This is my first time ever trying Parfait. Charlotte is very well liked, and I can see why. The padding and exterior material are quite soft, and the floral pattern is beautiful.
I think this 28FF fits the best and will probably be keeping it. It says out of my armpits and does not gape. It does seem to run large as other reviews have said - I would normally wear 30FF/G in Panache at this point. I'm wearing it with an extender while I break it in.
First of all, this bra in the blush/black colorway is GORGEOUS. The contrast is beautiful and the bow detailing is lovely. The construction is very solid, and the wide back band is extremely comfortable. Being between a FF and a G always gives me an odd fit in the cup, especially considering I'm very FOT and thus it can cause a bit of quad boob. This bra is no different, but not enough to warrant a size up in the cups. I've heard people say to size up in the band but this is not the case in my experience. The 28 band is definitely spot on for me. Overall I would absolutely recommend this bra, particularly for the comfort and striking appearance.
tight bra band, but I think it will just take some time to break in. beautiful bra but unfortunately the cups just too big for me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Technically I don't own this yet, but I have tried it on, so this is my fit setting for when I tried it on. Although the measurements are right, for some reason I can't fill the very bottom of the cups, and the cups appear pushed down and sitting too low on my chest. Maybe there isn't enough immediate projection?
I, of course, had to exchange the original 28F for this one, which fit perfectly upon initial acquisition -- 8 months ago. Since then, the band has stretched out considerably to the point that I cannot wear it without incredible pain on my shoulders, and I'm now getting slight quadding with my left (bigger) boob, not sure if it's because I've grown or just am doing a more drastic swoop & scoop now (that I have a real bra with room for it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> ). I recommend sewing a little elastic or thread along the band where you can to keep it ...from stretching out with wear.
As for the original fit, the band is wide and lovely, as are the straps, which is fantastic for anyone with neck/shoulder issues such as myself. I didn't like the very slight point of the cups at first, but am accepting this shape now and it isn't so bothersome. The cups fit perfectly; the slide sling is wonderful for containing all the 'side stuff'.
The only things I'll point out with the look are a) slightly pointy and b) I wish there was a way to get a fully nude of his exact model. To fix these, though, would to totally ruin the look of the bra and its retro-ness, so I can't complain. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I would recommend this bra to a friend. After 8 mo., my red stretched out, ordered this one in peach. I figured it should be fine since it's the exact same model and size, but the straps are noticeably wider (which is fine, just an indication that it's been changed). Upon trying it on, I see i have significant quadding in my bigger boob (much more than I ever had with red) and am getting quite the sternum attack with the center gore, which I know can be inevitable for shorter girls (I'm 5'0"), but I never had this problem with the red either. Wondering if peach's cups are just inherently smaller than the other originals, and trying to decide if it'll be too much wire in my armpit and chest or too much of a cup difference if I size up to a G.
My first bra that sort of fit. I think I'm a little fuller now and am experiencing a bit of quadboob... I like the lift and shape this bra gives me. The width of the strap is wider than I'd like but this bra does provide great support. It's so comfy and after a year is still my favorite bra.
Not a perfect fit for me, but I love it enough to keep it. It really looks beautiful and makes me feel pretty. I wish the cups didn't come up as high on the sides - it's a little pokey on the sides because I'm pretty petite. This won't be an all day every day bra but I still love it.
Awesome! It’s such a pretty bra! So if I am normally 30F/FF, you’d suggest maybe 30E?
