Sadly the bra does not really fit me. It's not a horrible fit. My usual size these days is 32JJ/K and since the Charlotte is known to run about 2 cup sizes small, I decided to size up to 34K.
Size – wise it is not such a bad fit! The band is very wide and supportive. (4 hook closure!! Why doesn't every bra in the J+ cup range have 4 hook closure???) The band is a bit big, but it does not ride up. I also love those wide shoulder straps! The whole bra construction is very sturdy and supportive. If only they would improve the fit issues... ...
Like I said, the cups run small. The main problem in my opinion is though, that the cups are very shallow. Especially towards the centre. This is a big issue, since my boobs are very centre heavy. So the gore does not tack since there is just not enough room for my boobs near the gore. (Also I find the gore to be quite wide)
On the other side, the cups are also too big. Too big, when they are too small? They are too tall! I really need tall cups. (I need the original cup height in Comexim bras and I can wear most Panache bras, even the older styles with the taller wires) But the cups of the Charlotte are just over the top. I get huge gaping towards the straps. I tried shortening the straps very much to get rid of this. But this doesn't make it much better... I get rid of the gaping but feel “constricted” by the cup height on the side and the tight straps... I really don't know what shape I'd need to have to fit into this bra. Maybe more shallow boobs but even taller and fuller on top?
It's so sad since the bra is just sooooooo pretty! And I love the construction (wide band, straps, 4 hook closure)! It's comfy (the padding of the cups feels so soft, it feels like boobs on clouds) apart from the problems that the tall cups cause.
This bra needs (in H+ cup sizes): deeper cups, less tall cups, narrower gore. Also it should run more true to size. I'm sad that this bra does not work for me :/
