  1. Starlight Bandeau Bra (5581)

    Didn't fit

I wanted this bra to work so badly. I knew going into it that it was probably going to be a size too big and I ordered it fully aware of that fact (it was so cheap I couldn't not find out if it would fit). This bra technically fits fine but the pros don't outweigh the cons.

    Pros:
Just as cute in person, cup depth is fine.

    Cons:
Wires are too wide, wings are too high and the cups themselves are too wide meaning they chafe like the dickens, the gore is very stabby and actually broke skin, the wire channels are a half inch too long meaning this bra doesn't need to be as tall/chafing as it is, and the cups are super tall with lots of excess space at the top along with straps that are too wide set and without anyway to prevent slippage.

This bra is not owned any more

      Aww, I'm so sorry!

And WOW, those cups are SUPER tall. :o I can tell with a quick glance at Amazon that it doesn't look like this in smaller cup sizes, and that is obnoxious. :\ Whyyyy do so many companies not seem to know what to do with larger boobs.

rainbrasspetals I know! It doesn't help that I'm extremely petite but even so that doesn't justify what is going on with these cups. It had so much potential too! I love glitter and was all pumped to wear a bra with some.

Helpful review, beautiful bra :-) Tall cups--I'm running.

omg, that thing seriously looks like it is trying to eat your shoulders. I'm so sorry! I feel like you had a thread about this where I already said the same thing, but you are totally right that this is just too big.

  2. Starlight Plunge T-back Bra (5589)

    Didn't fit

    CUP HEIGHT:
Strap to apex to wire: 7.25"
Strap to bottom of wing: Approx. 6.5-7"

Measuring from strap to bottom of wing presents a unique challenge on this bra, because the bra band always holds a round shape due to the T-back, distorting the measurement somewhat.

The underwires are really stiff. The cups seem a little on the generous side as they fit slightly better than a Freya bra I tried in the same size-- this doesn't give me quad-boob like the Freya did. The underwires don't come up too high under the arms for me, but the stiff edges of the cups themselves may cut into tender underarms or breast tissue for some women. The A-shaped back on this is fantastic for narrow shoulders! But it may feel like it's digging into the neck or shoulders. It's very friendly to full-on-bottom breasts.
