Although this bra looks a bit like a granny bra, it’s super comfy. Wearing this all day today was the first time that I can remember going ALL DAY not having to think about or adjust my bra! The only thing I would change about it would be to have a lining. I teach young children and it’s pretty obvious when I’m cold. 😳
The rave reviews I read before purchasing this bra are all correct. This is the first time i have cleavage in a well fitting bra.The phrase "sexy scaffolding" is a perfect description for this bra. Cups are shallow and I went one cup size up from my usual 38F. I think that would have fit just fine because I have a bit of gaping around the top edge after a few hours, but I have very shallow, FOB breasts so this is good enough. The bow on the center gore was mis-sewn on mine and a little messy but I got it for $18 on Amazon so I love it anyway.
Was initially comfortable with some wrinkling in the bottom of the cup and felt a little snug in the band but it started to become more uncomfortable throughout the day and I ended up having to take it off. Bra wire makes noise when moving. Will wear again and see if my feelings change.
The design of this long-length cami makes it impossible to measure the "band" according to Bratabase guidelines. I took my own measurements of the width of the cami laying flat. It measures 15" wide at the top, 14½" at the waist, 21½" at the hem, which is curved. The fabric is super stretchy and can accommodate my 37" waist and 49" hips, but it wants to ride up constantly. It would be better on someone who's lower half is a few inches smaller. I think if this were made as a teddy, it would be better. Any fabric that stretchy needs something to anchor it.
Speaking of the fabric, ...it is SO soft, very touchable. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> It's a bit more green than photos show. I'd call it teal, though the color varies with lighting. The back has a mesh panel and a partial corset lacing at the top. It seems to be there more for style than anything else, but you could use it to adjust the band slightly. Personally, I think it just makes the cami even less supportive than the stretch fabric already does.
I bought this in a sister size up because of my pear shape. So between the extra inches, the unsupportive fabric, and the shallow bottoms of the cups, the cups like to slide down. Despite all of that, I had a tough time getting the zipper up under the arm. I don't think I could have got it on without help had I purchased my usual band size. On the plus side, the cups are neither super tall, nor super wide. However, I am too projected for them, particularly in the center. My center fullness causes some quadboob when standing. I wish I could take the foam out of the cup, but I would need to add a supportive lining and that's beyond my skill.
I bought this mostly for "entertaining", so the fit issues are forgivable. The hem riding up will be a pain, as will getting it on, but I'll put up with it for beauty.
TL;DR Purchased in sister size due to pear shape. Cups are comfortable on a short/narrow root. Projected & center full breasts will cause buckled cups and quadboob. Cups shallow on bottom.
Teal fabric is very soft and extremely stretchy. Stretches over large hips & belly, but will ride up. It also makes for limited support and lift. Back has mesh and partial (mostly cosmetic) corset lacing. Side zipper is incredibly difficult to do by yourself. Read more 314 more words
This bra quad boobs pretty bad after swooping and scooping. Gore is half an inch away from my sternum. After a little while my boobs settle and there isn't much quad boob, though they feel like they could fall out very easily if I were to lean over. I think a 38G would've fit better but was unavailable. But for $10 on eBay its fine.
So, the bra is small for my larger side and cuts in across the top. I was concerned the lace would be uncomfortable but it really isn't. It is extremely sheer which my husband loves and I like that the band has three clasps for comfort. Had I gone up to a G cup I think it would not be as supportive.
I'm not sure how much I like this bra. It's definitely cute, but it seems a little too flimsy for larger busts. It definitely has too small a cup size, but I'm not sure how much support I'd get evenin the right size.
The center gore does not sit flat and there is definite quad boob. The mesh cups are fairly stretchy, but the trim at the top of the cups is not stretchy, so I think cutting-in will be a problem for a lot of people. There is some strange wrinkling/stretching in the band fabric between the underwire and the side boning. The band isn't even stretched that tight, I think the fabric is just too stretchy for my liking.
This bra is just not for me. It feels too skimpy. I prefer to feel more strapped in and supported. I think it would be better for someone who doesn't have heavy boobs, so they don't worry about it getting too stretched out.
