I took a chance and ordered this bra on eBay based on the Bratabase recommendation and the fact that I had tried on this bra last year when I was a different size. Last time, I'd bought it and then realized the sizing was incorrect so I had to return it.
The 38HH almost fits. The issue is that the cups are very wide and I have close-set breasts. The way the bra is designed, the gore doesn't tack. Because the gore doesn't tack and my breasts push the middle out, there's a tiny bit of gap at the sides where the strap meets the front of the bra. ... I think I'm somewhere between 38H and 38HH right now, so the cup is probably slightly big, but the way my boobs keep growing, I'll probably grow into the cup in the next 2-3 months. That won't fix the shape issue.
I probably need to look for a bra with narrower, deeper cups. I tend to wear Panache and Elomi. Panache gives me the perfect tack at the center gore, though sometimes they tack a little too well!
As for look and comfort, the Parfait Charlotte is very va-va-voom. It's a sexy bra. I wish it was a little more center-projected. I feel like there is too much boob at the sides.
I will give the bra an A+ for support. The band feels very secure without being too tight and it is alleviating the back strain I've been having from my bras lately. The foam cups are very comfortable. I'd definitely recommend the bra to someone with a different shape. If you do better with wide, shallow bras, this is a good one to try (I also like Freya for that as well).
