I love the fit of this bra. I recently got sized in a boutique and had to buy new bras. This one is my go-to bra on most days because I can wear it all day without the band getting too tight or the side boning digging into me, which is a problem with a couple of my Parfait bras. The tea rose color is really pretty and compliments my skin tone. I love the look of the bra without clothes.
It did take me a minute to get used to the way it looks under clothes because there is a distinct difference in shape from my other ...bras. It doesn't really bother me anymore, but it took a couple weeks for it to grow on me. They give a very "natural" shape, so if you are used to molded bras or plunge bras or bras that push your breasts together in a rounded shape, you might not like this at first.
My only complaint is that the seam shows through fitted shirts. Otherwise, I love the bra because it is super comfortable.
Note: For best fit, I recommend bending and scooping your tissue into the cups. If I put on the bra without scooping, it looks like there is too much fabric on top, but when I scoop, the bra fits perfectly.
*The only reason this one is "not a fit" is because the center gore is high and it pokes me after wearing it all day.
Update: I've grown a cup size and now the center gore is fine, but there's not enough support for the added weight of my boobs. I realize, too that I probably wasn't pulling the back of the bra low enough for best support when I was still a 38G. Read more 185 more words
PROs - * It actually fits! * My breasts are supported by the band and wires rather than being held up by the straps. * It literally looks like my two friends are chillaxin on a balcony. * It's not only functional. It's quite sexy. * The price was quite reasonable for such a well made foundation garment. ($49.60 via Amazon Prime)
CONs - * The lace on the bottom front is scratchy. * The wires and wing height go too high under the armpit. I have scar tissue from an excisional biopsy, so I'm hypersensitive ...about this. * The gore height is too high. Although comfortable when sitting or standing, it pokes really bad if I lean over to tie my shoes and such.
Overall, I was very satisfied with the look at fit of this bra when it first arrived. But I held off on wearing it until my other selections were delivered. I have decided to return this bra (even though is IS very sexy!) as I have found a much better fit and feel with the Sculptresse Flirtini in a 38G. Read more 94 more words
I have a bra that is the same cut as this one. Panache (P1921). It's the dark pink (that almost looks maroon) with the light pink flowers. The color and fabric is beautiful. The design of the bra is very cute. The problem is that the bra looks great until you put it on. The center gore doesn't stay up against the body, it pops right out, so there is no center support. The band does hold up my boobs, but it doesn't quite look right. I still wear it because my guy loves the design and I like to be able to take a break from my ...wire bras every once in a while, but the band is pretty tight, so I can't sleep comfortably in it. I bought it as a lounging and sleeping bra rather than a maternity bra. I didn't see anything on the P1921 that would allow you to pull down the front of the bra for nursing, so I think it's just a no wire in the same shape as the Alisha rather than a true maternity bra.
I can't find the P1921 in bratabase, so I'm putting it under the Alisha since they are the same cut. Read more 97 more words
This is my worst-fitting Panache bra (Panache and Elomi bras fit me the best so far). None of my other bras in this brand have wrinkling or gaping in the cup. I love Panache, but this bra just doesn't work. I've only kept it because I haven't been able to get more T-shirt bras in my new size. The cups have a wide gore separation and a long wire length, so it fits weird. My other Panache bras have a shorter separation between the cups (where the top of the gore is). Most of my bras are about an inch apart at the top of the gore, this bra spaces the cups 1 1/4 inches apart at the top. Combined with the 14 inch wire length and the odd placement of the straps, there is a gap of fabric under the boobs and up at the top. I like the width of the straps, but they pull and gape a little because I'm not filling the cup correctly.
I know this bra is a cup or two too small for me, but wow is the fit off and uncomfortable. Center gore is nowhere near my sternum. The cups kind of mash my boobs into one big shelf. The band seems ok, maybe a little loose. I fastened it on the second to tightest setting. The straps dig in a lot. Maybe I have them fastened too short in hopes of fixing the cup issues, but I can't imagine them being comfortable. They seem pretty thin and flimsy. The center comes up so high that it is kind of difficult to fold down one cup to extract ...a boob for feeding while keeping the other all tucked away snug.
For a cotton, non-underwire bra, it is incredibly uncomfortable. I would not even try to get it in the right size since I can't imagine it being that good. I also bought the non-nursing Alisha comfort/maternity bra, but sold it right away. I don't know how the fit can be so bad when the Tango Spirit Plunge in the same size wasn't so bad. I'll stick to my HotMilk nursing bras instead. Read more 83 more words
This bra fits like a dream. The underwire doesn't dig into my underarms or the inside of my biceps. The gore sits flat and the top of the cup is lined in super thin soft lace that sits flush with my skin--no bulging lines or spillage!
