This bra fits me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> This is a moulded lightly padded plunge style bra. There are no seams, that line on the front is just the fabric gathered. There’s is boning on the sides, the band is firm and supportive but comfortable. The cups are soft, and the straps seem sturdy and surprisingly short enough and spaced just right for me. And *gasp* I have no wrinkles or gaps! (Which I get 99% of the time). Okay there’s a tiny bit of strap gap but it’s hardly noticeable. The gore cut out is a bit weird would be better if solid but ... not a deal breaker.

Gives me a great shape, no straps falling off, everything fits really well. It’s pretty too.

Too bad I can’t find another one of this bra anywhere in my size! Brastop has it but my size is sold out. Sigh.

My only other experience with Parfait is the Charlotte plunge in 34FF which was laughably too large and tall in the cups. I’m going to try one of the other newer parfait bras and see if it works too.

*edit- as I thought, the weird cut out gore is causing me discomfort specifically that elastic piece at the bottom is causing some pain. I knew it! My guess is any cut out gore is going to give me issues :/

For what it's worth, I believe Charlotte is more of an 'outlier' for Parfait. Very tall and bulky indeed.

So perhaps styles like the New York (from the same 'line' as the London) may work for you as well?

    • 2

Oh and yay that this one works so well for you!

      (:

    • 1

Thanks for the suggestion! Maybe I can find the New York style for a decent price and try it out. Also good to know the Charlotte is considered tall. Im glad this one is short enough for me. Total fluke purchase that worked out yay ( most of the random bras I’ve tried did not work out at all lol)

All the Parfait bras are not discontinued lol. Parfait is just really good putting out a LOT A bras and then discontinuing the majority of them. Charlotte, tess and the crop top style one I think are the only ones that have stuck around for the long haul. If you go to their main website you can see their current offerings. But I have found that just googling the name and model of whatever bra I am looking for often brings up many of the lesser well known places to shop for bras. There are actually quite a few places that sell old and dead stock. Just gotta put in the effort to research for them. Good luck! I'm so glad it works for you. And I know how you feel! My favorite brand is Claudette and they've been defunct for A LONG time. But I can still find a few of their models here and there. My second favorite bra company (mini holliday) is now defunct as well (they made the BEST bras!!!).

    • Good to know That about parfait, but they sure do discontinue their bras quickly! I do look at a couple of online stores for old stock so maybe they’ll have something similar. Sorry to hear you’ve had the same struggle! Here’s to good luck for both of us finding discontinued bras that fit

  2. Marion Unlined Wire Bra (5392)

ORIGINAL REVIEW AND PICTURES (March 2019):
The Parfait Marion has the pleasure of being the first bra that I purchased after the r/abrathatfits calculator showed me I'm really a 32FF/34F, not the 34DD I thought I was.

I ordered this in a few sizes to help me narrow down my size. I ended up keeping the 34F because the band was more comfortable, but the 32FF fit similarly. I've been very happy with this bra. It looks cute and feels very supportive. The straps are only partially adjustable because the top portion is padded (very comfortable), but that isn't a problem for me. Some people may find the gore ... too high, but it works for me as long as I'm not wearing a low cut shirt. I have had some problems with seams showing through shirts, but only thin ones. The lace is very pretty and I find it comfortable (though it was itchy before I washed it a couple of times). I like the overall shape that it gives me.

I haven't had it long, so I'm not sure how it will wear over time, but I'm quite happy with it so far.

    UPDATE (November 2021):
I am currently 24 weeks pregnant and my bra size has changed. I now measure at 34G or 34GG according to the r/abrathatfits caclulator. Therefore, it is not surprising that this bra no longer fits well. The band feels tight even though it is technically the right band size. This is likely due to the cups being too small for my breast tissue. This bra actually does allow for more projection than many I have tried over the years so my tissue fills the bottom ok. The underwire is close to my IMF, maybe a little lower than ideal. However, gore floats a good 1.5" off my sternum. I also get some quadding on both breasts at the top of the bra. Overall, the bra feels like what it is - a few cup sizes too small for my current size.

I can also say this bra was not one that I would reach for on a regular basis when it did fit. The seams often showed through my clothing and it was never quite as comfortable as some of my other bras.

Well this one was cute, and looked pretty good on me and felt okay, except for the very wide straps and the gaping in the cups. Since it's padded it doesn't wrinkle, but I was getting about a half-inch gap between my breast and the bra cup when I brought my arms together or up or leaned over or pretty much generally moved around. Also since the gaping was prominent the cup line showed under shirts so it just didn't work for me.

I've been buying this bra for years and, unfortunately, I've noticed a decrease in the quality of Parfait's bras.

My initial Casey bra had thicker straps, a three-hook back closure, and was made from very high-quality materials. My current one has straps that are too thin to adequately support my bust, two-hook closures, and is made from an itchy shiny fabric. My old ones I could wear for 12+ hours, my new ones I'm itching to take off as soon as I get home.

I still wear this style fairly often, but unfortunately the new Caseys aren't what I'm looking for and I don't plan on buying them again.

I ordered this bra pre-owned to test my ABTF size recommendation. Non padded and lightly lined cups. I believe it's categorized as demi and I think it is discontinued. The band fit, the gore tacked, straps were fine, underwire was wide enough- but I completely spilled over the top and sides. I'm still learning so I'm not sure what about my breasts and this bra clashed haha. I passed it along to my mom who got similar size recommendations. She has significantly less breast tissue than me and it fit her wonderfully!

