I bought this well priced bralette from Belle Lingerie.
It is very soft - It's 87% polymide, and 13% spandex. It has two thin layers - one outer lace, and one inner stretchy polyester feeling material (almost like a stretch cotton). It was incredibly difficult to measure because it is a bralette, which doesn't have any wires. I did my best, but take measurements with a grain of salt.
The bralette is incredibly soft and comfortable. I put it on and went out for an evening, and I forgot all about it. The band measures a bit smaller than the actual size, and I bought a bigger size ...on purpose so that I could wear it for lounging around on days off. It has just enough structure and shape to be appropriate for day time/outside use though. It does squish me a bit, and there is not much lift. I would call it supportive though. I love that it has 4 clasps, because I can't do the pull over kind very well anymore - it's just too much contortion for me these days, lol.
I think it looks really pretty, and because it's part structured, part sexy bralette, and also so soft and cozy...I'd wear it almost for any occasion. Read more 101 more words
I have this one too, and just remembered about it! I think this is the only busty bralette style I own with a hook closure. Agreed with you on pullover styles… they’re fine if I am wearing something loose fitting where support doesn’t matter, but if I need the band to actually provide support, pullover is a huge struggle!
Ohh I like the look of this one. It looks pretty darned supportive for a bralette!
belleandblues and margesimpson it is SO comfortable. And yes, actually quite supportive for a bralette.
That’s great Wilderness1 it’s definitely going on my wish list, lol
Order a band size up in the Sandrine Longline. It's gorgeous, but unwearable with my regular band size. Just one band size up would've made all the different. I can't close the band, and all of my regular Parfait 34s are perfectly fine. This is also true for their Elissa Longline.
Yes I found the bands to be super tight, too! I had to go up two sizes, because the 30s were strangely 4 inches smaller than the 32s... I'm usually a 28F or 28FF, and the 32DD measured and fits like a 28F!
**EDIT** I tried the bra on backwards and the band fits perfectly. In fact, I did this with all the old bras I thought were too tight in the band and they magically fit! It’s definitely not the band, it’s the cups. I would try a 34FF in this bra considering how tight the cups were.
I’ve been wearing the wrong size for so long I barely know where to begin. I found this at an outlet store for a great price, so I snagged it. I thought the band would stretch out with wear, but it’s so uncomfortable that I don’t think I can wear it for ...long enough to try. The underwire is very flexible, so the cups widen on me quite a bit due to the band stretching. Due to the widened cups, I have slight gaping under the arm and it flattens the center projection which I really need. I think I would go up in both the band and cup and try a 36E. It sits where I need it to on my torso and provides the separation I want for everyday wear. Read more 80 more words
This is one of my favorite bras....super soft and comfortable, supportive enough for day to day tasks and amazingly comfortable. The lace details are beautiful and the cups offer plenty of support.
This bra is gives good shape, has decent projection, is cut well, has a 3 part sewn foam cup, the band is a little stretchy, and it comes in great colors.

This bra is huge for 34E. In first I thought that I'd ordered 34F instead of 34E. But nope. The color is lovely, the bra is well made and it's super sad that it didn't fit me.
I size up from my usual 32 as the band for this brand run tight. Visually, it's beautiful. Comfortable as well. But, sadly, due to my inner fullness, I was experiencing major spillage after a couple of hours of wear.
This bra is so pretty - the retro look of it is amazing! The construction and everything is beautiful. However, the gore is extremely uncomfortable. I thought it might be because of how high it is, but I have Comexim bras with a similar gore height and they fit perfectly. The Charlotte's gore has more separation than my Comexims. And the Charlotte's gore angles inward toward my body - so the top the gore seems to dig in. It's unfortunate because this is such a beautiful bra. I've only worn this bra for 5 hours and it felt unbearable. I don't want to, but I think I need to sell or exchange this bra. It's stunning, but I know I'm never going to wear it.
I was hoping that this could be a simple, t-shirt bra - something basic and comfy that I could wear to work… that isn't quite as "intense" as my Decos lol. It is definitely a well made and really beautiful bra - the navy blue is gorgeous! - but it just does not fit me. The cups have a very "East-West" direction and the wire comes up much too high for me under my arm pits. I also get a lot of quad boob due to the very wide set style of the cups. The straps are also a bit too wide for me - though that happens with most of my bras since I have very narrow shoulders. Unfortunately I will keep searching for the perfect t-shirt bra!
*Review from blue model included at bottom. The band is too large, as on the blue version. I've worn the beige a few more times and now I can wear it on the loosest hook. Cups are too large and causing quite a bit of quad boob.
This bra did originally have a side support sling which I removed. The sling was really warping the shape of my soft breasts. The shape is somewhat better without it but still not ideal.
* Blue Review:The band is rather loose/stretchy. It felt stiff when I first tried to on, but after a few hours of wear I was able to comfortably ...move to the second hook (shown in the photo.) The cups are too small for me, based on the quad boob and the fact that I can't quite fill the entire bottom of the cup. I tried to wear it a few times and convince myself it was close enough, but it's just not working. Even with the bad fit this bra is very comfortable and the bra itself is pretty. Just not on my body.
I think this bra is just not right for my breasts, size issues aside. Even though the cups are small it actually feels like the cups are too baggy because of the lack of support and sagging that I'm getting. I'm also not fond of the shape this bra gives me. It's almost like the sides of the cup are a little too supportive* for my soft breasts and the shape is being warped. This bra would probably work better for someone with firmer breasts, and maybe someone fuller on top than I am.
I also have the beige model of this bra and it had side support slings in the cup. There are no slings in the blue model. I don't know if it was a design change or if the were removed by someone skilled enough to not leave evidence of removal. (Purchased from eBay, but it did come with tags and Parfait packaging, which I have since removed.) Read more 237 more words
