I tacked the band up to the outside of the wire channel in a few places to prevent this, and so far it seems to be working, although it will need a longer trial. The other issue is, surprise, the wires are too long and make the armholes pinchy/pokey. But for that I would love it, as it gives a great shape and support.
This bra is so pretty! The band fits nicely. But, unfortunately the cups are way too big for me. There is a lot of wrinkling at the tops and a little extra material at the bottom. The wires are longer than is comfortable, so they poke under my arms. Finally, the straps sit too wide for me. I do really like the overall shape and look of the bar, however, so I think I will try it in a smaller size. Based off other Panache bras I have recently acquired, I think a 34GG might be the perfect size.
Preface, I am short rooted, even, pendulous, center full and narrowish.
This bra was a close one for me, but it ended up being a too tight band with a too large cup for me. It was one of the few bras that tacked on me and layed flat on where the cup meets the strap, but both of those went away when I added an extender as the band is TTS.
This is a very nice bra. I got great lift out of it when I first tried it on, and only lost a little as my breasts settled into the cups. Extender was probably part of ...that as well. Stretch lace on the upper part of the cups will help with a range of shapes. It is a bit shallow for me on the bottom and the center, and was pulling me a bit east west, but most bras do that to me as well. I am very center full. I found the bra painful after a while, but that's because the cup was too wide and the wire was cutting in on the outer bottom part of my root on my larger breast. That's the only reason I'm not keeping this one.
Strap is only partially adjustable and might be a problem for people who need a longer strap. I love the lace overlay on the gore. It is a four panel cup, and I was happy with it when I got it. Just too tight for me.
6 months later: I've gone up a cup size and the cup fits me much better. Still using an extender on the black color way of this bra. Been wearing it as a daily wear in tandem with a nude 34HH Envy (which I do not need an extender on). Gore does not tack on me, but I have come to the realization that it will be a difficult fit to find on my shape. I am center heavy with mayhap half a wires width between them halfway on up. This is my best bra I own. I did not get as good a fit out of the 36H as I think I need the cups to just be a touch shallower which I am getting with the smaller band size. Read more 275 more words
I wanted to love this bra, because it is beautiful and quite supportive for my heavy, pregnant boobs-but the underwires are just so wide on me. It's so uncomfortable. I am having a hard time finding anything that fits my pregnant size, that doesn't have super wide wires.
Panache has made my best-fitting, most attractive bras, including this one that I just bought on clearance at Nordstrom. First I tried it in 36H because I couldn't find any in 34HH, my usual Panache size. The cups and center gore fit better than any bra I've worn in years, but I had to fasten it on the middle hooks. I was prepared to buy it anyway because I loved it, but the sales associate searched their inventory and found a 34HH that had been misplaced. In 34HH it fits snugly but comfortably on the loosest hook, with great lift and shaping and a bit of cleavage.
My Ariza is a Lisa Frank dreamscape of purple, pink, and turquoise. I haven't had many bras this pretty since the early '90s, when I could still wear a D cup. So far, Panache and elomi are the only brands I've found that offer me this combination of form and function. Ariza is both girly and sexy, and I don't feel it's unsuitable for wearing under my t-shirts.
My biggest issue with this bra is that the seam on the bottom of the cup split after one wear. It is still wearable, but I don't usually have that kind of issue with nice quality bras like Panache! I tried this in a 32hh, my usual panache size, and it was a bit snug for my liking with some quadra-boob.. The 34hh seemed to fit nicely in the dressing room. After wearing for a day, I noticed the center gore was turning in. It would not continually lay flat - only one wire at a time was flat. I have this problem often, as my cups are ...very close together, so there isn't much room for the gore. I'm also full on top, so it is difficult to wear many plunge styles. This was unusually noticeable in this bra, and it became uncomfortable. It's a shame - the bra is absolutely beautiful. I saw it online before seeing it in person, and no pictures really do the colors justice. The turqoise and orange are much bolder than I expected. Read more 74 more words
This is my first bra that “fits” and I anxious to see if I can tolerate the 34 band vs my 38 pre bratabase size. Band may be too tight. I am 165lb, 5’6”, and have an extremely soft body. I wish it brought my breasts inside of my silhouette more. Thats my only complaint. Love that it has 3 hook rows instead of 2.
Didn't quite fit so I returned it but the color Chai was absolutely stunning. The Chai (nude) color was neutral with a hint of shimmer- so pretty. It gave a rounded shape similar to Panache Jasmine but sat lower on my chest I'm assuming it has less projection than Jasmine.
Some notes: -My breasts sagged lower and wider shape than Jasmine -Major quadding after bending, shimmy, scoop, swoop, and smooth. - Gore too firm and high, stabs HARD when bending -Wires come up too high and stab underarm -Wires too narrow-cutting off breast tissue under my arms including smaller breast that usually isn't a problem -Straps too wideset, but doable -Cups too wideset, I don't really like the way it looks or feels -Wire 1" below IMF -Breasts kept slipping inward -Straps couldn't tighten enough
The bra fits best out of everything I have tried yet. The cups are very full coverage with a lot of room. I am having light wrinkling along the edges of the lace on the upper edge of the cup. However, it doesn't affect the function and fit. I found if I tucked the edge of the lace into the gore, the bra fits great, now I just need to find a good seamstress. The band fits snug on the middle hooks and will likely be too big in another 10 pounds.
Did you try this down one cup size? It sort of looks like its wrinkling because you are tightening the straps more to make up for a slightly-too-big cup
I haven't tried it a cup down yet, but I will. Thanks for the suggestion! This one is a possibility because the cup fits great everywhere except along the top edge of the lace once I swoop & scoop. I need to update the pics because I don't think my tissue was fully in the cup when these photos were taken. Thanks so much for the feedback!! I am trying to learn what I need to look for in the fit and assessing a bra once it is on.
Try two cup sizes smaller, 34GG. I think the cup volume is too big with the excess fabric in the armpit and top of cup. I think it’ll actually work for you, even the fire will be shorter.
