This was the size American bra manufactures put me in. I own several of these bras because they are very supportive, and so long as I'm not on my period, my breasts don't hurt by the end of the day.
By "supportive" I mean, they squish me in tight even when I have to bend over, carry heavy boxes and other duties at work. It's basically like a sports bra. There is NO separation between breasts. It's like I'm always in a push-up bra simply because of the ridiculous size. this bra has four hooks and a lightly padded wider shoulder strap because they know perfectly well they are ... squeezing every last woman in America into the 5 cup sizes they manufacture.
If they put the same quality of material into additional cup sizes, I would have been loyal for life. Okay, they need to work on the prettiness of the bras (although this one has silky roses and lacey trimming which, compared to their other bras, makes it one of the most pretty they make!), but for someone who has a very active job, I need my jugs in place, and I really can wear these all day normally.
The number one problem with this particular style bra (other than the size) is...they STINK! After a while, they just smell funny. And it's not B.O. Whatever material they use in this particular bra, as they material ages, starts to smell...funny. If it is a dark colourway, it smells WORSE. Even Febreze can't get rid of it. I have a black and dark blue that has loads more wear to them...and I can't wear them because they REEK. Anybody getting near me would think I hadn't showered. My lighter colours (white, nude and pink) also smell a little like it, but nowhere near as bad, and I have owned them longer!
Once I find the correct size bra for me, I say sayonara to Playtex!
