The wires are all up in my armpits. Sheesh. I know my roots are high on my chest, but damn. The wires are too tall AND too wide. Definitely not enough immediate projection for me either. My tissue is doing the little fold over thing at the outside of the cup. The construction is pretty rigid, though, so I will give it that. The fabric is certainly not the softest I've felt, sensory issues beware, but it makes sense with the amount of structure it has. The lace trim on the band also doesn't go all the way around. It awkwardly stops midway under the cups.
The top of the cup is way too loose, wrinkling. Less wrinkling than the Panache Jasmine Balconet 40JJ, which I ordered at the same time, but still too much.
The wire on this bra tacks very well in the center, although, as is common in this size range, the wire extends too far around my side, nearly to the back of each arm. Also, as with most bras, the straps are set too far towards the armpits. This bra would be good for someone full on top; I have pretty balanced fullness, and there's a little extra fabric on top both in the center and at the armpit. I think I will take it in a little in both areas. I can't go down a cup size because I need the fullness in the lower cup and ...the overall cup depth provided by this size.
There is some nice shaping in the triangular piece in the lower cup at the center, which helps make room for the fullness in the lower breast and keep it curvy instead of flattening me out there like many bras do. The overall shape is rounded with a subtle peak, which I like, and it doesn't push my boobs easty-westy like most bras do in my size. The mint color is pretty and the fabric is light and comfortable, with a slight texture that may be visible under thin tops. It doesn't have any padding but the seams converge at the nipple providing a little nipple coverage. The straps are minimally stretchy with a fairly soft texture, and a lot of range of adjustment.
Compared to most bras I've tried it seems to be comfy and should be great once I do a little adjusting at the top edges of the cup. Read more 160 more words
Has J-hooks. That's pretty cool for the narrow shoulder havers. High roots and narrow shoulders, get a buddy to help you adjust the straps because otherwise, it's gonna be a lot of taking it off and putting it back on. I can't praise this material enough. I'm trying SO HARD to find the right size in this bra. You'll see when I finish uploading all the data from all the sizes I ordered. Oh boy. It's so soft. The stretch fabric on the top of the cups is so cute. The double bagged band is insanely comfortable. But the wires are so damn high (on the edge and at the gore) & too wide for me. I have short/high roots. This is a shape mismatch. The cups also aren't deep enough for the amount of projection I have, but I want it to work so badly. I just wish the frame worked for me. Edit: Turns out none of the sizes in this model work for me. Bummer.
For someone built similar, I would not recommend this style of bra. The wires are too wide. The cups are not projected enough making my breast tissue spread backwards and shoving the wires into my arms. The bottom of the cup is not full enough and my breasts tend to push the wires down so that they do not sit in the inframammary fold and therefore also causes breast tissue to spill out of the top. The gore does not tack and sits on breast tissue. The band does seem to fit me well.
