Not much information out there about this bra, and I love its' details, so I just had to try it.
What I love:
The lacing up the middle of the gore: sheer mesh under satin lacing. Very reminiscent of a Victorian corset.
The color: "Nightshadow Blue" is a very pretty dark denim blue in the spectrum of muted blues (rather than red or yellow tones). Very vintage looking.
The cups: lined but no push-up padding; good projection; nice profile (neither "in your face" boobs, or minimized out to the sides); proportionate spacing between the apexes, relative to the width of the wires; darted flat lace overlaying ... the 3-part inner cups, with low-sheen satin on the outer cups giving defined side support. The lace barely shows under a thin tee; seams don't show because they are under the lace.
Wide band: great side support, feels very secure; tapers to two hooks in the back. Controlled back fat well. It gives the appearance of being too tall under the arms, but it was not uncomfortable at all.
What I don't love:
First impression: this is a lot of bra! Yes, it's definitely a Full Cup design and I'm used to wearing more Demi's; (When taking it out of the package I thought for sure it would be too big, but the fit is actually very close).
Cup height: Very tall! Almost 1.5" above my shortish roots; (not proportionate with my short torso at all).
Wide gore: granted, space is needed for the beautiful lacing detail, but it's both much too wide & tall to fit within my center fullness. It was not uncomfortable.
Very wide-set straps: practically under my arms.
Bottom Line:
The combination of the wide-set straps and the tall cups caused a lot of gaping with movement, despite that it fit well with normal posture. That is, it didn't gape when standing straight but it did when I started moving around.