    Didn't fit

This is my third go-around with Parfait longlines after having reliably worn the same size in Parfait bras and abruptly discovering the longlines run differently. I wear a 28 or 30 band, depending on the brand, and this 34F - Parfait By Affinitas » Adriana Lace Bralette (5482) barely stretches to 30 inches without distorting. The band is finally a comfortable fit, and the cups technically fit, but they have unusual lines. The seams down the front have a tendency to pucker at the apex, making it look a little like I’m going braless under my shirt. The cups also sort of face away from one ... another, and even though I am already wide-set I still find it’s kind of pushing me apart and giving me an artificially pointy east-west shape. This bra is super cute, and I’m jazzed that I finally found an Adriana that fits, but I think I’m still going to have to return it. I think it’s made for a different shape than I am, though I’m having trouble discerning who it would work best for.

For context, my measurements put me between a 32 and a 34 band. The latter is sometimes too loose, but the former is sometimes too tight. This puts me between a rock and a hard place when trying to evaluate bras.

When I tried the Parfait Jeanie in a 32FF, the band was a bit too firm and there wasn't enough projection at the wire for me. The 34 band feels better and the 34F (sister size to the 32FF) has more projection at the wire which works better for my breast tissue. However, there is still some discomfort in this bra. The primary issue is that the cups ... come up too high into my armpit and the straps are set too wide for me. This combination digs into my Tail of Spence and is quite uncomfortable. Additionally, the cups are a bit too wide for me. Finally, while I mostly fill out the cups while standing straight and still, they don't move with me very well (as often happens with molded bras). This creates a visible line under my clothes that is somewhat distracting.

Overall, this wasn't worth keeping for me.

This gives me awesome cleavage. Like other molded bras I get gapping since my squish won't conform at the top. But it's not noticeable under clothes. It is noticeable in an open top - not the outline but the actual cup/strap dead space. Slight quadding on bigger boob only with jumping jacks. And it's on the inner edge, not the top so again not noticeable through clothes. Might be a keeper. Finding I like parfait for the night wings too.
Tried 34FF also. Goes from 2 hooks to 3 and straps are wider...cups not quite same shape...band is tighter! feels like a totally different bra.
Ended up going to a 32ff as the band just a little loose. Just not getting the boob capture on the inside. Big boob is escaping and folding over. Will write that one up but this shape just isn't going to work 😞

This is pretty but does not fit me. The cup is for someone with more inner fullness, I think. I have some gapping at the inner edge. If I put a pad in then my squish just pools in that area. Disappointing because I like everything else about it.

This is a beautiful bra but I realize that a balconette style does not work for me. The straps are so far apart that they cut under my arm on the right side. This is my smaller side and you will see in the photos that it also gapes at the top of the cup. I could also go down a band size since this band stretches and I have it on the tightest hooks. I am not sure I will keep this one. The gore tacks well. I prefer a narrower wire like EWA or Anna Pardal. The material is soft and lovely, as is the color.

    • I did get it here. It has another pair of straps that are plain. I think the lace ones are for "sexy time" only. The lines on the cup may show thru thin tops. I have not actually worn it since I can't decide if I want to keep it.

    • Yes, it was a great deal and it's a beautiful bra. I am thinking of buying some longer straps and crisis crossing them to see if that helps to pull the straps away from my under arm.

This is a pretty, molded bra, the way the fabric is at the top of the cup, I think this will show in a thin top.

This bra comes with two straps, a thin pretty frilly strap that has lace attached and a thicker everyday strap. For measurement purposes, I measured the thicker strap.

This bra is too small on me but I can tell the band runs somewhat smaller, if it will stretch out I am not sure.

I love this bra. Love the way it looks and the way it fits. Looks good under clothes. Gaps at upper outer edge and actually all along top. But really variable depending on swoop/scoop. The 34E is too small in the cup. The band is pretty stretchy and a little big. Maybe I should try a 32E?

I outgrew my old Charlotte, and I am trying to find my new size. This band is good. I have a lot of quadding on my larger breast and a little bit on my smaller one. Going another size up might help, but I'm wondering if my recent weight gain/size increase has made me too projected for Charlotte's shallow cups.

this bra is not too small, it actually fits, it is just wrong shape for me. It gives no uplift and is too closed on the top for me.
    ***update above***
This is the first bra that I have had a problem with the straps being to long. I was not able to adjust it short enough for me. Not the only problem though, it is about 2 sizes too small.

The material of the bra is comfortable and the blue lace gives a nice amount of color to the black bra. The wires are a good width for me, somewhat wide. If i went up to my correct size, it would most likely be too wide. The band is a snug 34.

One good thing out of this experience is that I have realized I have center fullness. Learn something new all the time!

I really loved this bra. It's a really pretty design and seemed to fit the cup pretty well, but I tried wearing it for an hour or so and ended up having the gore dig into my sternum so badly that when I took it off I was afraid it was bruised. So sadly sending it back.

Technically, this is the first bra I owned that fit. I say technically, because although it's the correct size, it's definitely the wrong shape altogether. It's for people with breasts more even than myself, for sure - I basically couldn't fill out the top or the bottom of the bra. However, I kept it anyway because I needed a nude bra - it looked a little strange, but not too bad. Now that I am a 32G, it looks better, but is far more uncomfortable.

This bra has wide set straps and has a gaping problem near the straps. I originally ordered a 34FF and loved everything about it especially the 3 hooks in the back but the gaping was so prevalent I sized down to a 34F. Going down a cup is okay..the band feels less firm as it now has 2 hooks and I really prefer the width of an FF cup over an F. The straps seem slightly less wide (though still kind of wide set for my sloping shoulders) and the cups gape less. It's fine when my arms are down by my side but if I start moving and bending over, I find the cups aren't really into molding with my shape. I have yet to wear it all day and will definitely update this review in the future with my measurements and a follow up regarding the comfort and shape holding.