I hand wash and hang dry all of my bras now and the band on this bra is holding up very well. It hasn't completely stretched out but I can fit two fingers under it when latched at a comfortable hook.
The only nit-pick I can make with it is that the lace on the outside of the cup creates texture that you can see under thin garments and t-shirts. I don't mind that much but I don't wear it with light colored tops for this reason.
The 38G - Panache ยป Alissa Full Cup (9725) is pretty but I personally find the lace uncomfortable. The band also seems to run small. I do not find this bra comfortable.
The heather colored Andorra is lovely in appearance, lilac with silvery swirls. The lace is gorgeous and seems surprising supportive with more give in the top of the cup to stretch for upper fullness. Unfortunately, the gore rubbed uncomfortably.
I really like the look of this bra. Right now I am measuring in a 36 band, but this 38 isn't too bad. The gore sits at a comfortable level compared to the Andorra, which was too high for me. The gore shows when wearing a low T-shirt, and seams can be seen under some t-shirts. I have some extra space at the bottom of the cup, even being FOB. When I pull it up into my infammory fold, the underwire digs into my armpit. The sides are a little to high for me, and rub in my arm pits. The bra does give me a little boost, without being in your face. Its not a perfect fit, but for right now it is OK.
Fell in love with this bra immediately. The side a panel is great for pushing my breasts more forward since I tend to sit wide and the stretch lace at the top is incredibly forgiving! Once I have a big more migration that stretch lace is going to be my best friend since right now it lays nice and flat across my breast but as a shape change may occur it'll conform to my breast. The only problems I notice is the gore is incredibly high for me and digs into my sternum. Pretty sure once I wear it again and do a wash everything will be broken ...in a bit more and I'll be able to give the gore a slight bend fixing that problem (hopefully!). Overall this bra is so comfortable, it keeps everything in place. My other qualm is that it gives my breasts a slightly pointed shape but once I put a shirt on it's not really that noticeable. It's not a severe torpedo boob situation just slight, I can certainly over look it!
Edit: I've begun to notice that this band is much too large for me and the cups are too wide as well. After bending the gore out, it's been quite comfortable. A 36G/GG is in my future. After some washes and a lot of wearing the straps are still a bit bothersome as the day goes on since they're too wide set for me. Read more 134 more words
This is advertised as a balconnet, but says full cup bra on the tag. This was the nude color. This almost fit. Wasn't as stretchy as the black version I tried in 38GG, and fit correctly. The gore was still a little bit too tall, and didn't tack. I also had a little bit of wrinklage at the top of the cup where the stretch lace didn't lay flat, but it could've been overlooked. The gore tacked less than the GG, about an inch away from my sternum. If the gore had been just a little shorter, I probably would've kept it. It's close but still not quite right. Beautiful bra, but not for me.
The stretch lace on the top allowed for my center projection to not push the gore out, along with the lower gore made this really comfy on me. Fits well on my smaller boob, with a bit of quadding on my larger one. I think a larger size might do better for me.
Too loose at the lace top of the bra with gaping. The rest of the cup is nicely filled without wrinkling on the bottom. Might be better for a person with more even round breasts, but I am FOB. The 38 FF was too small for me with quad boobing. Underarm wires were good height, but too wide for me. I returned it.
This bra dug into my sternum, and the wires dug at the armpits, too. Initially was OK, but not great. The wires were too wide and high. I got a little bit of lace gaping near the gore, and slight looseness in the nipple area for me. No base wrinkling, but the fabric wrapping the bottom of the wire twisted a bit when I left it on for 30 minutes. I returned this one.
If you like the Andorra Plunge by Panache but don't like that it doesn't come in a beige/tan/skin-ish tone... this is the bra for you! Same stretchy type lace in the cup but with a little more structure. Side sling support and lightly lined bottom half of the cup. The comfort padded straps are also in this model which I love, and overall this bra is very comfortable.
This bra was too large for my mom, which I'm not too surprised since the woman I bought it from said it runs large in the cups...it most definitely does! I'd say by 2 cups sizes, and the band is very stretchy. The materials are very soft and comfy though, and it's a good neutral color. The shape also did not work for my mom, who has high set breast. The cups were too deep and the underwires sat too low for her high-set breasts.
Stretchy lace cups, padded straps, band runs small but is still true to size just tighter than stretchier banded brands. Overall a very comfortable and supportive bra
