This bra is slightly more interesting than the standard beige bra with the addition of lace on bottom/outer third of the cups, but visually, it is still pretty bland. The shape the molded cups give is nice and round, although a bit low. The cups are quite shallow and may run a bit small. The straps are narrow, made from a foam similar to the cups, and are both edged and textured.
The band has two flexible vertical underwires on either side of the cups under the armpits and is also lined twice to that point, which I found helpful in eliminating side-bulge when viewed from the ...front. However, the difference in elasticity between the mesh and the elastic used to make the band means that the elastic appears to cut in to the flesh of the back. This problem is made worse by the fact that the elastic is also quite narrow. In addition, where the band continues under the cups in front, it tends to fold under and dig into my ribcage. Initially, I found the fit quite snug and thought I would have to exchange it; however, the band stretched out very quickly.
Since this was my first foray into full bust bras, I thought to ease myself in to my "true" size, which is presently closer to 34G/32GG. Consequently, I have found that breast tissue has migrated back to where it should be and this bra no longer fits. Read more 141 more words
Stretch lace on top is great. Band runs tight, bra is somewhat shallow. The fabric feels amazingly silky. The side support pushes the breasts forward but not as far as Panache Jasmine (6951). Also, the non-lace proportion of the cup is larger, so I feel better supported.
Despite saying I get quad-boob in this, it actually usually fits. There's a piece of elastic tape or something at the top of the lace which can cut in (and the lace above it does not). If I could get rid of it the bra would fit perfectly.
This bra is so, so close to perfect. I love the soft stretchy fabric and the pretty lace and the lovely rose color. It fits me very, very well — except that the gore will not lay flat no matter how I manipulate everything. I think this might be solved by dropping down to the 34FF, as the back of the bra also felt a tiny bit loose. If I can find this bra in that size, I’ll exchange it and give it a try. Even if I can’t, I’m tempted to keep it, though. It’s just that pretty. This bra gives a nice natural shape under clothing, but be aware that the lace may show through very thin fabrics.
So comfortable. Fantastic under T shirts. Parfaits other smooth cups for T shirts (Casey, Jeanie, etc.) have wider set straps than the Aline. Aline is much more standard width, and much more comfortable.
Fits almost exactly like my Parfait By Affinitas Odette Wire Bra (5302) . A little more room in the cup, so slight wrinkling on the center seam but the cups lay flat and its certainly not enough to go down a cup. The pattern is gorgeous and extends up the straps and top of the back band.
Parfait reviews seemed consistent re: the gore being divisive, so I was happy to get to try this one on in store. The gore does press firmly but it feels fine to me. The colors and pattern are much nicer in person. Band is on the tight side but not too tight for me. And I fill the cups very nicely with just a sliver of room at the top, not enough to wrinkle. I will definitely stick with this size for unlined Parfait.
Waaaaaay too small in the cup. Lots of quad-boob. Band was firm. Seller made it sound like their listed size (36G) was the UK size, which would likely fit me. Since the listed size was that, UK size is really 36F. I'm normally an F in 38 bands and an 38FF in Parfait and was hoping to sister size to UK 36G.
